Discussion Harrison Mevis has been seen doing even MORE scandals that are absolutely not OK to be doing

Post image

Dov is doing the real work here getting all the true facts about Mevis. It is UNBELIEVABLE the NFL didn’t punish him for it or never even bothered with this. This is a very disturbing sign for our society. Mevis and everyone that defends him needs to be ashamed of themselves.

tweet CB Marlon Humphrey says as soon as Tua Tagovailoa entered the game, S Kyle Hamilton knew he was getting an INT. “Kyle was like, ‘TUA IN THE GAME.’ He was like, ‘He gonna throw me one.’ It was the most excited I’ve probably seen Kyle.”

Discussion Purdy may win MVP.

He's definitely a front-runner.

I also got K9 not far behind. And of course, Josh Allen.

But Purdy is playing pure football. And it had to be acknowledged.

Discussion Why does Herbert get so much blame when we know the Chargers are and have always been a garbage organization?

Post image
176 Upvotes

Not only did they accomplish nothing with a Hall of Fame QB, HB, and TE (Gates), but they accomplished nothing with Rivers either… Brees looked WAY better on the Saints IMMEDIATELY after he left the Chargers.

The Chargers organization is so shitty that Eli Manning REFUSED to sign a contract to play there.

So why is Herbert expected to accomplish something even some of the best QBs of recent history could not?

Just an observation from someone who is not a Chargers fan.

Edit: since no one has addressed this… What do you think was the reason Eli Manning didn’t sign there?

Discussion Somebody explain to me wth is a “smart interception”. Cause I never heard that term used to describe a qb throwing a pick with wide open receivers in front of him.

For context I’m referring to the pick on 3rd on 6 with 2 timeouts left.

Discussion Hot Take: The NFL should play one game a year in Puerto Rico. Thoughts?

Post image

I think it would be a great idea since it’s a U.S. territory and it would grow fandom outside the mainland U.S. I’m honestly surprised the league hasn’t done so yet. Probably because there are no large stadiums on the island, the largest currently only having like a 24,000 capacity. However if they built a new soccer stadium there that can hold more people, it would be a great idea to host an NFL game there! 🇵🇷🏈

Discussion Why "Josh Allen has no help" is the laziest take in football right now.

Every time the Bills' offense stalls for a quarter or Josh Allen gets brought up in MVP/top-QB debates, the same tired excuse immediately floods the thread: "Well, Josh doesn't have any help!"

At this point, that take is absolutely bs and completely ignores how NFL roster building and the salary cap actually work. Because people equate "help" strictly with having two flashy, $30M+ perimeter wide receivers, they act like Josh is out there playing 1-on-11 with a practice squad.

Just look at what he actually has:

A Top-Tier Offensive Line: Buffalo's line (Dion Dawkins, Connor McGovern, O'Cyrus Torrence, Spencer Brown, and Alec Anderson) consistently ranks in the top 5 to 7 in the NFL. Running backs were hit behind the line on just 38% of carries in 2025—the third-lowest rate in the league. Most QBs would gladly trade a flashy WR1 for that kind of protection.

An Elite Run Game: James Cook won the 2025 NFL rushing title with 1,621 yards and 12 touchdowns after tying for the league lead with 16 rushing TDs in 2024. He has three straight 1,000-yard seasons, meaning Josh doesn't have to carry the rushing offense anymore.

A Productive Tight End Duo: Even with Dalton Kincaid playing through a torn PCL in 2025, he and Dawson Knox still combined for 988 yards and 9 touchdowns. That gives Josh two proven targets over the middle and in the red zone.

Josh makes $55 million a year on his 6-year, $330M contract. He's worth every penny, but in a hard salary cap league, you can't pay a QB $55M and still afford stars at every single position.
Every contender with a top-paid QB has to go cheap somewhere. When Patrick Mahomes' huge contract kicked in, the Chiefs traded Tyreek Hill and built around their O-line, Travis Kelce, and defense. Buffalo did the exact same thing putting their money into the trenches, the run game, and tight ends instead of paying $30M+ for a wide receiver.
