Discussions 🗣|Rants 🤬|Opinions 🤔 Was it me or Frelinghuysen Ave. smelled horrible?
In July, I took off a bus stop in frelinghuysen Ave and it had an honestly super bad smell. It looked very secluded, and empty, with a rotten dead animal smell. I'm also curious about this avenue, as I heard prostitution takes place.

Question❔ Parking overnight
Can someone please explain the overnight parking restrictions to me? So I live in downtown Newark and have for the past year. While I do have a parking garage, it closes at 10pm, so anytime I get home later than 10pm I park on the street and move my car in the morning. Last night I got home after 10pm, so I left my car on the street. The sign said no parking Monday-Wednesday-Friday 12midnight-6am. It was a Monday night so I figured I’d be fine. I have parked overnight dozens of time without ever getting a ticket. Well this morning when I went to move my car I got a ticket. The ticket says 10/13 at 1am. To my understanding, this is a Tuesday morning when I should be allowed to park. I tried pleading not guilty online but tbh I’m not even sure I did that correctly.
Am I missing something? I have literally never gotten a ticket despite parking overnight on the streets so many times. The sign does not say Tuesday.
Update: I called the police department and the officer confirmed I should have been able to park there at that time.

Recommendations❔| In Search Of... 🔎| Advice 💡 Things for a conference attendee to do besides eat
I have a conference to attend in a few weeks at the Newark airport Marriott. I won’t have a car and I’ll only have nights free. I have heard Ironbound is the spot for food but … is there anything else worth checking out? No longer in my bar hopping era but I still enjoy a good cocktail here and there. Any cute little shops to poke around in? I was thinking of possibly going to the library or art museum (if hours allow) but I don’t know if they’re worth the trip. I think I’ll be mighty bored staying in my hotel room the whole time. Suggestions appreciated, the weirder the better.
