Kind of prefer this over VATS, also how did that thing get inside the building?

So on the xbox store I just noticed the fallout games and their dlc are on sale until October 23rd, the date the bombs dropped in the fallout universe. I was thinking how cool would it be if we got one of the remasters shadow dropped on that day? Kinda how we got oblivion last year. Not to be taken to serious, just a cool thought i had even though unlikely.

Hello,
I am a student researcher at an university in the Midwest, and I am doing psychological research on video games including Fallout 4! I was wondering if you all would be able to help me find out the following information:
Thank you for your help :)

I haven't played new vegas in a while and was thinking about playing it again
I was wondering if there are any good modpacks that will run on a pretty low end laptop

I've played a little of New Vegas but it never really grabbed me. I mostly play JRPGs, mostly ones with predefined characters. So, what would be the best starting point for me in the series?

I have NO idea what is happening. I just loaded it up today and it was like this. No new mods, no config changes, nothing changed and everytime I load, the game is this..frozen void. If i open the pip-boy, it goes back to normal...but then i close it and the void returns. already verified the files but everything is fine. Help?

Now that I realize fallout 3 on steam no longer has achievements I wanted to mod it so I can play both of the games using the same character but I have a few questions about it.
How hard is it to install for someone who has only ever used automatic installers? Is it going to require intense file manipulation?
I know that it runs on FNV and I know fallout New Vegas turns off achievements when you open up the console. However I want to get myself infinite carry weight as I despise carry weight systems in game as I think they needlessly slow the game down. I think they're fine and survival games but in RPGs by making you have to offload every dungeon especially if you're a hoarder like me. Anyways I wanted to ask if I increase my carry weight then close out of the game and reopen it will achievements be re-enabled and I have more carry weight?
Will TTW mess with mods on F3 or FNV?
That is all.

I didn't know this was even a thing. I'm all for it though. 😄 (Looks sick with a flashlight under it)

I’m trying to get Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel working on my Windows 11 PC, but I can’t get past the startup screen.
The game initially gave me a fatal error involving BOS_HR.exe and an abnormal program termination message.
I found a workaround that lets the game launch in windowed mode, but the window is a small square with the wrong resolution. Whenever I try to change the resolution, the game crashes again.
I’ve also tried editing bos.cfg to change the display settings, but the game now freezes on the opening screen with the rotating planet before crashing and closing completely.
My PC specs:
Windows 11
Ryzen 7 5800X
NVIDIA RTX 3060
24 GB RAM
2560 × 1440 monitor
I’ve tried changing the display settings and using the windowed workaround, but nothing has fully resolved the issue.
Has anyone experienced this problem and found a reliable fix? I’d really like to play the game at the correct resolution without it freezing or crashing on startup.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I know her dog is on its way out but for her to just chop its head off is crazy. When I heard the dog whimper and realized she killed it I was actually shocked

You literally have a dispenser machine who is capable of sell every object in existence after creating it from the nothing itself
And nobody thinked to take one of that machines and modify for dispense G.E.C.K's? With that artifact produced in massive quantities the wasteland would be restored from the ashes in a couple of years!

I want to replay Fallout 4 on PC with mods that improve gameplay, graphics, atmosphere, performance and so on, but honestly there are so many options and I don't know which ones to go with. I'd really appreciate any recommendations.

I have to talk about it. I don't know why it pisses me off.
It's regarding with the world building.
Nuclear technology that seems to defy the laws of physics? Big deal. Unrealistic science has been a thing since before my grandmother was born. Plus, it's cool to have energy weapons and flying robots.
The world somehow still in ruins despite being over 200 years since nuclear armageddon? Ok well that's another issue worthy of its own post.
No, my one gripe with the world building of Fallout is...
***Its video and image tech.***
My god, the best this world got by the time they arrived in the year 2077 is black & white, green, and an occasional blue? (Yes, I am aware that in the games, you can change your Pip-Boys to other colors but hear me out; Why not to all the colors?) also, the image quality is so questionable. When the Ghoul from the TV show watched his old movies, the image quality was actually great. However, also in the show, we can see Lucy looking at an image of her dad and it's so pixelated.
I understand that Fallout's aesthetic is based on the 1940s-1960s and it vision of the future but correct me if I'm wrong, I believe color television was invented and/or popularized in that time and that it's image quality was kinda decent.
You can keep the grainy filter. You can even keep that film overlay but c'mon, you telling that nobody, not even those from the film industry will want to improve image quality for their own benefits?

Finished first pull. Armor looks clean and crisp. Quite happy with the final results.
Resin cast helmet and 2mm HIPS vacuformed armor.
Thanks for my friend for modelling for me.
