My brother wanted to share his wip moc of chell and glados

Quite a few of them, especially in Portal 2, require a portal gun to get to, but in the comics Rattmann isn’t shown holding a portal gun at any point (from what I recall), perhaps he was just great at parkour or found some other place to get in from?

The grey paint I mixed was too dark, but oh well! I'm dressing as Chell for Halloween and don't have a portal gun (...yet), so I needed a prop, especially since the cube may be more recognizable than Chell is. 😆 I am not terribly crafty and didn't want to buy much or spend a lot of energy on this (hence how tiny it is), so I'm proud of how not completely terrible it came out, lol.

I remember some years ago when I downloaded Portal 2 throught not conventional ways.

There was also in the package another game that was basically a core with Green eyes if I remember right, with a male voice, making tests with a Gel Gun. That works similar to the portal gun but it shots Blue and Orange Gel.

Now some right now, years later, I bought the game and I was searching for the Gel Gun dlc in the Steam and I found nothing.

Then I search even more and found something called Aperture Tag🤡. Damn.

Title says its all, I'm wondering how many other people share the same idea I do. Or better yet, which design do you prefer?

Okay basically, I remember hearing about a theory that explains the major change in artstyle for Portal 3 compared to 1, and basically what I remember is that the reasoning behind the differences is that the game itself was Chell's memory of Portal 1 rather than being the actual events themselves, hence why things like cores, cubes, turrets, chambers and even Glados look a lot more simplistic. Like theres no way chell remembered EVERY minute detail of the facility so panels? Simple pistons, Cores? white eyes with handles, GLADOS? Chell likely would've been too focused on survival so she didnt get much of a good look at her, meaning glados would be remembered as just a large, hulking, and mencing piece of machinery with white plating that doesn't move much

i dont have an aperture science handheld portal device so this is the next best option

Been messing around with the SAR plugin and its freecam mode. I had to edit in the fpv portal gun. Couldn't figure out how to get rid of Chell's while using freecam.

Has anyone noticed that the Turrets in the first portal game appear in a setting similar to art works of James Turrell? James Turrell is a modern artist who ... among his works creates environments of ambient light filtered through squares in ceilings. In the first portal game x's on the ceilings indicate "jumping" the Turrets through putting a portal in the ceiling. Later in the game the turrets appear under squares of ambient light appearing on the ceiling over the turrets. Could Portal be engaging in some intentional wordplay between Turrets and Turrell? Could this be some kind of secret meaning encoded into the game?

Hi - I've been working on this game for some months now. It is inspired by other games with similar 2D portal ideas, like Gateways, and obviously Portal!
Let me know if you have any ideas or feedback, and I will try to implement it in the game.
