Season 03 Episode 11

Summary: After, visiting grave of her rival, Arima Kana got into an accident and wakes up, as 17 year old girl again. Given a second chance, she is determined to no longer hold back when it comes to the people in her life. But, While doing so, She uncovers dark secrets, Which makes her wonder if she really knew the people who she called "friends". and makes her question a bunch of things in her previous timeline.

Chapter 1: Alone

It was Sunday night in Tokyo Japan, The rain was pouring hard. In a grave sight, stands a girl with crimson red hair and eyes. Yelling her heart out, at a stone grave.

“Who told you to die?” Huh?” she yells. “First Aqua, then Ruby, And now you too. This isn’t Fair!” She lashes out, stomping her foot in the ground.
Engraved on the stone was the name, “Akane Kurokawa.”

The redheaded girl, sits next to the grave while the rain keeps pouring. She tilts her head, landing it slightly on the stone.
The light from her eyes gone as she stared from the distance.
“You know.. Pretty lucky, You’re probably with Ruby and Aqua, enjoying the afterlife. While I am here on earth, alone.”

“I’m always alone..” She said as she begins to reminisce about her past. How her mother walked out on her when she was 14 years old, How she was raised to grow up and take care of herself, how when she was no longer popular, managers and people she knows, wanted nothing to do with her.

How she would sit alone reading books by herself, because no one wanted to be friend. When she got to high school, she reunited and fell in love with the boy who she admired, Join an idol group and made new friends, But, that boy who she loved, dated her rival, and avoided her for a year without telling her why.

When they finally reunited once again, he died. It was just like when they were kids, they would meet once only to never see each other again. But, Kana never forgot him. Even when she said she would, she never forgot his face, his smile, and everything about him. One thing she regretted was never telling him how she felt about it and not trying harder to get closer to him. Whenever, She’ll get the chance, she would sidelined herself or drop the subject. Out of fear of being hurt and abandoned again. But, it seems doing so, only led her to more pain.

She also never truly got close to her best friend Ruby. She remembered at some point the group was falling apart. She was dealing with her own emotions, Not knowing why the boy she liked suddenly started to avoid her. While her best friend Ruby was taking new opportunities and getting popular, admittedly she was pretty jealous and wanted to take that jealousy down to her grave. But, when realizing her best friend would need help with acting and understanding her mother’s feelings, she put that jealousy on display even if it were to break her friendship. She would be willing to take it.

I was wondering who does the background vocals for the old B Komachi Ai Solo Ver. songs. It doesn’t really sound like Rie Takahashi to me but I guess she is a VA so it could just be her?

If Aqua were to accept Ruby as his destined life partner and ended up being with her...What would have been you reaction to it and thoughts about it???

Just wanted to share these albums in case people haven't heard these songs yet (aside from Revenge of B) . I just discovered these yesterday from the seiyuu's performing these songs on Oshi No Ko's youtube channel and I really recommend checking the songs out.

I've been so obsessed with Cheki Cheki Love Me. I honestly think it deserves as much love as Pop In 2. It's so goood.

When season 3 was like 2 weeks away i was counting down each day until it came out and I watched every episode the day it came out so I'ma do the same thing with the final season.

For me it was Ruby cuz I saw her and Aqua in reels and shorts, and sometimes in posts on reddit or in twitter..

I remember a while ago seeing that there was a novelization of the manga (I’m not talking about Spica or Futari no Etude, but an actual novelization of the original manga), but when i checked up to see where it was at, I found that the latest volume (Volume 3), which covered the Tokyo Blade arc, was released in March 21, 2025. It’s been over a year since the last volume and I haven’t been able to find anything to explain why that is. I haven’t found an official announcement of it going on hiatus or being cancelled, and the writer, Hano Makimi seems to have done the novelization for the SAKAMOTO DAYS (Live Action) Film, which had released on April 22, 2026. So I don’t think it’s a case of the writer not being well, although I can’t really find much on them to be sure. Does anyone know if the Manga Novelization ended with the Tokyo Blade arc? Or is the Manga Novelization just in limbo?

Did Ai love Hikaru? The DVD revealed that Ai loved Hikaru, and I also believed this before the DVD's reveal. But the main question that I sometimes had was, did Hikaru love Ai? He seemed to adore her, and he loved her so much that after her death he simply lost his marbles.

It is very interesting that Hikaru seemed to never experience a healthy relationship with anyone before meeting Ai. I don't know much about his parents, but it is evident that they were dead or simply negligent. We have a rare glimpse of Hikaru's flashback with Ai, and there he, unlike Aqua's portrayal of Hikaru, had a completely different look from Aqua. In chapter 140, Aqua plays Hikaru as if he knew that Airi was a pedophile. He says, "I know that Airi-san is simply a pedophile. This kind of behavior is disgusting."

In chapter 153, Hikaru did not seem to be as cynical as Aqua. He is a little child who has been taken advantage of. "Every day, I was burned by their lustful gazes. They kept hitting on me even though they only cared about my looks. The words "I love you" seemed like nothing but a lie. It felt like the only way for me to get someone's love was to offer up my body. Because up until then, they would be happy if I did that." Hikaru appears to be a child lacking a stable parental figure who failed to provide the unconditional love that every child deserves. This absence of support likely contributed to his vulnerability, making him an easy target for predators. Furthermore, Hikaru's experiences involved not just a single abuser; he seems to have been victimized by a total of four individuals. You can see that in chapter 153 there are multiple figures, not only one in the shadow. There are also those hands. Four hands are moving; one hand has dark nails, probably Airi's. Judging by the other hands, two of the abusers appear to be men, while there is also one female abuser.

Ai accepted Hikaru for who he was. After Airi's death, at the funeral, Hikaru was crushed by Kindaichi-san's words (seriously, he really needed to shut his damn mouth there). Hikaru wanted someone who would bear his weight. In other words, he wanted someone to understand him and love him and accept him with all his flaws and trauma. Everyone secretly wants such a person. Hikaru wanted love. Hikaru wanted genuine love and understanding. It is completely normal to desire such things, and Ai seemed to provide that kind of love for him.

But in the following panel of the manga, Hikaru and Ai are shown together in bed. It seems they engaged in a sexual relationship right after Ai hugged him (after the dreadful funeral when Hikaru asked Ai for help). It might have been their first time. Hikaru, who craved a normal love, might have come to believe that sex was a way to express one's feelings for someone.

The next panels show Hikaru and Ai smiling (from Hikaru's perspective). Hikaru says, "Ai was the only one for me, and I was the only one for her. If we continue to support each other, I will be able to bear this burden." He did not say that he wanted to bear Ai's burden. Moreover, was it not too difficult for Ai, who had her own share of trauma, to bear "this burden"? After all, Ai was just a teenage girl. Did Hikaru need Ai only to bear his burden? If it were not for Ai, let's say there was this random girl who came to know about Hikaru's trauma, and she decided to help Hikaru. Would he have loved her too? Honestly, it is hard to tell. Ai was similar to Hikaru, so there is a chance that Hikaru would not have opened up to any random girl.

In any case, Ai had this large responsibility. She wanted to love someone. She loved Hikaru. But what about Ai herself? Did she not need someone to love her too? Did she not need someone to bear her burden with her? During this brief flashback, I observed that the relationship between Ai and Hikaru appeared to be one-sided and unbalanced, characterized by Ai's love being given freely while Hikaru merely accepted it. Hikaru may have truly loved Ai, though he might have failed to show his own support for Ai. He seemed to be so immersed in his own trauma that he failed to create a safe environment for his significant other. Hikaru never seems to remember Ai struggling to live. In his flashback, he did not remember Ai opening up about her problems to him, but he rather remembers Ai in regard to his own trauma. Did Ai ever open up to him about her abusive mother? If she did not, what is the point of a relationship when one constantly opens up while the other is just there to help?

In conclusion, Ai and Hikaru really seemed to love each other. However, Hikaru needed to love himself first and accept who he was, and that is very difficult without the parental figure that is supposed to give unconditional love. Ai probably felt that there was something wrong with their relationship too.

Hey I’m making this asking for people what they have as concerns for season 4, and to vent and talk about it……but hey it’s nothing new we all have concerns about things, but I hope this post will help out.

It’s going to take a while but hey it’s still best to talk about it.

I’m not going to post for a while-(at least until season 4 to see how it went, and because of personal reasons) but I’ll keep this up here so people can talk a bit so here we are, and as always one request keep any spoilers hidden

To be honest, I'm hesitating about whether I should post it here.

I'm writing this story for two reasons: first, because I want to write a sequel to Oshi no Ko, but the fic I made might not just be about the entertainment industry, as this fic can also be considered a soft reboot or something, but it truly is a direct sequel to the Onk.

Second, I want to find my reason to write again; I've been on hiatus from writing for a few years due to stress at work, and I desired to return to writing a fanfic again, but this idea keeps coming to mind, and it's difficult to suppress it until I lose interest, so I decided to pour my idea into it and give birth to this fic. Well, I considered this fic a beta test for me.

The story starts during Chapter 166 and focuses on two main characters; of course, it's about Ruby Hoshino as an idol, and the other one will focus on my OCs named... well, for now, let's just name him Hiroto Shien... (for now...) as a bodyguard who has been tasked with protecting Ruby from harm.

As I said before, this story will not just focus on the entertainment industry; it focuses much beyond those boundaries, and the story takes a darker turn, has action elements, and has a heavy story, but there's also a light story in it too, so we might enjoy some good stuff before it gets dark.

The origin of the name of the fic title Star & Abyss might represent the two main characters I mentioned, but it goes beyond that, which I will tell you when the time comes.

I try to read Oshi no Ko again and make sure the story flows and is consistent and not off the rails, although I can't guarantee it will be 100%; I'm trying as best as I can... It's not perfect, but it's better than doing nothing. I also need to look back at the writing I made so I won't mess it up or make it too long in the next chapter by improving it, but the feedback will always be accepted (as long as everyone has to be respectful of it).

It would be greatly appreciated if an artist could help me out with a ONK tattoo design

I’m looking for a lowkey design with little to no color (red, black, white, and the greenish blue color)

I’m struggling with a design choice because I don’t want a lot of color and, personally, I think getting an anime character or eye tattooed permanently on your body is a bit silly.

So a design I’m looking for is something a fan of ONK would be able to point out, but also just conspicuous enough to look like it isn’t an anime tattoo.

Ideas/art extremely welcome also size doesn’t matter much.

For me it was the aspect of the dark side of the entertainment industry.. because before Oshi No Ko I have never experienced something about the entertainment industry in an anime and the character building of the show was peak..!!
