One scene main character gets pulled over by a cop and I realized the buildings was downtown Newark.
Another scene driving in fire truck and they are on MLK Blvd crossing Central ave passing the old St Michaels building. And they was in the Ironbound in the warehouse sections, and many was shot in and around NJIT.

Hiii, Iβm a NJIT architecture student doing a project on Newark Broad Street Station and I wanna hear from anybody who uses it or is familiar with the area. I have many thoughts but I wanna hear many to create a better understanding and argument for my assignment.
What are your biggest complaints about the station? Are there any specific areas that feel confusing, uncomfortable, unsafe, or poorly designed? Is there anything you wish was different, or anything you think the station does well?
Iβm especially interested in specific locations and personal experiences. Feel free to just rant and complain since believe me I understand how annoying commuting in Newark is. Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks!

In July, I took off a bus stop in frelinghuysen Ave and it had an honestly super bad smell. It looked very secluded, and empty, with a rotten dead animal smell. I'm also curious about this avenue, as I heard prostitution takes place.

Hi! I'm a student reporter working on a piece about the No Kings rallies coming up this 17th, and I was wondering if anyone here plans to attend. I would love to do a brief interview with them or get a quote through email/messages! Please DM me if you are willing to take around 10 minutes to answer a few questions. Thank you so much!

Can someone please explain the overnight parking restrictions to me? So I live in downtown Newark and have for the past year. While I do have a parking garage, it closes at 10pm, so anytime I get home later than 10pm I park on the street and move my car in the morning. Last night I got home after 10pm, so I left my car on the street. The sign said no parking Monday-Wednesday-Friday 12midnight-6am. It was a Monday night so I figured Iβd be fine. I have parked overnight dozens of time without ever getting a ticket. Well this morning when I went to move my car I got a ticket. The ticket says 10/13 at 1am. To my understanding, this is a Tuesday morning when I should be allowed to park. I tried pleading not guilty online but tbh Iβm not even sure I did that correctly.
Am I missing something? I have literally never gotten a ticket despite parking overnight on the streets so many times. The sign does not say Tuesday.
Update: I called the police department and the officer confirmed I should have been able to park there at that time.

I have a conference to attend in a few weeks at the Newark airport Marriott. I wonβt have a car and Iβll only have nights free. I have heard Ironbound is the spot for food but β¦ is there anything else worth checking out? No longer in my bar hopping era but I still enjoy a good cocktail here and there. Any cute little shops to poke around in? I was thinking of possibly going to the library or art museum (if hours allow) but I donβt know if theyβre worth the trip. I think Iβll be mighty bored staying in my hotel room the whole time. Suggestions appreciated, the weirder the better.
