I’m getting around 3-5 ms of latency sometimes reaches 10ms and 13-15 bitrate. Games feel very stiff unplayable for me I gave it a good game session of about 3 hours and I got a headache from trying to control my character in various games. Also my hands hurt after 30 minutes of using it strange since ps5 is my favorite controller

I got a PS5 at home an just bought my PS portal for when I’m away.
I bought Fc27 on my PS5 with disc version but when I remote play it with my Ps Portal it’s very laggy

And experienced that the games I can stream from the premium are not laggy at all.
So my question is:

Is it possible to cloud stream Fc27 the same way was the other games without using remote play?

If yes, please tell me how to do it so I can play without the lag.

Playing in bed. Just switched back to Samsung s26ultra and look at how easy it is to play on hotspot with no lagging or issues and with remote play too. Iphone hotspot is a joke.

This may have been discussed before I’m not sure but I’m having problems connecting to my PS5 when I use hotspot when I first got the portal it worked and for the past year and a half. I’ve never been able to use it outside of my house. If I’m not on my home Wi-Fi any information or walk-throughs will be appreciated.

I previously had a ps portal and in the end I sold it as I didn’t use it that much but also because I just couldn’t get it to work properly and kept getting the yellow warning in the right hand corner.

I’m getting the urge to buy another one, however i want to make sure I get the optimum set up. What is more important, having the ps5 hard wired? Or a better router.

For context I’m in the uk and with EE and get 900mbs and have the Hub 7 pro with WiFi 7. Having it hardwired is difficult just because of the layout of the room and if I run it along the skirting boards it would need to go along the bottom of the stairs and across the front door so it’s not ideal. I’m pulling my carpet up soon so I could run it under the carpet. Or would I get a good performance upgrade from a better router? I’ve always ever just used the hubs that come with the BB providers so don’t have much experience. Any help or advice would be appreciated

What a time to be alive

Been on the fence since it launched in 2023. It did not help that it was out of stock everywhere in NYC that time too!

Last week, I saw one last stock at my LGS and I caved in. Man, my Miles Morales backlog is suddenly 50% through. I’ve been playing more on my PS5 as well. And the best part? I got the 30th Anniversary Edition for $300 and they offered a 0% installment plan for 12 months. 🥰

Runs pretty good, minimal input lag. Fun enough 😁

I’m considering buying a Portal. If I were to stream a game on the cloud (which I have not tried yet), such as GTA for instance, would my progress be saved to the console as well? On the PS5, my games are all saved directly on and played from the console, not the cloud.

Hey yall, I was just having a normal play session while laying in bed when portal started having ghost touches right where the touchpads are. Haven’t been able to fix with a clean, or a reset. Anybody else have this issue before, and are there any solutions outside sending it back to Sony? Thanks.

I got a portal yesterday and I’ve been having trouble getting the update to install. Have asked PS support but they’ve said it’ll take up to 5 days to get a response, so thought I’d ask here in case anyone has any ideas!
It connects to the internet fine, but fails to install the software update no matter what method I use (tried WiFi on 5 and 2.4 GHz, and on two different hotspots). I’ve restarted it multiple times, as well as a hard restart, but no luck. Anyone have any suggestions?
