There is a strange, illogical modern arrogance in believing that nature moves only in rigid and predictable templates. Humans have a history of obsession with taming nature into rigid structures, like landscapers prune hedges into "unnatural shapes", create concrete channels to force streams into straight channels and label anything that breaches the curb as an anomaly or an invasive weed, farmers assigning gender roles to animals that do not have gender identities, or even humans having unnatural cosmetic and beauty standards, etc.
Yet nothing about above examples is natural, no forest has rigid and predictable patterns. Diversity is not an artificial experiment, nor is it an overnight trend, it is Fundamental operating system of whole universe and is not even limited to earth, cause I don't reckon ever hearing terms like identical planets, stars, etc.
When a young woman born with trans experience begins to sense the quiet divergence between what she is told and what she is, the surrounding culture often tries to dismiss her deepest truth as a sudden squall, a seasonal mist, or a passing cultural draft. But a seedling does not push through cold, dark soil because it read an editorial about sunlight. It pushes through the dirt because the instructions for reach, warmth, and self-possession were written into its cellular system before the first leaf ever uncurled.
Now consider a natural element like river carving a canyon. Hypothetically the river could have taken a steep descent through solid rocks. But I really don't remember any textbook straight and steep canyon ever being observed in the history of planet earth. Lets just say whenever a river decided to carve a straight canyon, a small atom decided to rebel and act uncertain way resulting in very random canyons.
This makes things very clear, humans craved for vanity projects that resembles simple patterns instead of complex uncertainty, let's say it is a stress response. But nature is complex and have literal infinitely complex parameters and their permutations and not once had there been a textbook straight canyon, so how can anyone ever confidently say things like "there are only two genders" or "gender is sex"? When we were never ever manufactured on a binary conveyor belt? We are the product of same quite, unyielding physics that tilts the planet, splits the seed and refuses to let true things to remain buried forever.
Actually I lied to you in the title, we cannot be born exceptional when nature does not even create rigid templates, everyone is exception of their own and no one can ever be made by a predictable trend; but lets say in world that revolves around homo sapiens we are naturally exceptional and not born from a trend.
