It’s been a week since I come back to this game and this is “the welcome back”

i’d honestly love a demon slayer or my little pony collab… lol

We are 100% getting Sven or one of his creations as a hero.

So like in deadlock (peak game) if you ult or just use moves in general at low health characters have different lines

So like what if ow had them or something idk

This has been the most fun mode i've played since the end of overwatch 1, this is the spice the game needed, all the characters should be included in this system, what do you think?

I know a lot of us are eager to learn more about this character, so i thought it’d be fun to try and make suggestions as to what his name could be.

I’ve "N01R" thrown around and although i like it, i think it’s too on the nose for them to really go down that route.

My guess would be something along the lines of "Shamus" or "Sharper", both terms used in film noir and surrounding media to talk about a detective or a PI. I like those two because they have an omnic quality to the way they sound, especially Shamus.

I could see Sharper happening because it also alludes to his style and what we can make of his personnality so far. And we know the OW team enjoys the -er suffix to turn an adjective or verb into a noun (Tracer, Reaper, Lifeweaver, Widowmaker). In that same vein I think Scourer or Pryer are options, although they sound too aggressive.

Do you guys also have theories? I’d love to hear some!!

I really don't like a lot of the OW2 redesigns for all the original OW characters, a lot of them are way too busy and overdesigned, but they're treated as the default designs now. Any promotional art, short or skins will use these designs. And it sucks, because there are some really cool skins with great colours and textures, but they're put onto these shitty jumbled character models.

Would be cool if all epic skins had the ability to be toggled between OW1 and OW2 character models, but that would require Blizzard to manually tweak like a few thousand skins, so that's never ever going to happen.

Yūrei are vengeful spirits, usually forming from violent deaths, btw. Figured I'd try something like that with Shion.

This is something I’ve been wondering about for a while, and I’ve been inspired by a different post someone made recently about looking at winrates and the state certain heroes are actually in. Kiriko was undoubtedly broken when she first released, and she’s always had aspects of her kit that are frustrating to play against. Currently though, she has the worst winrate in the entire game, and although stats don’t mean everything there’s definitely something to talk about.

I (disgustingly) have onetricked her since she first released. This is not a flex, but objectively I’m above average at playing the hero (sat around masters 1 when I was playing seriously and dipped into GM before champ released as a rank). From that perspective, it’s hard for me to say she’s ever been truly bad even now, because I personally don’t have a hard time getting value out of her, and she has crazy potential. But most players aren’t going to do that.

Compared to other supports, you have to put in a lot of effort to get that carry value out of her. When I’m on an off role and I’m playing with a Kiriko, it often feels as impactful as having a healbot Mercy on my team. Like sure, if you compare rez to suzu both are nice to have, but it’s not what’s carrying games, and it often prolongs the inevitable. In the past I would really notice her impact, but in her current state the average Kiriko is just kinda… there. Half the time it’s someone swapping in a losing game just to try and stay alive better.

Sometimes it almost feels like how people looked at Sombra. She was incredibly annoying, but not really good outside of niche situations, or the freak onetricks that actually made her work well. The only thing that fixed that was an entire role rework, just balance changes on their own never helped with the frustration aspect.

I’m wondering what people think the solution is for a character like Kiriko. Do you think there’s a sweet spot where buffs/nerfs will eventually just work? Or do you think some of her kit needs a bigger overhaul like Sombra or Hog (even if not quite as extreme)? Obviously she’s in a unique spot as a fan favourite poster child, so I’m not sure they’ll ever be brave enough to really experiment with her, but it’s fun to think about at least.

Let's just compare these two bundles.

For the small sum of $69 (/s), in the same shop rotation, you can either buy a collaboration bundle that includes: 5! skins, 5 highlight intros, 5 victory poses, 5 name plates and 2 voice lines. Or, you can get a bundle with 4 skins, 2 highlight intros, only 1 name plate, no voice lines and no victory poses at all.

Like, are we for real here? Apparently, Blizzard know that, for once, they released a good skin lineup. So they feel like it's OK to sell it for more than most other painfully mediocre designs they pump out every season? I really like the Advanced Wearables skins and I actually play all 4 of those characters, but every single brain cell I have left screams that I'd be a complete idiot to buy this bundle and support this shrinkflation.

I don't even wanna talk about the Ultra skins and the watering down of the legendary skin concept. And I know that reddit posts are mostly just screaming into the void. But is it really so hard to treat your paying customers with an ounce of respect, Blizzard? They'll buy it anyway, so they don't deserve it? Grim attitude to have. And I prefer to feel like I'm supporting developers who don't treat me like an idiot and a money lemon to squeeze dry. My wallet stays shut.

The angriest, pettiest, most toxic comp player will never compare to those night stalker one tricks with 3k hours in just QP. These creatures rise from the mist of the bog with a fervor in their heart that would shake a mortal man. Their ire unbound and indiscriminate, any in their way will be consumed in their dark lust to save their K/D. Let not even a whisper into match chat lest to enrage them for their grudges know no end. Beware those that stalk the QP queues in the dead of night or you will be naught but a memory to those who knew you.

I love 6v6, but I don't like open queue. I get it there aren't enough tanks. But I don't mind longer queue times for better quality games. I'm not a very high rank but I still enjoy playing ranked and improving. But I get people so often that can't fill, I would queue 5v5 to avoid that but I just really enjoy off-tanking... What's the reason we don't have a 6v6 role queue? Is it really because of lack of tanks??

I need this disgusting, vile, war criminal to be put into the ground never to be seen again. Every map with some open sightlines are just unable to be accessed because this filthy, repugnant criminal just stands there and takes your head off the millisecond you even think about playing the game. Its bad enough that she can one shot you from across the map with no effort, but when you decide to dive her any widow main with a functioning brain cell just grapples back to her team, making your dive completely useless and ineffective. The fact this character has been able to do this since overwatch 1 and none of the devs have even attempted to give her a rework is bonkers to me. I still don't understand why the devs gave her a perk thats a straight up damage upgrade with PIERCING, why just why would you give the already annoying character with a one shot more damage. I need this character to be given the sombra/roadhog treatment immediately. Take her out of the game, remove her one shot or just remove her grapple, I will take ANYTHING as long as she gets some kind of nerf.

So I’ve finally reached gm in tank and I thought it would be more surreal, but when I play in gm lobbies I’m starting to realize this shit is really just masters players who no life the game. Like maybe it’s just me who hasn’t realized this until now but like literally anybody whose touched masters in ranked can become GM, hell they can stay in gm and just farm challenger score to become top 500 too. Because of this I’ve lost motivation to keep grinding ranked, cause top 500 is just whoever is more capable of being a bum and cranking 12 hours a day on ranked.

Both Sierra and Doctrine’s kits revolve around their drones, but in Sierra’s case she’s just got the one grapple ability and everything else is aesthetic. She was teased to have gameplay revolving around her drones, but she doesn’t do anything with them. Meanwhile Doctrine uses drones in almost all his abilities and he’s not even the “Drone hero”.

A few weeks ago, I posted a few Overwatch heroes and matching nail polishes, and I was waiting for Doctrine's official hero portrait. I forgot for a few weeks, and it's almost his 26th birthday lol, so I present a few shades for Doctrine vibes!

Old ultimate pass skins only exist in loot boxes right now. They never appear in the shop, the for you shop or Maximilien's vault. Some of them are 2 years old!

Why are they the most restricted to get skins? They are already technically free, they would lose nothing by making them buyable for credits... Absolutely sucks to have missed one for you main, as it currently is it only promotes selling/buying accounts who got the skin from loot boxes... Other promo skins return someday at some capacity almost always!
