In my opinion, if and when Dorn comes back to the setting. He should be the ONLY person that kills Abbadon...here me out...Abbodon killed Sigismund ( with help from the Chaos gods ) but Dorn doesn't know this. Dorn comes back and finds out and crashes out!!! Takes the only fuckers crazy enough to put in the work ( Black Templars ) and they commence to walk the dog with the black legion, ultimately having a showdown with Abbadon...oh at this point Dorn has the Emperors Talons and Abbadon The talons of Horus....what say you???

Will do the lights and attempt some OSL at some point

But I think your 40k aesthetic is a little chopped and you guys basically have no characters (because GW has sidelined you for some reason).

It’s a shame because I really like your 30k look and you used to have so many great characters!

So I guessing I’m asking what draws you for this faction? I really wanna like it but I’m struggling committing to it.

Captain forgot his red helmet, was gonna paint over it but I love the way the yellow turned out - is that annoying for a opponent ?

I've been building my Imperial Fists army for 1.5 years and I'm super proud of what I've accomplished so far.

I’m playing my first 2,000-point game with this army against my Girlfriends orks tomorrow.

The army mainly consists of the Armageddon and Iron Halo Strike Forces. I’m not quite done with these yet.

A few of the units were random gifts from my girlfriend—like the Dreadnought and Vindicator from eBay, and the Outriders as a Christmas present.

I managed to grab myself a box of two drop pods and I'm curious what would be the best way to implement these and what units go best with them

One of my First imperial Fist. Since then i changed a lot in my recipe.

Hello brothers! I just finish painting my first batch of imperial fists for 30k and I’m wondering what is the lore accurate look of the sergeant helmet??? I have seen some that are red with an white line going from top to bottom, some just yellow with an red line going from top to bottom and some with just a normal red helmet with no plume.

I understand red helmets became a thing because of the ultramarines and was codex compliant for sergeants but what is the correct look for a sergeant at let’s say the siege of terra before the first founding?

Almost finished with my ballistus dreadnought, any recommendations for how to paint the big arm cannon?

Do you get to re-roll hit of 1 if the unit is entrenched? This means Tor’s and Darnarh’s units always are re-rolling hit rolls of 1? I see the keyword entrenched is used in a few strategem…

Can someone explain it to me like I’m an idiot (I am)?

First proper marines army, hoping for some advice on the list before I pull the trigger on buying the rest of the models, any feedback welcome, thanks!

What do you all consider “Essential Reading” for the Imperial Fists?

I’ve recently fallen in love with Royal Dorn and his sons after listening to the 40K Lorecast on them, and Dorn skyrocketed his way to my favorite loyalist primarch after learning about his role in the Heresy and the Scouring.

Detachments:
Devastator brethren
Terminator storm force
Tacticus firestorm force

I’m gonna use “Purge the foe”. Thank you in advance.

Hey yall, i an looking at starting my second army and I wanted to make a "proxy" army(mainly just named/important characters) for either Carcharodons or the Minotaurs. I have come to the decision that if I do minotaurs I would want them to use the imperial fist rules. Seeing as while not confirmed I believe they are a successor of the fists. That mixed with I feel like dorn will be the next primarch released(probably delusion).

So im reaching out to get experienced players opinions on what should a list look like at 1000 to 2000 along with detachments. Or maybe some good suggestions on first purchases.

Hello all, this is my first post here. I am looking for any advice or tips for my list that I have created. Let me know if I should move characters around, swap them out or completely just change my list. Anything helps. I have yet to play test this list but I just put it together for fun, and wanted to keep the theme of the Heavy Bois.

Note: I wanted Tor and the Aggressors to ride in the Repulsor but they can’t with the Apothecary attached.

As of right now I have Tor with the heavy intercessors, Apothecary with the aggressors, LT with bladeguard and eradicators going in the impulsar. I know my opponent will have a good chunk of terminators, abbadon and a daemon prince. Wondering if I should with Tor with aggressors and apothecary to heavy intercessors? Appreciate y’all!
