I’ve noticed from watching streamers playing on PC that when they pull up dark sight with the Burgess that they don’t have to do the “flip up” animation upon exiting. On console whenever I pull up dark sight with the Burgess I need to go through that flipping animation again. Which way is intended?

After about 20 matches where game consistently spanned me on the other side of the map, I managed to kill 4 hunters and fight Nervesuck in peace... 0/1 after interrupting 3 jump atacks with a Spear throw (He kneeled to jump, i threw, he stunned). WHAT else is needed? (Pic is unrelated to how crytech balances things)

My batteries die or controller disconnects for whatever reason and it requires a game restart in order to resume play. Clicking 'A' does nothing. Meanwhile the controller is fully functional on the greater Xbox interface. It's just fucked. This has screwed me several times in the last few days.

Used to play years ago, not wanting to brag but I was pretty good at it, usually playing solo and getting out with bounties every other match or so.

Adult life happened, and now I'm back and getting absolute served at every match. Every round is full of other 6 stars and no matter how much I'm struggling and dying I don't seem to be getting out of the 6 stars.

People out there with insane strats, like throwing a fire bomb followed by a quick dynamite so it can explode in my face before I can run.

Yesterday I died to a guy that just sat outside the compound hiding, and sending a swarm of bettles that made my character suffer of cancer, cholera and food poison all at once, before I could heal, another beetle was already at my face.

Anyway, I wish my rank would go down after years of not playing, or at least after dying so many times, there is a lot of cool new stuff in the game that I need to learn, but at 6 stars it's extra challenging. No way out other than through I guess.

Been playing for about a week since it came to PS plus and I have figured out the ultimate meta.

If within the first 5 mins my team are shooting guns, making noise and acting like their IQ is in the single digits - I just leave them to die.

I hang back, wait for them to run straight into a well co ordinated team and instantly die. Then i just take what loot i can get and make for the exit 🤷‍♂️

I really like the concept of the game.. and i understand ill probably die plenty. But i want to understand what all is actually lost/kept on death. I understand loadout have a cost, does that mean i have to extract successfully to earn enough for said loadouts? Or do i earn money either way? (Like at a reduced amout). I want to get into the game, but i dont have much time to ay normally and id rather not get invested in a game that i wont feal like im progressing in. Sorry if the questions are dumb, im not sure how to get my questions across well.
