Hi everyone, I'm having a frustrating issue with my PC and hoping someone can help.
The issue:
When I turn on my PC, all the LEDs light up, fans start spinning, and my keyboard/mouse light up as well. However, the screen remains completely black.
The monitor definitely senses the connection: when I unplug the cable, it says "No Signal", but when I plug it back into the GPU, the "No Signal" message disappears, yet the screen stays completely black.
What happened before:
I had this exact same problem in the past. To fix it back then, I tried everything: I pulled out and reseated the RAM, removed the CMOS (BIOS) battery multiple times, and re-seated the graphics card. After many attempts, it randomly booted up and worked fine.
What happened now:
The PC was turned off and just sitting idle for about a week. Today, I tried turning it on, and the same issue came back out of nowhere. Nothing was changed in the hardware, but it’s back to a black screen.
My System Specs:
CPU: [ryzen 7 5800x]
GPU: [asus rx9070 prime ]
RAM: [2x8gb 3000mhz and 2x8 3200mhz Kingston fury]
Motherboard: [asus Prime B550M-A]
Power Supply 750w bronze thermaltake
Has anyone experienced this before? What could be causing this recurring issue if reseating parts only fixes it temporarily?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
