I have a few random ones, for reference, I’ve read the manga up to end of season 3, I’ve watched the anime several times, including the movie a few years back and not the new one.

There’s two episodes listed for the newest Kaguya release on Crunchyroll, are we expecting any more?

Should I read the manga up until that point for any context? i understand not everything got adapted.

Regarding Miyuki, i remember hearing the English season 3 performance has an issue where the correct voice actor has been swapped, was this resolved now? Or is it an ongoing issue.

I'm currently near the end of Season 3, and I'm genuinely confused. So, Seasons 1-3 and the first movie adapted the manga up to around Chapter 151, and now they're making a final movie with an original story that's supposed to end the anime, even though the manga has 281 chapters? That means they're basically skipping a huge part of the manga. How does that make any sense? Am I missing something here? Can someone explain what's going on?

Best character is the narrator

I’ve watch up until s3 n I stopped but I recently heard about the 2023 movie and 2025 special. I personally loved it even that it skipped major plot points I thought it was nicely delivered even tho. Sure I agree s4 would be better but I’m not complaining. Soon I grew curious and read the manga it worth it. Everybody told me the ending was ass, but I actually thought it was fulfilling. Except for hayasaka, I hoped that wasn’t a dream, n I hoped that ishigami and iino was together, I was happy to see the ring on Miyukis finger. Another it’s chikas story, she may be like the clown type character, but I had hoped that we could see more of her character development and the way Kaguya reacted to her new situationship was weird I thought idk wat was that. And iino and ishigami, I hope they get an anime and a spin off manga someday it could be fun and right after that it would be more even better if Akasaka reboot the manga and continue the whole casts adult stories and also make a special season or some sort like horimiya s2 where it’s js missing plots from the manga would be great to see. Overall, im really satisfied with everything, Kaguya n miyukis relationship was perfect, would want to see more and they shd have hugged or sum in the ending. I rly like all the cast all of them are lovable especially maki Shijo n even minato really related to me. And I cried and laughed a lot during the read. It was awesome. I love Kaguya sama love is war.

It's another awkward school romcom with Ian Sinclair as an unhinged narrator, but he makes everything better.

I just finished the show and im heartbroken its over. what other complete romance animes are there? Was Kaguya sama just the best one?

Been a while, my bad! As a reminder, I am in the process of writing an english cover for OP4 of the Kaguya anime, Love is Show. As for what I've done since the last post, here we go!

Okay so first thing I've done since the last post is fully finish up the first draft of the lyrics and they are...

not very good, to say the least. I think there's some solid ideas here, but some of them just really REALLY don't work. These choices were chosen primarily due to how close I could get the syllables to match but I didn't really take into account how it would work with the rhythm. This took me about a week to fully finish up the first draft.

I also decided that going for the entire song in one burst was a horrible idea, and that it would be best to go verse by verse, with the first one I went with being of course, the main chorus, making this section in my one note:

The plan from here was to keep workshopping the chorus, trying to refine it as best I could, and this was also around the point I realised that a full cover of the entire song probably was a little more than my abilities allowed for, so I severely scaled back the project from tackling the full version to just the version on TV.

I say all that, but then I took what may have been the most "Love is War" decision I could have made and channeled Shirogane and Kaguya in the first episode as:

okay in my case it was more like a quarter of a year but yeah, not my finest moment (I will admit when I realised I accidentally did that I was tempted to wait it out for 4 more months for the joke and reference to hit fully but I felt that was a little sadistic, both to my sanity and to whoever is interested in my progress)

In my defense, I was pretty busy with some life BS that I won't get into to the point where it kinda slipped my mind until I was going through my onenote, saw the sections I wrote up for the lyrics and went "oh damn I'm doing this. OH SHIT IT'S BEEN 2 MONTHS"

HOWEVER, I have actually made a bit of progress as while listening to another Kaguya english cover (specifically I believe GoldenBoys' cover of Giri Giri since it's my personal favourite cover of that song), I got some ideas for the chorus and wrote them down in a work in progress second draft of the chorus alongside the like 1 line of that chorus that I did actually like, specifically the final part of "for eternity", which worked surprisingly well as a replacement for "tomenaide"

is this line generic? Yep. Do I think it works for the romaji and the song? Surprisingly, yes

So that's my update as to what the hell's been going on for 2 months. Again, my bad, I will be working on it more actively from now on. Anyway, this is the part of the update where I beg all of you for assistance! If you have any ideas for lyrics or feedback for how to continue this task, please go ahead and leave a comment! Lord knows I need the help!

Heya, i just finished S3 and obviously loved it, and i would like to ask if i should watch the movie or read the manga, does the movie skip a lot

PS: even if i watch the Movie ill still read the Manga obv

It’s a common trope in romance anime for the female and male leads to each have a best friend, and for those two to end up together as well. That’s why I thought the same thing would happen with Chika and Ishigami.

That’s why I didn’t think Ishigami’s crush on Tsubame would last long. That’s also why I was super confused when a romance between Ishigami and Miko was hinted at.
