Has anyone else played against Tristan Jarry in cup Chase on Superstar and had issues scoring on him? I beat up. Every other team with zero issues except for him for some reason just had two games in a row of 30 plus shots. One of them went into double overtime. I won both of them by one goal

Also in this pack 5 83s one being an alumni so around 300-350k in value. Pretty sweet. (Note. I had hit elite 3 last week but immediately nosedived shortly after so I had to work my way back)

I flew up to Diamond and now I’m just getting bounced around over the past 2/3 weeks. I’m tying to adjust strategies on the fly to see what is working best against certain opponents but I’m always caught 2 v 4 when defending and I’m always 2 v 4 when attacking.

I’m trying to hold the puck more in the O Zone to get my lines to “catch me up” in the O Zone. And I’m always giving up big breakaways that, somehow despite good poke checks / stick lifts / hits, I don’t have the numbers around to gather the puck back and then which ever player I’ve used to perform the action, is out of position and it’s 1 v 3 more often than not.

I’m looking for 1Ts as a last resort when attacking usually - which is becoming more frequent when I struggle to break people down.

Hopefully I’ve described my current play style enough. It’s frustrating because I play often, I can usually tell who’s a better player than me within seconds, and I’ve been losing (heavily) to some, I guess, questionable players? Sounds arrogant but I promise it’s not.

I need help, I'm currently Gold 1 and can't seem to move up to Gold 2.

The thing is that since late silver level I play well and beat most of my opponent in all possible stats except one : Goal!

I have 30 shot, one-t , puck possession...

But I'm bad at decking/breakaway/wrap around

I loose to someone with 7 shoot.. who scored 3 goal .. 1 wrap around and 2 breakaway (2 out of 2)

I play on PS5, is there any control tips to be better than my 10% efficiency on breakaway?

I play in total control, I have good ping...

Need help in :

* Puck protection / to deck around people in offense

* Deck and shoot technic

Ayoo, just sharing my current lineup and personal thoughts of potentially what direction to go with upgrades.

My first thought was pushing for D, with XP path in about to get my free 84/85 hero. I was gonna use them + Naslund and buying a dude for 90kish to build Bourque and then crafting Doughty after I get a lil bit more fodder and 3 more days worth of free collectibles from the daily pack.

This does leave a hole on line 4. Prior to Naslund I had Daniel Sedin however I just listed him as I don’t need the cap space and Naslund is a bit of a better skater. However if I dump Naslund to with D upgrades I’ll probably get Sedin again or if there’s any new lineups after week 2 of eras go for that. However I think with my current team it’s not worth investing into Sedin and instead saving for a new line 1.

There’s an argument for keeping things as is and saving up fodder, selling players from ranked packs and just playing until the next season drops and then going from there. If I was to save I think it’d be for a new line 1 and bump sedins line off the team. Only reason im siding with stretching a bit for a D upgrade right now is I’ve seen Bourque on almost every team I’ve played in champs so far and he’s been dangerous. Also as a Bruins fan I’d fw him on the lineup but im always curious to see what others have to say and if saving up rn is truly the move. I’m pretty much dry on fodder and have about 50k coins

Gonna get roasted seeing all the negativity but anyways..this year imo is the first time theres no obvious exploits. No l2 crap, no speed wrap ..poke checks and sticklifts are spot on and maybe the only issue is checking which leads to skilled people ragging in oz. But apart from that i personally am enjoying it this year.

Looking to upgrade and wanted to see everyone’s goalie stats. I know it relies heavily on how you play defense but I’m curious about save percentages in ranked.

So this means tomorrow when content drops he should be switched to the Leafs. He had already been sent to the minors though. So the question is does Toronto use him on the Marlies or use him on the Leafs

This game is so rigged its not even funny. The game lag spikes and this guy manages to get past 6'4 Adam Lowry (Launch Point WITH THE +3) with 6'0 Cale Makar and bury it home (Base Makar not For the Crest). Then wins. Like EA... fix your fucking rigged ass game please becauss if you guys dont. Im genuienly just done buying these games.

Nominally rated @ 82ovl (line boosted to 83) surely should have a 3mil wage or an I missing something? Not complaining just confused.
