Moderator Post TES 6 Speculation Megathread
It is highly recommended that suggestions, wishlists, questions, speculation, and leaks for the next main series Elder Scrolls game go here. Threads about TES6 outside of this one will be removed depending on moderator discretion, with the exception of official news from Bethesda or Zenimax studios.
As of now, there is currently no confirmed info on the Elder Scrolls VI other than it exists and is currently being worked on by Bethesda. Be cautious of any rumors being delivered as if they are factual.

Lore Why are imperials pretty good at building states and empires?
I only played Oblivion and Skyrim, so forgive me for my limited knowledge. I know it's said that they're good at diplomacy and trading, but I don't know how that really explains how they just keep dominating over the centuries.

Humour Funny thing I noticed
Talin Wartaft, a character who appears in the floppy disc version of elder scrolls arena shares a striking resemblance to a character who appears on the cover art of Warhammer Fantasy Battle’s second and third editions.
If I remember correctly, Jagar Tharn sent Uriel Septim and supposedly Talin Wartaft to a dimension of Tharn’s choosing. Thus it would be really funny head cannon if Talin Wartaft went to The Old World in Warhammer fantasy, potentially encountering skaven.

Arts/Crafts Vivec
Drew some vivec, based on the line from Sermon 33;
“if the love of the people of this city for me ever disappear, so shall the power that holds back their destruction.”
Reddit nukes the resolution so here’s the high res copy

Daggerfall Discussion How would you compare Daggerfall to Might and Magic 6 or 7?
Every time I see gameplay of Daggerfall, I think of M&M games from back in the day. Anyone who played both willing and able to compare them? Thinking of giving it a run if it plays similarly.

Lore How did the Redguards manage to beat back the Aldmeri Dominion?
I'm wondering, how exactly did the Redguards repel the Aldmeri Dominion? They sound like some badass people, and even though TES6 isn't for another 2-3 years, what they're capable of makes me hyped for it!
Kinda comparable to the Ala Mhigan rebels you help fight the Garlean Empire in Stormblood in FF14, for a comparison.

Lore Lore/God's/Cosmology
Im not entirely sure where to ask this so decided to try here, I got back into skyrim last Monday after getting 100% summer of 2024, at the time I knew some of my stuff about the divines and whatnot, but now I don't know as much, could some people if you have the time make comments down below of any or all of the 3 topics in the title, doesn't matter how little or big, the more detail the better but don't force yourself please.

Humour Average Windhelm dock worker
Seriously, why so many Argonians in such a miserable area lol. I've always kind of assumed they're descendents of the former slaves of Windhelm's Dunmer refugees.

Arts/Crafts The Oghma Minimum - a one-page Elder Scrolls ttrpg
I needed a break from Inktober, so I made this!
It is unpolished and I should have tested it before posting it, so you know it's The Elder Scrolls.
Let me know if you like it!

Skyrim Discussion Just started TES V: Skyrim for the first time.
I am extremely disappointed that there is no acrobatics trait. I played both the original TES IV: Oblivion and the remaster. I just finished the remaster to 100% completion (which I did not even do on the og oblivion because I did not have the DLCs) and I absolutely Loved a couple of the new things they added. Like sprinting. Or the "empty" indicator on storage containers that are empty. I assumed these would be in Skyrim too (which they are.) In Skyrim I like that I can know what dungeons I have cleared and the dual wielding feature is probably my favorite feature altogether. I also love that I can remain sneaking when I jump too. Though the lack of acrobatics is such a turnoff for me. I want to be able to just spam jump everywhere like a lunatic on Skooma and Hist sap. I did that all the time in oblivion, remaster and original. Why would they take such a beautiful, perfect thing out of the next entry in the series? Every time I jump in Skyrim it's like my Khajiit (who should be the jumpiest fella in all of northern tamriel) needs to take a break between jumps. I am sure that I will find a lot of love for this game in continuing it, but i really do hate that one of my favorite things about Oblivion is gone in this game. Do you guys think there is any hope that one of my favorite features might return in TES VI??

Still amuses me after all these years 😂 was on the regular Skyrim Reddit, but it apparently classed as a meme? I had no idea I had just made a meme 😂 it got 77 upvotes votes though so let’s see if everyone here can ‘beat it’ 😂🤣

General Does no one find it weird that there isn't a quest freeing Saint Jiub?
To me, I always kind of felt like this didn't make much sense and felt like a slap to the face, especially after all the stuff he went through. A guy seeking redemption, eliminating one of the worst pests in all The Elder Scrolls, and then gets his soul trapped. His quest involves a journal, but nothing about freeing him?
I mean there are quests freeing Valerica and Durnehviir. That can be done, two characters that definitely don't deserve any freedom, but not Saint Jiub?
