Diancie ended up doing 880 damage. The Meowth kept landing heads on the take no damage coin flip.

More than anything the Meowth has been the most difficult part of this event battle. Does anyone know any good counters to it?

So why does Power of Alchemy not affect Dragonair's ability? Why can Dragonair still feed M. Garchomp?? It blocked Meowth but not Dragonair????

Just wanted to ask whether it would make sense to have different formats within the game. It doesn't make sense to me that you would have EX Pokemon and then other pokemon that invalidate everything they do. It's not like the ability of that oricoruo card makes EX attacks less effective, they are invalidated. So just make a format where EX pokemon are not allowed. I can't know whether the other player will have a pokemon that just invalidates the entire deck if i have an EX pokemon, so it just introduces a weird imbalance to me, right?

I tried building multiple decklists for him, i tried dragonair chomp, i tried mantine chomp, i tried religar chomp with a copy of him. But he is legit so bad bruh...

Hi, in light of Step-Up battles disappearing next month, I wanted to ask for some help. I've been slowly working through them all for the hour-glass rewards and I suddenly realized that after this they will probably rework some things and give us a whole new single player experience.

So, I was wondering if you guys could share your nastiest, scummiest, down right evil decks with me.

The decks you wouldn't dare use against another person because it is downright deplorable. Your stall decks. Your worse sleep decks. Genuinely give me your most reprehensible collection of cards because some of these expert level decks are actually making me so annoyed right now.

I have multiples of every single normal card in the game, so I'm not too worried about being unable to build it.

So please, send me your most horrifying decks this season.

As you no longer lose points for losing in the ranked battles, it has relatively become somewhat easier to climb up to Master Ball Rank. To summarize this deck...

1. I chose this deck as this was the only deck that helped me win 5 wins consecutively in the Expert mode, thus I decided to try this in ranked.

2. This deck works great on both first and second turn, mostly prefer the first turn to evolve straight to Mega Gardevoir ex using rare candies.

3. This deck has pretty much defeated most of the meta decks I have ever encountered EXCEPT Oricorio + Magnezone + Miraidon ex deck. It is doable to defeat if you manage to deal damages with Normal Gardevoir or Meloetta, but I have never got to defeat them.

So the strategies are pretty straight forward if you have played this game or a similar deck consisting Gardevoir and Mega Diancie ex. Here are 3 main approaches I use.

1. It is best to start with Meloetta, Poké Ball, and Peculiar Plaza cards. That way, you can freely switch a Gardevoir/ex with 2 energies attached from the bench to attack. And most likely you will also likely to have Diancie ex in your hand from Serena, Poké Ball and Strange Singing. However, why do I only have one Meloetta? this will lead to the second strategy.

2. So it is ironic that I only have one Meloetta card despite the fact that I said it is best to start with Meloetta. Well, you technically do not need two Meloetta cards to prevent you from getting Meloetta when you really need Ralts in your bench to evolve to the Gardevoir ex. Most of the time, you will find yourself starting with Ralts, but Meloetta will show up from one of the Poké Ball cards and possibly from Copycat. You don't wanna stall too much and make the opponent make a move first.

3. Lastly the main reason why this deck is strong is not because of Mega Gardevoir does most of the damage, it is the Brilliant Storm along with a chance to stack more energies to power it up enough to knock pretty much any cards except Oricorio by healing with Diantha and Pokémon Center Lady, which is mainly used to deal with sleep deck.

Lastly, I wanna mention the importance of timing when it comes to using Peculiar Plaza. Even though you have two cards, you have to be careful not to use it just to replace the opponent's stadium card. You don't wanna use it too fast or wrong turn and get your Peculiar Plaza being replaced by another stadium card, which forces you have to use an energy to replace Meloetta; not on the Mega Gardevoir who needs an energy to be able to attack. Also the Normal Gardevoir can distribute an extra 20 or more damage every turn for Brilliant Storm if you are lucky. Have fun!

Just wanted to see if this is a common issue with the game. Seems it "demands" a near perfect internet connection or the game refuses to load.

I'm trying to play a trading card game (in single player mode), not some fast paced FPS or racing game that requires minimal lag 🤔

I’m playing a aceptile/butterfly vs Hoopa. I led with treeko and after a few turns had evolved treeko into grovoyle and had caterpie on the bench. My Grovoyle got knocked out and so before the end of the turn caterpie came to the active spot and then the then ended. I didn’t have any metapods in my hand as you can see - both were in my deck. It should have auto evolved caterpie into Metapod allowing me to then evolve Butterfree. But nothing happened and I could only evolve to Metapod the next hand? You can see in the first pic the battle log where caterpie was put into the active spot before Pokémon checkup then it became my turn (no Metapod in my hand). The second picture shows my discard pile. No Metapod there. Am I taking crazy pills? Is it a bug. I’ve been playing with and against this deck for months and feel like caterpie should have evolved

I love playing Hisuian Zoroark (that's why I have 6 whole decks revolved around it hence the name) and I also really love playing Vespequin EX and I realized the synergy potential with this combo. It's not perfect by any means but if Vespequin discards every basic then gets knocked out itself, H-Zoroark can attack for 220 damage! Like I said it's not perfect, if Vespequin isn't out early then your bench is basically full and you might not be able to power up Hisuian Zoroark, plus this deck is prone to getting copycat cheesed since you're gonna have a full hand most of the time. But I do love this deck and I just wanted to share it because I haven't seen anybody else try this before. Also if you wanna give me points on what to swap or change that would be cool too.

I feel like Mega Garchomp is the first promo ex that really has a chance to be in the meta. There really isn’t any other card that can consistently hit for 190 damage multiple turns in a row. After playing around with it for a bit, I feel like this is the best version of it so far.

I’ve seen most people are pairing the Mach Stealth Garchomp with the mega, but I feel like the Reckless Shearing Garchomp works better. It doesn’t have the sweep potential, but the extra draw is really important for getting multiple stage 2s on the board. Being able to get through the deck has saved multiple game for me so far. Also, it can attack a turn sooner with only 2 energy.

How has everyone else felt about this guy so far.

I’ve been playing with this deck and have been having moderate success.

The idea is to stall as long as possible with the meowths while I load up serperior with as many energies as possible and have the other superior doubles those energies for ridiculously high hp serperior.

Celebi, however, doesn’t always feel useful. Anyone have some ideas on what to swap celebroni with?
