People complain how they miss the "old mc" but when we look back was old mc really that great? There were tons of QOL mechanics we didn't have back then that we have now. The textures are more grainy and harsh compared to the new smoother textures of the modern day. The reason you miss old mc is because you miss the specific feeling it brought you. Its not the game that changed, you did, you became more mature.
I love Minecraft and I’d really like to play it more than I do now but I just get bored so easily. I play, I think of a project and I abandon it like 10 minutes in simply because I got bored of it, even though I love the idea / really want to build it. How do you guys do it ? I see some people playing for like 10 hours at once with little to no breaks. How ?
singleplayer world, have played with friends before but we didnt get past iron armor in the overworld, i just made it into the nether and built a tiny base, any tips for a first-time nether explorer? i got SLIMED out by this weird ass red cube that looked like a spring and next to my base black skeletons are spawning and they instakill me
This is my first serious playthrough so obviously I know next to nothing about this game, but before this I thought baby zombies could only ride chickens. Just thought I'd share something I found interesting.
I think that the progression in The End should be reworked entirely by first making it so that using an end portal will spawn you inside a Broken Citadel.
For starters, Strongholds should get an update from beyond their old designs of just being tunnels underground. Or at the very least, adding larger hallways and rooms from Minecraft Dungeons. Afterall, it makes sense to seperate the area where you keep your armory from your prison cells, and your living quarters from your libary and so on.
For every 128 strongholds that exists in the overworld, another 128 broken citadels will link up to the end portal, located in the end wilds. This will drastically alter The End progression (understatement). Another change to The End is to alter the function of elytras, making them flightless. Elytras, afterall are only the outer casing that protects the wings underneath. After travelling to the center of The End through the End Gateways to reach the Dragon Island. Will you be able to slay the Ender Dragon and use dragon's breath, phantom membranes, alongside the elytra to craft Dragon Sails, wings that allow for the flight players are used to.
This fixes a few problems of The End in my eyes:
1) There is no point in finding other strongholds unless for niche items (i.e. Eye Trims, or treasure enchants)
2) Strongholds needs an update to their structure generation badly, being just tunnels of stone bricks that lead to nonsensical locations (like the libaray generating underneath a bottomless portal room, burning the bookshelves).
3) If there were an End Wilds update after this, gating it behind defeating the dragon (players should not be expected to use a flying maching) is asking for players to complain further about the topic.
4) Gating the return to the Overworld strictly behind the dragon being alive is also a pain point that could be mended by the broken citadels being linked to each stronghold, allowing for easy to parse access to and from The End.
5) Yes I had to change how Elytras worked in order to keep it strictly an end-game item. But I tried to also justify the continual use of phantom membranes and dragons breath beyond repairing your elytra or making lingering splash potions and potion-tipped arrows.
There is certainly more details of this End Update that has been sitting on my mind for months now. Critique and I'll be here to dicuss.
I have a basic laptop from 2014, I get 60 fps when I get all the good optimization mods and optimize my settings, I still haven't figured out the type of content I want to make but in the meantime I just would like to know what people think of recording Minecraft with an old low end laptop
I did this in creative mode. However I change it in to survival later it’s still doesn’t working. I wait pretty long and there’s no iron golem spawn.
I alr far from village more than150 blocks. Did I do something wrong here?
My Minecraft is Bedrock version In Mobile

Just curious if anyone knows, what this sign said back then in an old survival games lobby in Java Minecraft 1.2.5. I’ve been able to figure out most of it to get up to this: “(unknown 1) of (unknown 2) Can Be Fished For Food” I’m just not sure what the 2 unknown words missing in this sentence are? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I recently remembered an old Minecraft series on YouTube that I watched when I was younger where there were two guys exploring a custom map/world and Herobrine was constantly following them and causing different things to happen. I remember at some point they were in a village and at another they were in a really snowy industrial area. If anyone remembers something similar or knows what it is that would be amazing
The existence of the debug screen (accessed via the F3 key) in the Java Edition has rendered these two products redundant. The F3 screen provides high-precision X, Y, and Z coordinates, directional data, and time down to the exact tick.
I've been playing with Biomes O'Plenty for a while in Bedrock and it is honestly just mid. And, since most of what it gives is aesthetic items, can anyone recommend me addons compatible with it to play?
This is the best seed I have ever been in my life!!! please read my description, coordinates of structures, and look at my images and videos below!
you will spawn in a massive region where all hot biomes are clustered together! there are several huge deserts, badlands, savannahs, jungles, and warm oceans all bordering each other! this is great for finding resources like gold and sea pickles!
Now I am going to explain all the structures found in this hot biomes region and the nether! First of all there are 22 villages(19 desert villages, 2 savanna villages, and a plains village surrounded by a desert, sparse jungle, and a warm ocean). Some of these villages can have up to 4 blacksmith workshops! 1 is near a Stoney shore where there are 9 buried treasures! Another is between a desert and a jungle! There are also 4 pillager outposts, one of them is less than 50 blocks away from a village! There are tens and tens of buried treasures! There are many shipwrecks! There are many warm ocean ruins and 7 of them have clusters! There is an ocean monument on a deep lukewarm ocean close to the warm oceans! There are over 20 desert wells! There are over 30 ruined portals! There are 18 desert pyramids, few of them are next to villages and 2 of them have enchanted golden apples!!!! There are 8 abandoned camps and 3 of them have copper chests! There are many mineshafts! there are over 25 trial chambers! There are 2 strongholds located right under 2 of the villages!! there are 4 ancient cities under the badlands and savanna plateaus! Finally, when you build your nether portal near your spawn point, there are 2 nether fortresses less than 500 blocks away!!!!!
Now here are my images and videos to prove how well this seed is! don’t care of my builds, care about the seed. have fun!
This is the entire hot biomes region!Look how beautiful this view is! You can see all the hot biomes together! This ravine is under a desert close to a village! There is a mineshaft on the right! You can find tons of ores here!Under this badlands, a lush cave borders a drip stone cave! There is plenty of gold here! And look what I told you before! This is the pillager outpost really close to this village! This stoney shore has 9 buried treasures! It is close to a village and pillager outpost! These badlands and savanna plateaus is where you will find 3 ancient cities under!Amazing hole in the desert with a waterfall!Stalagmites sticking out of a desert?! How is this generation possible?!
And that‘s it! I am not sure for other structures but you have to find out! By the way, how was this seed? Was it good? Do you like it? You should. I would highly recommend you go to this seed if you play bedrock on the real game!!!!!hope you enjoy the seed!!! Bye!!!!!
I’ve been playing Minecraft for a few years, loaded many worlds for bedrock and Java Edition, seen some insane world generations throughout them. What would be the greatest world generations that has been seen or be considered a 1 in a million find.
