I first started playing hunt April 2021 till September 2024 - 1750 hours

Took a break till the Start of Road to Hell event, where you were able to make so much money, that I could affort to play Nitro nearly every game.

Hi everyone, I’m a new player with the PS+ and I really like the game ! But I have a question.

I’m playing in duo with my friend, and after 3 hours of play, we didn’t die once and we managed to walk away with the objectif every single time. In case we do some kills and after 2 or 3 persons, nobody is shooting or running on the final boss during the rest of the game.

So I wanted to know, is it normal the game is so easy at the beginning or we are very lucky ?
Because the game is really fun, but we won every time for now, We're definitely doing it on purpose shooting and running around to make noise and draw a crowd. By the way, I don’t know if it’s PlayStation’s lobbys but people are shooting as soon as the game begins.. it’s weird ?

This was such an awful idea for a challenge. I've never seen so much damn Concertina Arrow spam in over 1k hours of Hunt.

It just incentivises an otherwise generally unpopular and annoying kind of playstyle. To be clear, I don't blame the players too much, it's an understandable way to try and finish the challenge quickly. It just sucks the fun out of the game for everyone else not locked in the Concertina den.

I started playing recently and just choose to do what I call a goblin run (Nothing But a Gun a Knife and two med kits to get as much shit as I can, and if possible win) and got this Gun from a Hunter I killed, Is the icon there because Is a scavanged ítem or something Like that?

Crytek please fix

Played about 12 or 13 matches. 9 straight without a kill, hit players, just unable to kill anyone. In all of those 9 matches, I was one-tapped. The last one, the first death was via a kill trap.

I also jumped on (with the intent) to try and do the bloodskin interrupt jump challenge. Never found or fought the boss one single time.

High 5, low 6 on console is just a miserable hellscape.

do you think it would be possible to make one? would the wire be springy enough to expand in a big space? would it have to be much larger than in the game? how much would it weigh? everyday I think about this question

guys: i dont wanted to whine or anything, for me the only thing is that the math doesnt check out. maybe i miss something.

Used to play years ago, not wanting to brag but I was pretty good at it, usually playing solo and getting out with bounties every other match or so.

Adult life happened, and now I'm back and getting absolute served at every match. Every round is full of other 6 stars and no matter how much I'm struggling and dying I don't seem to be getting out of the 6 stars.

People out there with insane strats, like throwing a fire bomb followed by a quick dynamite so it can explode in my face before I can run.

Yesterday I died to a guy that just sat outside the compound hiding, and sending a swarm of bettles that made my character suffer of cancer, cholera and food poison all at once, before I could heal, another beetle was already at my face.

Anyway, I wish my rank would go down after years of not playing, or at least after dying so many times, there is a lot of cool new stuff in the game that I need to learn, but at 6 stars it's extra challenging. No way out other than through I guess.

Personally my average / go-to loadout often ends up at like 1000-1250 ish

As you can see I was lost for words

I was playing solo vs trio with a 4,5* match MMR on average with a good 1.56 KD and I often got out alive from matches. Sometimes I reached even 5,5* team MMR as a solo, it was hard, but I enjoyed it a lot. But currently I'm on a big losing streak for over a month now. For the past 2–3 weeks, I'm on 2.5* team MMR. Suddenly I miss a lot of my shots, I don't have the confidence I had before and I generally feel that I've got a lot worse all of a sudden. The worst part is I die in most of the matches I enter from the first enemy team I happen to encounter. Always trio rushes with a shotgun or a random headshot from 60 meter away from a 1,5* new player with something silly...

Tried a lot of loadouts, shotguns, rifles and snipers too, but nothing works. Tried other tactics like only go for the bounty or go for enemy hunters by third partying, tried to do some sneaky ambushes but nothing helps.

Please don't think that I focus too much on numbers alone. I wrote it to describe the context of the situation. If I could get some good matches even in this bracket I wouldn't be here complaining and asking for help, but here we are....

I got a couple of dlc and the battle pass since I like the vibes.

Wanted to get some other hunter skins I liked, but like what's the point in having 6 hunter skins.

Should I just keep my blood bonds for the next battle pass?
