I run a brand in the health niche. My funnel used to be ad → pre-lander → PDP. I recently launched a test sending traffic straight to the PDP to see if overall CVR would improve without the pre-lander.
The new ad is performing REALLY well. Even with mediocre metrics, it’s putting me in solid profit, which I’ve been struggling with for the last 2–3 months.
My theory: in the old funnel, the video ad and pre-lander did most of the selling, so the PDP barely had to work. Most buyers didn’t even scroll below the fold before converting.
So now that I’ve got an ad driving traffic this efficiently, what’s the better next move?
The reason I’m unsure: right now the PDP isn’t converting any better than the pre-lander funnel did, so I don’t know which one to put my effort into. But I do have the chance to clearly try and improve my PDP now it has clear traffic to test with rather than with a pre-lander funnel again.
Anyone has advice?

I'll show you with two EV charging apps that sell the exact same thing and use the exact same number.
The setup
Chargemap and Octopus Electroverse both sell one app that works at lots of chargers across Europe. Both ads say "over 1 million chargers."
I pulled 325 of their Meta ads and translated them from five languages. (The Ad Library doesn't show spend or results, so this is about what they say, not what works.)
The Same-Claim Trap
When two brands make the same promise, the promise stops working. The buyer hears "1 million chargers" twice and believes neither. It's just noise.
The only thing that wins is proof the other guy can't copy. Here's how each brand handled it.
Chargemap stacked proof on top of the claim
Real people. Their top ad right now is a street interview. A real driver at a real charger says he's used it since 2018 and it's never failed him.
A real test. They film long road trips to show you won't run out of charge.
A big name. Citroën sends its own drivers to Chargemap. When a car company backs you, you don't need to say much else.
Octopus didn't stack anything
75 ads, and not one real person.
More than half are cartoon videos of the app. Most of the rest just show the number.
Same ad, new language for each country.
Octopus made a choice, not a mistake
Cartoons are cheap. Change the voice and text, and you're live in four countries for almost nothing. Chargemap has to film real people in every country.
So Octopus picked low cost per country. Chargemap picked trust. Neither is wrong. But if you copy Octopus without knowing you're making that trade, you're paying for it in trust.
How to get out of the Same-Claim Trap
Write down the main promise in your ads.
Open the Ad Library and read your top competitor's last 20 ads.
If they say the same thing, your promise is now worth zero. Stop leading with it alone.
Add one proof they can't copy:
A real customer saying how long they've used you
A partner or bigger brand backing you
A test or demo with real results
Put that proof in the first 3 seconds, not at the end.
What I can't tell you: which brand gets more sign-ups, or how many ads each one really runs. My tool stopped at a set number.
Has anyone tested cartoon app videos against real customers on camera? I want to know if the money saved is worth the trust lost.

Can I use AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini to create and manage Meta ad campaigns? Is there any risk of getting my Meta ad account banned or restricted for using AI?

Hoping someone has been through this.
We have a Facebook Page and an Instagram professional account that were never linked to each other. The same WA Business App number was listed as the contact on both.
Yesterday I tried to link Instagram to the Page in Meta Business Suite for the first time. Every attempt ends at the "Confirm connection" step with this error:
"Business Account Not Allowed to Advertise. This business account didn't comply with our Advertising Policies or other standards."
Around the same time, our WA Business number was disabled under WA's Commerce Policy. We don't sell anything through WA, it was only for customer inquiries and bookings. The app now says "Requesting a review is not available." I'm not sure if the ban came before the linking attempt or was triggered by it.
What I've checked:
What I've tried:
My guess is Meta is treating everything tied to the banned number as one flagged business, but I can't find anything that confirms it.
Questions:
Thanks in advance.

New campaign: CBO €50, sales, fashion in UK, 4 hours, spent: €5 for literally 3 impressions, CPM: €1,600! I understand that CPMs can be high at the start when there’s no spend, but here we’re talking about €5 spent with a CPM of €1,600. I’ve never seen anything like it. If I’d forgotten about this campaign, it probably would have used up the entire budget for 31 impressions.
Old ad account, tier 2, bm verified, domain verified, pixel has data..
really can’t figure out, Can anyone tell me if this happens to others or if it's just a problem I'm having?

So when creatives get good soft metrics, is it guaranteed that they convert? Or is it still possible that the ads get good metrics and cheap traffic but don’t convert, without that being a sign that the LP or offer is bad? It’s just the nature of ads that some creatives convert better than others. In the end, marketing and Meta ads are mostly guesswork (with the necessary direct-response fundamentals, of course), and you never really know what converts and what doesn’t. Just because a creative gets cheap traffic but doesn’t convert doesn’t mean the offer or LP is bad, as long as the shop gets conversions and add-to-carts overall.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for help with a Meta Business account restriction that I’ve been dealing with since May
“This account was created or used with an automation that doesn’t follow our rules.”
The strange thing is that I haven’t used any unauthorized automation tools or bots, and I have no idea what triggered this restriction.
I submitted an appeal and completed the required face/video verification, but my appeal was rejected almost immediately, without any clear explanation.
Since then, I’ve been unable to run Instagram ads or promote my business.
I’m trying to find a way to get my case reviewed by an actual Meta support representative rather than receiving automated responses.
Has anyone experienced the same issue and successfully resolved it?

So im trying meta ads for the first time and I could really use some advice before I torch hundreds of dollars.
I’m in the apparel niche, product I’m advertising is 40$. My creatives are simple product-focused images.
I set up a campaign, and put 1 adset in the campaign with a budget of 50$/day
That adset technically only has 1 ad in it, but that ad is a dynamic creative ad with 5 different images and 3 different text variations. (Sidenote: is this too much?)
I let it run for a full 24h and got: 59 clicks 5% ctr 2 atc 0 sales
Obviously losing money but the 5% ctr confused me. So I did a breakdown of the ad by image/creative and this is where I’m really confused.
45$ were spent on one creative. This creative so far only got 12 clicks and a staggering 3.50$ cpc
3$ were spent on the second creative. The second creative has a 0.08$ cpc and 47 clicks!
So my question is why did meta see the cpc and click rate of the second one and decide to pump all of my budget into the first one?
Should I be extracting creative 2 into a new adset by itself and running that separately as a test?
Also, is this enough data to kill creative 1 given my product price? I’ve seen some people say it takes a few weeks to stabilize but with this current spending strategy I’d be spending 180$ per sale assuming a 2% conversion rate on clicks and that’s just terrible.

Looks like everyone is having the same issue. My campaign has been running for 2 months suddenly got rejected due to "deceptive live". We are a clothing store.
My campaign with deceptive link is now running and spending, but I can't do any edit, nor seeing the ads.
Tried to see if i can edit and re-submit, but said that my "post has been removed". First of all, I've never made it a "post", the creatives we all selected manually from my creatives pool which wasn't made for "posts". Not sure why they called it that.
Secondly, does anyone have this issue when you upload and add, you select your creatives manually (not from existing posts), and it automatically made it "existing posts" and restrict you from editing after submission? That was new to me.
And while Meta status said everything is working lol...
Update: Chatting with Meta support right now. They said everything was okay, no issue. So I replied "but i still can't edit the post" Asked the clear cache and all, still didn't work. They checked again, and said that the post was deleted FROM MY SIDE. And of course I didn't, I am the only user here.
While my ad is still spending. Absurd.

I'm hearing a lot of recent reports of spam rejection on ads. Myself included. Who else is experiencing this?
r/FacebookAds • u/User123456776 • 7h ago
I resell brand name overstock online.
I posted an ad and it got rejected for “counterfeit”
How do I get past this? My ad had the logo and name in it.
Should I request a review? Looking for advice

I’m developing a traveling immersive family attraction that would operate for a weekend in a metro area before moving on to another city the next weekend.
Tickets would likely be around $30–$35 for kids/adults. The target audience is primarily families with children roughly elementary to middle-school age.
The attraction would move market to market across the U.S., with each city getting roughly 6–8 weeks of marketing before opening.
I’m trying to get a realistic feel for paid marketing spend per market. If the goal were roughly 2,000–4,000 child ticket sales in a weekend, what kind of budget would you expect to need?
I’m especially interested in hearing from people who have marketed live events, attractions, museums, family entertainment, festivals, touring shows, or ticketed experiences.
What channels would you prioritize, and what CAC would you consider realistic?

I turned off all of my campings since the start of October because of whatever is going on. Should I turn them back on?
r/FacebookAds • u/Novostella-Lighting • 9h ago
To be honest, my Google Ads conversion performance has been very poor since mid-September, and it’s gotten even worse in October. I initially assumed it was due to Labor Day or Amazon Prime Day, but as of today—October 16th—things are still just as bad. I’m at my wit's end; my daily sales are only a third of what they usually are. How are your Google Ads performing?

Has anyone seen conversion tracking become basically non existent when using either FB ads direct to a product, collection or adv+ carousel to a shopify e-commerce site?
We use utm and have had success for years tracking sources. But lately it says direct or even Shop like the shop app from Shopify when I can see it was attributed to email click or a comment from them on an ad.
I don't know what else to try because event manager is showing correctly but I cannot attribute anything.

I’m putting together a quote for a real estate developer client based here in Jalisco, Mexico. He wants me to manage five separate accounts for Meta Ads campaigns. Honestly, I’m not sure what to charge; his products are high-ticket items (priced above 5 million Mexican pesos).
Any tips or advice?

I published some new ads all of them got approved and active. After 2 hours I got notification that ad has been rejected, after 2 hours and spending $7 is now showing delivery error instead of rejected.
It shows Invalid Usage of ForceRunStatus and when I open the edit it says post got deleted. I don’t understand what’s happening here, can anyone help me out please?

This just happened to 3 of my clients at around 8:09pm EST rejecting their catalogue ads. Not sure why, nothing is violated. Is this a meta glitch?
r/FacebookAds • u/Few-Instruction-4046 • 10h ago
The situation. Woke up to my IG ad account disabled over a "failed payment" despite having $180.75 in prepaid funds sitting right there (from a $200 deposit the day before — only $19.25 was actual ad spend). The account insisted I owed money, but every time I tapped "pay now," I'd get a success confirmation while my bank showed zero transactions. Phantom payments — the button lied to me all day. I also hit up support through every channel I could find: the ad payments window in settings, the help button, Meta Verified support.
Honestly, I'm not sure what finally lifted the hold. Candidates: topping up my prepaid balance (which brought it to $200.75 — notably *not* "paying" the alleged due amount, since the pay button never actually processed anything), one of those support tickets landing somewhere, or adding my Facebook profile as an ads account and linking it with my old one. One of those did it — Meta never told me which.
Then a second problem surfaced. Later that day, Instagram started routing my promotions through my personal Facebook profile's ad account ($0 balance) instead of my funded business ad account. In the Ads payments setup it said "[my name] will be used for Instagram ads" with no way to pick the right ads account with the $200 balance in it. (For clarity: Facebook wasn't in the picture that morning, this showed up later.)
Root cause. My Facebook profile was never added as a person to my Meta business portfolio. Instagram's billing flow looks for ad accounts through your Facebook identity — since mine couldn't see the business, it could only see my empty personal ad account and locked onto it.
Fix:
The aftermath nobody warns you about.
After all that, my campaigns showed "Active" everywhere but spent $0 for hours — total spend frozen at the exact number from that morning. "Active" just means enabled/scheduled, not actually delivering. This is post-billing-disable limbo: the account gets re-enabled but the delivery engine never resumes.
Fix:
from the ads manager app pause each campaign, wait 2 minutes, resume. That forces Meta to re-evaluate. This might take up to an hour. Don't create new campaigns (restarts learning) and don't accept the "combine ad sets" recommendation while it's stalled. I’ll try and give an update, but right now views are starting to trickle in again, I gained over 1k followers in a couple hours last night, so I’m hoping it picks up again. You can track this by looking at views and ad spending.
Muse AI assistant was super helpful, you’ll also want to download the ads manager app. Meta AI assistant was absolute useless garbage.
Disclaimer: Muse helped me write this bec I honestly still have no idea what I did 🥲 but it’s been a day 😮💨 (finally getting connected with a person after speaking to Meta AI, only to be told she needed to transfer me to the ads department, leaving the chat, then one replying to me after that and Meta AI refusing to connect me further/ escalate was my least favorite part)
I just wanted to put some info out there on this because there wasn’t much, hope this helps someone.

Hey everyone! I'm having an extremely frustrating issue with Instagram, and I'm hoping someone here can help me figure it out. I've been trying to boost some of my Instagram posts, but to do that, I need to connect my Instagram business account to a Facebook Page. However, every time I try to do it, I run into some kind of error. I've encountered several different error messages, including:
I've tried connecting the accounts in several different ways: through Instagram itself, through the Facebook Page, and through Ads Manager. I even tried connecting my Instagram account to different Facebook Pages, thinking that might be the issue, but at this point, it really seems like the problem is with my Instagram account itself.
I found it strange that my account might be violating any of Meta's policies, since all my posts comply with the rules. Still, I decided to investigate just to be sure. However, every account status check I could find showed that there were no violations on my account. Meta's AI even reviewed my account and confirmed that I had never violated any of its policies.
The biggest problem is that none of the solutions suggested by Meta's automated support actually work. I even tried using Meta Verified's support, but the chat refuses to connect me with a human support agent (I'm starting to wonder if they even exist).
I've been dealing with this for months, trying multiple support channels without getting any meaningful response. It's hard to put into words how frustrating this whole situation has become.
Has anyone experienced something similar or found a way to fix it? I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions.
The thing is, I genuinely need to keep using this specific Instagram account, so creating a new one isn't an option for me.
