Well, our voting system is made to be exploited, so that people have a harder time expressing their intent effectively.

This is why the best vote is to vote for anyone who seriously supports ranked choice voting.

In the primaries, yes. In the general election, you should just vote for whoever has the best chance to defeat the Republican. That means NOT voting 3rd party in the general election.

Getting a voting system that allows voters to express their desires without having to resort to strategy (something that Ranked Choice Voting can do, but doesn’t necessarily always do) is a really good goal to have.
