despite all the things we like to rant about with the animations in nhl games, the fighting is one that they improved on the most and something I’ll always appreciate lol.

We have a 32 team connected franchise on chel 27 with an already completed fantasy draft and created rosters. The Season is 38 games with checks every 2 weeks for progression (stages) at 9 GP (10/8), 18 GP (10/22), and 27 GP (11/5) with the end of the season coming 11/22 since all games are available for the season in one sim. Custom Roster Share Still on NHL26…

Is there a way to edit rosters/player movement/the draft once you start a new franchise? I downloaded a recent custom roster, but guys like McKenna/Stenberg/Bjork are still in junior/international, and it says they are too young to be added to an NHL/AHL team in the roster customization.

CAREER I Passed Gretzky's Point Record In NHL 24 Be A Pro

I know it's probably not all that impressive but after 1157 regular season games I surpassed 2,857 Points.

I played on Superstar with both CPU and Human goalie sliders set to most difficult. (I know its impossible to make the playing against the CPU actually challenging)

I played all games except for pre-season and about 25 regular season games.

I originally started the Be A Pro with the goal of getting the Wheels X-Factor but it seems unattainable after getting traded to, and playing for every division and then playing 5 seasons for the same team it still did not give me Wheels.

I achieved this in my 15th season and currently have:

12 Stanley Cups

12 Conn Smythe's

14 Hart Trophies

14 Art Ross Trophies

14 Maurice Richard Trophies

14 Ted Lindsay Award's

1 Calder Trophy

Assumably 14 Lady Byng's and Bill Masterton's since they aren't tracked past the previous 5 years.

My current regular season statline is:

1,157 Games Played

1,551 Goals

1,307 Assists

2,858 Points

My current playoff statline is:

290 Games Played

429 Goals

312 Assists

741 Points

NHL is really the only game I play which is why I haven't got a PS5 and am still playing NHL 24. I originally planned to get a PS5 for NHL 27 once I surpassed Gretzky but I'll probably hold off since NHL 27 has looked especially glitchy so far.

My player is 32 so I guess I'll go for Gretzky's assist Record and then 4,000 points. I guess it'll force retire my at some point, but I'm not too sure.

*I will add, I did have to replay this game by force closing NHL because if the point you get to pass the record it an assist it won't play the cutscene or provided any acknowledgement of beating the record. I wanted to mention if anyone is ever close to reaching.

RANT NHL 27 made for casuals, exploited by sweats

• Upvotes

They made Ai so overpowered that you can casually sit back and let them play your defence for you. This is meant for casuals who don’t know really understand how to play defence and i understand why EA did it but why does someone like me who challenges the puck carrier somehow puts me in a disadvantage compared to a guy who just sits infront of his goalie all game?

Every sweaty game is just rinse and repeat tedious 1-4 strat with Ai pressuring at every turn or pass. Don’t even get me started on my Ai’s who get caught every single possession and my goalie who can’t even save a beachball yet it takes me 10 grade A chances to get one goal.

EA needs to learn something called “Balance”.
