I'm making my own Minecraft stuff in Blockbench for Halloween! Here's my Halloween skin and my custom Devil Broadsword. Last image is my default skin for reference.

I'm still learning, so I'd appreciate honest ratings and suggestions. What would you rate them out of 10?

Discussion What is your Minecraft music disc holy trinity?

Post image
• Upvotes

(No judgements and hate)

Me:

  1. Creator - it's thrilling and epic to listen to. Could make a grown man cry.

  2. Tears - i love vibey songs. Makes me want to listen to this music disc at the rooftop of my builds while staring at the ocean at night.

  3. Lava Chicken - people are divided to this, I actually love this idc. This is very Minecraft coded (OBVIOUSLY) but my point is it have "video game-blocky" sounds that makes me appreciate Minecraft more. It's also an upbeat music.

Note: I am torn between Lava Chicken and Pigstep. With Pigstep, I love it already, I just love Lava Chicken more 🥰

Discussion What are the best marketplace items to buy on bedrock?

• Upvotes

I’ve bought both Jurassic adventure and park world, two dinosaur add-ons, Avatar world, how to train your dragon add-on and world and many more… but I want something else, like a great world that I can put add-ons onto, or a simulator world that is interactive 😔any suggestions, or maybe things you have bought that sound like what I’m looking for?

Builds & Maps My Hidden Under ground mega base/trophy room (WIP) with redstone stuffs

• Upvotes

Bear with my laggy lap top screen record.

Im a mid builder and even midder redstoner, but I had so much fun making this!

This is meant to be a trophy room/mega base to fill up since i beat the game already. This was a huge cave and I slightly changed some dimensions but I primarily tried to keep the natural cave generation, for example that tunnel was already there, the long hallway at the end was already there, I just widened it a bit. everything was naturally in the shape it was already, I just widened some areas, closed off some areas and shaped it a bit with the blocks I wanted.

I made the door work via skulk sensing my armor swapping myself and connected that to an awesome 4x4 piston door that i found from "Kwipla" on Youtube.

His door worked via a lever, and since skulk sensors give off very small redstone signals I had to learn what a pulse extender was and attach two of them to the sensor so the signal was long enough to open the door without breaking it which I showed in the second video. I also had to learn the calibrated skulk sensor mechanics

I made that redstone nether portal thing with the pistons ALL BY MYSELF.

I know its not alot but im still really proud I didnt need a tutorial for any of that even tho its relatively simple :)

I also showed the redstone I whipped up for the piston wall behind that bamboo door.

Its a bit cringy but I kept in the door so I could show my girlfriend lol.

Its a WIP since its not filled with trophies yet, But I really want to add something in that little tunnel under the stairs, I wanna add stuff to the upstairs region besides the elytra diving board to get a better view of the egg I showed at the end. I plan on filling all those gaps in the long tunnel with name tagged cool mobs I find, yk armored chicken jocky, chainmail skele, etc. and yea I wanna add more redstone if I could figure out anymore ideas.

Im also open to any ideas from anyone here!

Trophy things I wanna put:

Deepslate coal and emerald, Stone diamond ore

My Beacon

Mob heads

Conduit (Will make underwater setup)

a netherite block maybe??

im out of ideas.

Help Bedrock PC and Xbox on same Microsoft account?

• Upvotes

So I have bought this game on multitudes of platforms so far and am currently playing a realm server. I would like to invite my friend but she doesn't have her own copy. However I do own the game on PC (I'm playing on Xbox). It's the same Microsoft account, not sure when they did away with mojang but is there any way we could play together using my account but different platforms?

Hey everyone. Bedrock player. I’m pretty new to Minecraft. I’m trying to make a piston elevator but every video I watch ends up not working. I spent way too much time for it not to work. Comments are often, did you follow step by step….oh yeah over and over again. Looking for a good elevator build that works! Thank you

Builds & Maps Villagers Won't Sleep in Beds on Top Floor

Post image

Help! My villagers will sleep on the beds I put on this bottom floor, but they won't use the ones I have on the second floor. In the moment of this picture, I have the beds up top so they had no choice but to choose the upper beds. I made a building for this once before and had to knock it down to make it easily accessible, hence this model which is like another build that had claimed to work for their villagers. Can someone point out something I'm not noticing or have don't have knowledge of? They will sleep under the top floor and where I am standing but not the upper floor whatsoever. Thank you!

Help Anyone Have Any Large Area Wall Ideas?

Context: I am playing on a mostly arid world, obviously with some starter items to help me survive. But due to a few mods I have, a lot of them spawns near me. I plan to make a wall for a "large" area, roughly a 5x5 chunk area, and I need ideas on what walls I should build. Yes, I could build simple 3-5 block tall walls of wooden planks, but I don't like the idea of "it's just a game", I like putting immersion.

So, does anyone have any wall ideas for a large area? Preferable theme is something crude or medieval.

Builds & Maps Making up a snowy Viking inspired build using a bunch of addons

I got tired just roaming around the Overworld, trading with villagers across the land and having to compete with my Switch crashing on me so I chose the ol’ reliable Creative Mode and decided to build a Viking inspired build using a bunch of add ons, and as for the builds themselves I have made theses myself using my knowledge from tutorials I’ve watched for different techniques, inspiration from the HTTYD franchise and Assassins Creed: Valhalla and from posts from this here subreddit and outside of it

On a side note: when your building with respawn anchors (I believe that’s what there called, correct me if I’m wrong). Make sure you place them in your build first before ANYTHING ELSE if you activate them because I learned that the hard way when making the enchantment/potion making space for anyone who wants to use these in their builds

And as for the add ons I used, the following are:

• Biomes of Plenty by 4KS Studio
• Lights and Lamps by KA Studios
• Realistic Biomes by Oreville Studios

The only other add on I also got on is Soundscapes+ but it’s not a required add on if you don’t care for environmental sounds. I do plan on expanding the world as I have plans on making a haunted mansion based on the Wooden Mansion in the Minecraft Construction guide using different wood materials and if you guys got any suggestions, feel free to share them with me and I will insure to credit you in the world itself

Builds & Maps My First try at a Forever World

I've been playing Minecraft since 2014, never once have I made a world last longer than a month or two. Until now I usually get through the base progression, dream of building big and quit before I ever start. I see a lot of hate for Mojang's recent "small" updates, but with all the new block variety and small features for the first time ever I've been able to enjoy this game past its basic functions and enjoy the slow grind.

So far I built a giant librarian house which can be seen to the right, while mainly working on my main base for about 2 months now, most of the time has been spent digging out this massive hole. The base features a 4 multi-floor piston elevator, auto potion brewing and much more. I have plans to build mini islands floating in the "cave" each with a beacon of a different material. I can't wait to see where the world is at in a year or even 5 from now. Trust the process.

Video games aside though, it's very important to learn and remind yourself that sometimes taking the slow route, thinking things out and building it all up to just to break and rebuild it again can be beneficial. Pay attention to the small things. If you read this far, I hope you have a great night.
