When I was a kid growing up in Vietnam, my neighbor, a boy visiting from the US brought over a Nintendo handheld running Pokémon. I still remember how utterly fascinated I was just watching him play, wishing I could have one of my own. Back then, it was way out of reach.

Fast forward to today: I’m 36 now, and I decided it was time to fulfill that childhood dream. I managed to track down an original 3DS in great condition from a local collector on Facebook, and holding it in my hands honestly brings me so much joy.

I finally booted up Pokémon, and here’s what I just caught!

What Pokémon game should I dive into next?

I want to buy a 3DS as soon as possible. Since prices are so high, I’m considering buying an "old" 3DS XL first, and then—once I’ve saved up more money—upgrading to a "New" 3DS XL. As a teenager, I don’t have enough income to go straight for a "New" model; I earn about 8 dollars a week, and a "New" 3DS XL costs around 370 dollars in my country, whereas the "old" XL costs 175. I’m not sure if this is the right decision, so I’m asking for your opinions.

I was wondering if I could get any advice on what I should do about my 3DS?

I’ve had my 3DS since 2017, and I recently started college so I brought it with me to play for whenever I have free time. However, it wouldn’t charge so I ordered a new one hoping that was the only problem. I probably should’ve checked to make sure it was an official charger, but I wasn’t really thinking. Anyways, when it finally came the new charger did in fact work so I thought the problem was resolved but now today when I went to charge my 3DS it just wouldn’t.

I’ve had my 3DS for almost 10 years so it’s pretty plausible that the battery is dead, but I just wanted some extra advice since I’m not really that techy before purchasing anything. Also, today when I plugged in my 3DS with the “old” charger that I thought stopped working, the charger light turned on for a bit which I thought was a little weird. It might be that the battery was the problem all along, but I’m still confused on how it was able to charge with the new, knockoff charger.

Regardless, I’d appreciate any advice!

Hi guys, I currently have the chance to buy a New Nintendo 3DS XL in a pretty great condition with an IPS Panel for around 260€ would you call that a rather good deal? Recently, game ports have been released on old consoles, the same mario cart wii on 3ds, it's even possible, the same roblox on xbox 360 and etc, and I thought if it was possible to port the game ben 10 protector of earth to new 3ds? I don't think this game is more demanding than Mario cart wii. Yes, I know that all these games are not ports, but as I understand its an ai and vibecoding are used for such "ports", I could be wrong because I don't know exactly how everything works, but as if it would be quite possible to port Ben 10?
