Question Question about boobs

It’s not about vaginas this time. I once saw this whole collection of photos of different vaginas in this subreddit because I was not sure if mine was normal but it very much is. But now I’m questioning my boobs because every time I see a sculpture or a photo of boobs it’s like these super big nipples? Is there a collection of different types of boobs too? Because theirs look like it is like 7 cm wide if you’d pull a straight line through it.

Mine is like 2cm wide if you’d do that!

Not that I don’t like how they look, but it kinda makes me feel like my boobs never grew since I was 13😭💔 (i also have small boobs, 75B in EU size)

Is this normal? 👀 Cervicitis from too much passion 😅

I have cervicitis, my cervix got busted last week very hard 😅 and the pain has been quite bad at times, like cramps, but is slowly getting better.
The main beating up happened last Wednesday with my husband and a dildo, not an insanely large one, I’d say an average sized one tbf, but he was hitting tf outta my cervix yall.
I did to urgent care btw, all negatives for STI and Bacterial infection, it’s just beat tf up and needs rest which I didn’t give because I did in fact put something up there three nights ago and regretted it the next day which prompted my urgent care visit 💀
I have been worried about it though, she brought up potential endometriosis, and I should get imaging but all the places I’ve called don’t have availability until the new year, but it is getting better which makes me feel better. I had never hurt like this before in my life, and I was a young hoe who semi regularly had that thing beat in 💀
There was one express clinic, I called three times and left a vm and they never called back for me to make an appt. I do hope it is just sore and goes back to normal, but I’m scared this can happen again or may become a continuous problem. Some of the pain has radiated up into my left ovary area, I have a diagnosis of PMOS and hx of ovarian cyst ruptures too.

Advice Needed Pain when inserting boric acid

I have my first ever gynecologist appointment scheduled for November, but that's kinda far away and I just need a general opinion. After my period, I usually insert boric acid.

While inserting, there's a thing I can feel with the top of my finger and it's squishy. It isn't a sharp pain, but it's kinda like a sensitive pain? And inserting the pill kinda hurts. Google says this is my cervix, but I honestly need to study a lot more about my own anatomy.

I guess my question is, is it normal to have some sort of pain/sensitivity if you come into contact with it while inserting a boric acid pill? Or is this something I should definitely bring up in November? I feel like I can't trust Google results anymore.

Edit: Considering I also have pain when trying to insert a tampon, could this be vaginismus?

Rant 🤬 Worried about a bump inside vagina

I picked "rant" but it's less of an angry rant and more of a "vent." I've already seen a doctor (& have follow ups scheduled) so not necessarily looking for advice, moreso need support. Literally just acknowledgement would be nice: it doesn't feel like something I can share with a lot of people

Heads up, I am a transgender man and use he/him pronouns.

Almost two weeks ago, my boyfriend (21 cis male) and I (21 trans male) were having sex. He was fingering me, and he stopped to inform me: "Hey, babe, I don't want to freak you out, but you have a bump." We've been dating for 3 years and he knows my body pretty well, so I was concerned.

When he touched it, I couldn't feel anything. When I touched it, I also didn't feel anything. The bump is completely painless. It's on my right side (left if you were looking at me) and about knuckle deep. We have sex frequently enough that I know it's new, but couldn't say it wasn't there, say, a week or two before then.

As a trans man, I've had some shitty experiences with doctors, and so I waited to see my primary care doctor who I trusted. Ultimately, she canceled and I got a different doctor at her office, who was super super kind and did everything right.

She did some swabs with a speculum, then did a digit test. Ran blood tests and some urine tests as well.

She said based on her assessment, the bump was too hard to be an infection, and was probably either a sebaceous cyst, or a dermoid cyst. I was referred to imaging for a transvaginal ultrasound, and a gynecologist.

An infection isn't great, but like... I would almost have preferred that because then I at least know what it is and can go home with a treatment plan.

Now I'm left here just... Anxious about what it is. I know a lot of cysts are benign, but I also know some aren't. So that scares me. The lack of any other symptoms doesn't really assure me because I found it so early. But I also know that because I have caught it early, that things will probably be fine. They'll remove it, and it'll probably (hopefully) go away. But I feel like the only appropriate risk of cancer to ever have is 0%. And right now, it's not 0%.

I scheduled my appointment for imaging and the earliest they could get me in (across 10 different centers) is October 27th. I put myself on the wait-list for cancellations, and I'm really hoping for something earlier. I know I waited for this appointment longer than I needed to, I probably could have gone to urgent care (and I should have scheduled it way before I did anyway) but I was really hoping it was something easily identifiable.

I work retail and had to start my shift after that appointment. The first hour, I couldn't think about anything else. After charging my phone a bit, I put on some reddit stories to numb my brain. I know the next week and a half is gonna have to be me distracting myself, and that's fairly easy with work and grad school, and my amazing boyfriend, but like... I don't want to do anything else until I know 100% that it's benign.

Onion smelling vagina GONE

Sooo I have amazing news for all the people who have been searching for solutions to try for their weird smelling AND tasting vaginas.

I have spent years trying to find new things to try to solve my problem, but I’m telling you…nothing worked. I truly tried everything to get rid of the smell, it just got even worse and i had to break up with my partner of 6 years because I was so ashamed. (Ofc there were other reasons too, but this was one of the main ones)

So I always suspected that the onion smell and taste was from my sweat glands and not my actual discharge because the taste came from my labias and not from inside(trust me I checked it everyday I was so desperate). But that didn’t make sense because I’ve never had body odor on my armpits or anywhere else.
But I still tried things that help reduce body odor.
After I tried every supplement and topical thing ever and didn’t see any improvement, I gave up for a while after years of trying to solve it.

I’m going to get to the point, you just need a little backstory before I do.

So 3 years ago I was pretty overweight, I was diagnosed with PCOS of course and insulin resistance. I changed my lifestyle, I lost 29kgs, still feeling like shit, found out i was gluten intolerant.
Started eating gluten free about 2 years ago, my health improved since. But bc of my insulin problems and bc of my hunger management problems my lifestyle change’s main focus was eating high protein meals. I ate whole foods, not the store bought stuff with the added protein.
And even though I lost the weight and my insulin went back to normal, I’m still eating high protein meals, I just got used to it and I love it.

But then 2 months ago I started connecting the dots.
The smell started when I was like 2-3 months into my lifestyle change and high protein meals. I had no odor or taste before that ever.
So I thought I would try to reduce my protein intake a bit to see if that’s the problem and I ate like 7-8 eggs a day in different forms so I thought it was a good idea to start there and cut them out.

Well let me tell u i cut them out and in 2 weeks, the smell and taste COMPLETELY disappeard. Like it’s nowhere to be found.
I also tracked it, and even though I haven’t eaten eggs in like 2 months now, my protein intake is the same, because the loss of volume from the eggs are naturally replaced with meat in my diet.
So the protein intake is not the problem.

THE EGGS ARE THE PROBLEM.

A week ago I was still amazed by this and didn’t believe myself because what an unusual problem to have, I’ve never heard of anyone who got body odor because of eggs.
So I was at my friend’s house and i couldn’t eat anything else for breakfast so she made me 2 eggs.
A few hours later I could smell the onion smell coming back when I went to pee it was so pungent. I had a huge panic attack about it cuz now I was worried I’m stuck with it again.
But then I went home and it disappeared again after 2 days.

So try this for a few weeks. Give those eggs away to someone and give yourself a chance to feel confident again❤️

Advice Needed I have deep issues with sexual desire and self pleasure. I could use some kind words

Just have lot of religious shame and sexuality issues :(

I’m 31 and do not have a healthy relationship with my desire.
Whenever I masturbate I feel so immensely disgusting. I already do it rarely. In my teens it was a habit then I stopped for years (8+). Then it came back gradual but I try to not do it to much only once a month or so.. sometimes more

I have resorted to sometimes hurting myself (in small ways like digging nails into my palm) to feel okay and “clean” again. Then I feel guilty about doing that because that’s also not allowed

I have constant ocd spirals about it and cannot get it together

A therapist might help but that feels so embarassing and unbearable right now

I don’t even have toxic relationship with religion. With everything else I’m able to be normal and moderate. It’s just this one thing that is tied into so much fear and shame. Probably something to do with my childhood

I would just like some kind words or advice (other than therapy) that could help

Advice Needed Odd Lump

I (32F) noticed an odd lump about 5 days ago on the inside of my lips, next to the clitoris. I immediately thought oh I have I cyst, and had my partner(30F) look at it to see what she suspected. It was about a 1/4 of a pea size on day one. We both were pretty sure it was a cyst. By day 2, it grew to about the size of a pea, and we were still pretty certain it was just cyst. Day 3, it got a lot harder and grew to about the size of a blueberry and became a little more sore. It was smooth and spherical. Day 4 the shape changed and it became a little more irregular but still smooth. When you look at it it’s white on the surface and not hot to the touch. Today, it remained the same size but it now has a little irritation in the skin, just a little redness, looks more like a sore, but it is still hard under the skin. I wanted to wait until a week has passed to not overreact by going to the doctor right away but it being hard and irregular has me worried, even though it’s not necessarily painful unless prodded. From what I can see it’s not in the right place to be a Bartholin Cyst and I don’t have any STDs. Any thoughts on what this may be or advice if you’ve had something similar?

Thank you in advance!

Bartholin Cyst

Backstory had a lump for over a year no pain or anything came up after I had my daughter eventually got it checked was told it was a cyst and I decided to get it lanced. Within hours of having it done catheter came out phoned gyn n they said it was fine. Fast forward 2 weeks I’ve got a little bump on my labia now I’m panicking is this the cyst filling back up or is it still just swelling and I’m recovering. Everything is pretty soft no hard lumps maybe a little bump if anything, no real pain. I’m just looking for advice as no one I know has ever had anything like this so want to know if it’s normal or if it’s coming back again.
My rational brain is saying it’s swelling and will take a while for everything to go back to normal. My anxiety brain is saying it’s back and the small pain I’m feeling is not from the little incision it’s infected now please someone calm my brain

Abnormal bleeding opinions?

Hi there i came to seek some advice. For starters I have PMOS so abnormal cycles is just something that sort of happens however something even more strange and abnormal that has never happened to me before is occurring.

I have not had a period since May and have confirmed I am not pregnant. However I am not unfamiliar with missed periods since I have pmos. Back in September I started spotting and having some light cramping, I thought nothing of it other than "Oh my period is coming back this month," the spotting lasted for a day and only happened when I'd wipe. A few days went by and my husband and I have sex, the spotting returned shortly after we finished. I thought again maybe my period was coming. However this off and on spotting has been going on for a month now with light cramping off to the right side of my pelvis. I went to the doctor and they did a pelvic exam and said they didn't feel anything abnormal but would schedule me an ultrasound to double check. Its been over a week, ultrasound is tomorrow. I've had more off and on spotting sometimes heavier. An increase in discharge and light cramping with the occasional sharp pain in my right side.

Any ideas on what might be happening?

Advice Needed Confused and lost with symptoms

Hi guys! Hope everyone is having a great day :) 31F - I started developing issues with my vagina last year in September. From antibiotic use I was usually on them 2-3 times a month due to lung issues & Utis

I had candida galbarta, for over 3 months got treated with micafungin. And then it went away for seven months. I still had severe inflammation anyway. I went to PT for seven months as well. I also go to a chiropractor three times a week. To help with hip flexors. As I have a hypertonic pelvic floor.

Fast-forward everything started feeling normal for once maybe for about a month. Then all of a sudden I got BV. Got treated for it. Then I got it again was treated for it. Then in July my candida came back. Then went away in August.

Then I found out in September that I had ureplasma. They tested me last year for it and it was negative, so I’m unsure how long I’ve even had it for.

But I’m still dealing with severe inflammation most of this year. I got treated for the ureplasma. My symptoms were pretty much 75% gone and then the last couple days my symptoms feel like it’s back to how it was in the first place.

I’m just really super frustrated. I even got my hormones checked because I wanted to make sure that I don’t know if my hormones can affect it. All my hormones came back normal.

I went back to ID. The real issue is is it’s inflamed where I have to pee and I can’t stand it. I can’t even wear normal clothes and it’s hard for me to even sit down. I can’t have intercourse. I haven’t even been able to do anything with my husband for a year and it really sucks.

I guess when I’m trying to ask is I don’t know what it could possibly be. I don’t know if it’s because I was also on nystatin suppositories for a very long time. And I was also taking them consecutively because I had candida in July and then in Sept again when I was on antibiotics for ureplasma.

And then ID pretty much told me that I should pretty much stop all of my medication’s and all of my probiotics because she’s thinking that something is causing this. And telling me that most of the symptoms I have currently right now probably have nothing to do with the infections. Because I was already treated.

So if it has nothing to do with the infections then I’m just wondering what should I do??

I asked if there was any way to test my micro biome just to see if there’s just something in there that we’re just not seeing. I told her I wanted to take an envy test. And then she told me. “ most of those tests are bullshit because they just want money from you and you have to pay extra for all this other stuff” I still wanna get it done anyway to see cause. I’m just genuinely curious and I feel like if it doesn’t hurt to try. I’m pretty much desperate at this point.

Anyway, sorry for this long post. I just want my vagina to be normal lol. But I will stop taking my suppositories and see if it actually makes a difference.

I’m also on diazepam suppositories as well from having the hypertonic pelvic floor. I still do my stretches at home as well. Even after not being in PT anymore. I also got my thyroid checked, and that was normal. I got my ferritin results and it was 35 and it was in the normal range

So she’s making a pharmacist call me today to discuss what probiotics I’m on

These are the ones I’m on
The bottle with the sun on it 50 million
The femdolphis one at 10 million
Happy V prebiotic probiotic 50? Million- I usually will rotate these.
D mannnose twice a day

Azo pill ( my urologist said that it was OK to take it daily if I was having inflammation)
Azo pill urinary defensive with the NSAID in it. So I can somewhat pee throughout the day ( I only take this twice per week)

Symptoms 👩🏻‍⚕️ Years of fishy vaginal odor and burning, now with dryness and bladder symptoms with 5 OB/GYNs and still no answers

I’m 18, and I’ve been dealing with unexplained vaginal symptoms since around 2017. I’m honestly exhausted and discouraged after seeing five OB/GYN providers without getting answers.
How my symptoms have developed over the years:
2017: It started with a persistent fishy vaginal odor and burning after urination. The odor used to be constant and strong enough that other people could sometimes smell it when sitting or standing near me. Sometimes, when I sat down, there would be a noticeable fishy odor in the air, and I could smell it lingering in the bathroom.
After 2020: I started experiencing vaginal dryness and very little natural lubrication (this wasn’t an issue when the symptoms first began).
2024: I started having difficulty fully emptying my bladder, and sometimes I feel like I have to strain.

My symptoms:
● Intermittent fishy vaginal odor.
● Vaginal dryness and very little natural lubrication even with arousal.
● Pain with insertion and during Q-tip testing.
● Frequent & Burning after urination/Cervical pain
● Difficulty fully emptying my bladder.

Over time, new symptoms have developed, and I’m worried because this has been going on for years.

Treatments I’ve tried:
Monistat (Tried 7 years ago, was hard to insert.)
Fluconazole for yeast symptoms.
Flagyl (metronidazole) for two separate 7-day courses.
These treatments cleared up the yeast symptoms I was experiencing at the time, but they did not resolve my baseline symptoms that I’ve had since the beginning, particularly the fishy odor and burning after urination.

I’ve now seen five OB/GYN providers. My examinations and infection tests have reportedly been normal. At my most recent appointment, the provider collected another vaginal swab to test for BV and yeast and took a urine sample. She recommended boric acid suppositories for odor control and gave me a brochure for an oral supplement.
I have never been sexually active.
I’m not looking for anyone to diagnose me online. I’m hoping to hear from people who have experienced something similar, especially anyone whose tests repeatedly came back negative or whose symptoms gradually changed over time.
Did you eventually find out what was causing your symptoms?
What type of specialist helped you?
Were there specific tests or evaluations that made a difference?
I’m planning to continue seeking medical care, but after so many appointments without answers, I feel really discouraged. I’d appreciate hearing about others’ experiences, especially if you eventually found a provider who took your concerns seriously.

Advice Needed 3 months post op bartholin gland excision and bleeding?

After some recurring bartholin cysts I went for the surgery to have the gland removed three months ago. It was brutal and I had a hematoma burst along with an infection around the 3 week mark. Now I’m back to being sexually active and the pain is minimal. Normally I don’t bleed but after the last time I’ve been having some pretty substantial bleeding for days that I know is not my period. There’s a hole that seems big enough to fit my index finger into that’s been there since the surgery. My gyno has been pretty dismissive of my concerns so I’ve been putting off calling. (For example the infection was still present and they wouldn’t give me a second round of antibiotics so my body fought off what was left of the infection). Is the bleeding now cause for concern or even a valid reason to be seen? I feel guilty because I was sexually active so it feels like this is my fault anyways and I should just deal with it. I don’t know I’m just scared of being called a frequent flyer again after the last time (I was calling once a week about the infection because I was terrified). I’m 22 for context and have a hard time advocating for myself, it took me months of pain to even be seen about this.

I shower every morning. After a few h i feel disgusting again.

My anatomy makes it so the pee goes EVERYWHERE. Every little crevice. To my thighs. Never seem to get it off completely when wiping.

I don't wanna have to shower everytime after using the toilet just to feel clean.

Do you have any miracle tips? I'm desperate.

Medications 🌡 SSRI's causing dryness?

Hey! So, ive had my anti-depressants changed temporarily due to an inavailability in my normal prescription and unfortunately, ive been put onto an SSRI ive been on before and had some unfortunate symptoms with.

When i was on this same medication before (were talking maybe 7 years ago-ish?) It, unfortunately, made it impossible for me to finish, which sucked but i could deal with it as i could still enjoy sex to some extent.

I havent tried having sex since starting on this medication again, thankfully, my partner is really understanding with how my medication affects me and is happy to let me take as long as i need to prepare but, ive noticed this time around, im having a lot of issues with dryness down there.

To the point where things are getting a little irritated, even just normal, not-horny, every day wetness is an issue and today, i noticed a microtear around my opening. I havent been penetrated or penetrated myself with anything recently but, i felt the sting when my finger grazed over it when i was cleaning myself in the shower and now, im worried that because im not as lubricated as normal, it might be causing these microtears?

Unfortunately, i cant change back to my old medication just yet, been told theres still a few months of waiting before they anticipate having enough supply to issue prescriptions again but, does anyone have any tips on how to deal with it? I dont really wanna go just putting anything down there when theres already something up with it and, knowing my luck, making it worse.

Medications 🌡 UTI hell

I know this isn’t technically vagina related but it’s still my down there area so I figured this would be the place to ask. I’ve had a reoccurring UTI since Sep 9th. I’ve gone to urgent care 3 times for medicine and the hospital once for medicine but I haven’t gone to an actual doctor.. I need advice on a few things 🥹 (for information the UTI comes back maybe 2 or 3 days after finishing antibiotics)

  1. Are any supplements good for preventing another UTI after antibiotics? People have been telling me about AZO products like the cranberry supplements, the dual protection biotics, or the D-Mannose supplements. I’m just not sure if any of these would actually help stop the UTI from coming back. (This is my main question. I know it won’t CURE a UTI but will any of this actually prevent it?)

  2. What kind of doctor should I see for this? My mom is telling me I should see an OBGYN but others are telling me I need a urologist and my aunt (who i live with) just wants to take me to a primary care doctor. Idk who to go to.

  3. Finally does anyone have any idea why this is happening to me? Other than this I’m very healthy, I don’t do anything sex wise at all, and I’m a very clean person down there. I don’t understand why I have this problem but people that have sex often or don’t clean well down there don’t have this.

Sorry if this is a ramble I’m just really at a loss :/

Is this normal?

White skin around opening of vagina and tears?

Help - I’ve stopped being able to finish during sex!

Hi everyone, sorry SUCH a long post, but I’d love some advice here. Over the last couple of months I’ve increasingly found it harder to finish during sex and recently haven’t been able to finish at all. I think this is clearly partly mental but the longer it goes on, the more it reinforces in my brain and becomes even harder.

Before I talk about sex with my parter, I should say I’m also struggling to finish by myself (tho, I haven’t tried that often). But before this, I’ve always been able to finish (especially with a vibrator) but not sure if I often FINISH if that makes sense. Like I always get that climax feeling/pressure but often it feels too intense to keep it going and I’m often left wondering whether that was a full orgasm, or if there’s another level that I didn’t unlock.

In terms of sex with my partner, we’ve been together for over 3 years, live together, we completely love each other and I’m happy with him and our sex life (except this issue). We typically have sex 3-5 a week (give or take). I used to finish most of the time (75%+) - but similar to finishing with myself, sometimes my orgasms we’re ‘small’ and I wondered if there was another ‘level’ to it. But honestly I often found the orgasms better with him than I could do by myself.

He is usually generous and really wants me to enjoy myself. He sometimes can be a bit lazy with foreplay, though not often, and I usually actually find it easier to finish through penetration than when he goes down or fingers me. Sometimes his technique for fingering/going down is great, but sometimes it really doesn’t work/he’s in the wrong spot but the issue is 1) when he’s in the right spot then I can’t help but squirm and move too much that he loses it and/or 2) I feel like every time I finish it’s from a slightly different angle or position or rhythm (including with penetration) so it’s really hard for both of us to know what’s going to work from one time to the next. And I think personally the inconsistency in what will make me finish makes me super frustrated in the moment which of course kinda ruins my chances of getting there.

As I said recently I just haven’t been able to finish at all. I frequently ‘almost’ get there, but it’s not even the ‘small’ orgasms anymore it’s pretty much just edging at best. Neither of us can think of anything that’s obviously changed. The only thing I can think of is we’ve both had a super busy few months with lots of work stress and not enough sleep etc. We usually have sex right before we sleep and when it’s already past our bedtime so we’re already tired and I’m then stressing that I’m going to not have enough sleep before work etc. I did say we should try to make an effort to do it earlier/not right before bed but it’s hard to actually do it ‘organically’ without ‘scheduling’ it when we’re also trying to do dinner/gym/chores etc.

Not sure if it’s relevant but the only other thing I can think of is I got an IUD several months ago. My problem started more recently but not sure if the hormones are doing something. Also with the IUD, he sometimes finishes quicker without the condoms before I can finish, but most of the time he still lasting long enough that I should finish. To compound this, the more I’m visibly/audibly I enjoying myself, the more likely he is to finish quicker bc he finds it hot, so when I start getting close in the back of my mind, I feel like there’s a countdown. Though with condoms if I hadn’t finished before he did, he would usually go back to foreplay until I did, but now (sorry for TMI) after he finishes in me, he’s not getting going back down/fingering with him cum everywhere lol (and I can’t really blame the man for that one lol).

Only other thing that maybe contributing is I have adhd - I’m medicated and have been our entire relationship but I think it’s making it harder to stop my mind wandering and focus on finishing (especially at night when meds have worn off). Obviously not a new thing but not sure if it’s randomly worse in this area recently.

Sorry for SUCH a long post. Was hoping extra context would be useful but I would really appreciate any advice you have and help a gal out of this orgasm-rut!!! Thank you!!
