Hello knight people!
I have painted a couple of these awesome armigers as allied support for my 1k pt imperial guard army, having my first ever battle tomorrow and honestly I just bought these to add some much needed colour to my otherwise green army that I never planned to play but just collect and paint.
I was wondering if anyone here has used knights in a Cadian army before and can give me any pointers or tips of how best to use them.
Thanks guys

The rules are simple: What are the best things about the Detachment in question and what are the worst things about it?

Still have 2 armigers, 1 destrier, 1 castellan and 1 questoris to do.
Wanted to go for an astra affiliated knight house.
Here one with cadian scheme and another with more of a krieg scheme.
What do you think I did right and what should I work on?

So, have a question for you all, I'm actively trying to make a 3 Big and 4 Little list work atm and I'm just looking for thoughts on our little guys!
What do you think our current Armiger's could use for some help points wise, or maybe something with abilities or weapon stats? I don't think we'll be getting a new class of Ar.iger anytime soon so let's keep it realistic about the changes to our two special boys (we don't talk about the Admech adopted one)

Hey all, has anyone given thought to whether bringing in a GK Terminator Squad now, with the improved Toughness and Storm Bolters, is worth the 190pts now. I know they can't do the UppyDown, but still access to a tough distraction unit that can also take out some targets with new bolters, and lethal hits means a lot more these days.
The argument I guess is whether they are worth paying 50pts over an Armiger body, or 70pts less than a Destrier body for the options that they give us Knights that aren't really available elsewhere.

I've just started up with a hyper competitive group with a range of factions. They play duos in 800 and 1000 pts each formats.
What models/detachments/tactics would people recommend specifically with a competitive lense.
I've consistently since 5th (mostly IG and Tau) but looking to play Knights because they play obscenely slowly (8 hour games) and I want to help speed it up.

Hey everyone!
Long-time lurker, first-time poster here. I'm relatively new to actually playing 40k and have decided to jump into Imperial Knights because, well, giant stompy robots are awesome.
I've been building up my collection and putting together a few lists, but I'm still learning how to actually play the army effectively. I'm mostly going to be playing casual games with friends, but obviously I'd still like to win a few!
Here's my current collection:
1x Cerastus Knight Lancer
2x Cerastus Knight Castigator
1x Cerastus Knight Acheron
1x Knight Defender
1x Knight Gallant
1x Knight Paladin
3x Armiger Helverins
6x Armiger Warglaives
Here's the list I'm currently wanting to run:
"Size Does Matter" — 1,985 points
Imperial Knights
Freeblade Company (3 Detachment Points)
Purge the Foe — Strike Force (2,000 points)
Cerastus Knight Castigator — 380 pts
Castigator bolt cannon
Tempest warblade
Cerastus Knight Lancer — 445 pts
Cerastus shock lance
Enhancement: Bringer of Justice
Knight Defender — 410 pts (Warlord)
Conversion beam obliterator
Phosphor blaster
Plasma executor
Twin incendine combustor
Enhancement: Hunter's Eye
Knight Gallant — 375 pts
Reaper chainsword
Thunderstrike gauntlet
Enhancement: Sanctuary
Knight Paladin — 375 pts
Rapid-fire battle cannon
Reaper chainsword
Total: 1,985/2,000 points
Now, before everyone tells me to bring more Armigers, I know! 😂
I'm fully aware that running five big Knights probably isn't the most competitive way to play. But there's just something hilarious about putting five massive Knights on the table and telling my opponent to deal with it.
That said, I would still like to make the list as effective as possible.
A few things I'd love some advice on:
How would you approach playing a five-big-Knight list? Any particular deployment or positioning tips?
What are some common mistakes new Knights players make that I should avoid?
How do you handle objectives and scoring when you have so few models?
Are there any changes you'd make to my list using the models I already own?
If I wanted to put together a more balanced or competitive 2,000-point list from my collection, what would you recommend?
I'll primarily be playing against Dark Angels, Grey Knights, Tyranids, and World Eaters, along with whatever else my friends decide to throw at me.
I'm not looking to win tournaments or anything. I just want to have fun, get better at the game, and occasionally watch a giant robot absolutely flatten something.
Any tips, tricks, strategies, or general advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance, and praise the Omnissiah!

I've got a sizeable Knights army (about 3,000 points) but haven't done any transfers because I've not wanted to use the codex-specific houses. I've been cooking up some design ideas, but would really like someone who understands the lore and can produce transfers to help out.
I found a company a while back and was talking to the dude, but I didn't have clarity on what I wanted just yet...and now I've lost the contact.
Any suggestions on companies that make transfers and will work with you on design?
