I have previously gifted WW, but for my mental health and connection to my ancestral home, I'm looking to share some southern hemisphere joy with fellow Ukrainians who also love snail mail as the news has been weighing very heavily on me lately. I have a selection of New Zealand (graphic designed) tourist postcards or a smaller number of NZ-themed Christmas cards to share. This is open to both people still in Ukraine or refugees living abroad.

I am OK with people DMing and I do not expect a Thanks post as I don't want anyone to have to publicly declare their refugee status or that they are in Ukraine if they don't want to.

Just in case there is a lot of interest, I may have to mark this as fulfilled and stagger requests out over weeks or longer because stamps are just wildly expensive. Especially if you want a card.

(I am aware of the postcards to the fronts programs. This is aimed at our RAoC community.)

Dear all

Our 4 year-old daughter had to go to the hospital yesterday for a minor surgery on her ears. But she came through it just fine. She loves reading books. Maybe some of you would send her a card which I can read for her to get well soon?

I think she would be very happy about that.

At the same time, her 1-year-old brother is also down with a gastrointestinal infection. It's so hard to keep them apart, but we're doing our best. Being a parent isn't easy!

A little positive energy certainly can't hurt anyone.
