I am freaking out here (I do have a doctor's appointment tomorrow at 10am to get it checked but my mind is spiraling. There little bumps came out on oct 11th and this was taken this morning oct 15th after a warm shower. It is not painful or burns. They haven't burst either. What could this be ? Did not spread and size remains the same. Please help. The only different thing I did was shave on oct 3 and sex with boyfriend oct 4 and oct 9 and 8 hour walk oct 10 for about 8 hours with tight jeans.
I’ve had a very itchy rash on the backs of both of my lower legs for about a week now. It consists of small, skin-colored bumps, and the area becomes red when I scratch it. The itching is extremely intense, especially in the evening, and it’s so bad that I struggle not to scratch. The bumps also feel sore or painful when I press on them.
I shaved my legs a while ago, but not recently. I also recently had a rash in my bikini area, which has now cleared up.
I’m going to see a doctor about this, but in the meantime, I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar or has any idea what this could be.
I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions! ❤️ I know nobody can diagnose me online, but I’d love to hear about other people’s experiences.
Please help. These red spots are on my whole back as well as in the area of the sternum.
It can change colours and sizes within an hour.
At first it is small and faint in colour, no itch.
Then it can flare up and grow over my whole back and stomach, getting bright red and being extremely itchy, not letting me sleep at all.
I've been to various doctors and all of them were clueless.
They've prescribed me allergy meds, gels and treatments but none helped.
Hi guys! I have had these white spots on my penis for a month, they haven’t changed much. According to the doctor, it could be warts, what do you think? I had molluscum contagiosum 6 months ago but was completely cleared due to cryo around 4 months ago.
I have had this for about two days now. Never had it before. I do have some weed exema/dermatitis problems on my hands sometimes but only on hands and that's it. This isn't itchy and it doesn't hurt. It's just weird and I've never had it before. Didn't even care about it too much until I noticed it was also on my feet?
I got a fever that lasted a week on 4th or 5th day i got a rash and now that is looking like that. I recently got involved with a new partner. I do not have multiple partners but it’s new. If in case this is herpes what will happen if i take no meds for this ?
Location:upper back.
Timing: not sure how long it’s been there.
Symptoms: It’s not itchy or irritating at all.
Treatments tried: none
Relevant background. No major health issues. Fair skin and blue eyes. I’m not sure if family history is important here, but sister had a compound dysplastic Nevis with severe atypical features removed recently but hers was oval and 2 overlapping colors.
Guys I need some advice on how to calm/get rid of what (I think) is eczema on my infants cheek. it’s been there on and off for over a month now. 1% hydrocortisone calms it down but as soon as I stop it comes back. I’m also scared of long term and on and off use because it just yo-yos. I’m willing to try anything.
Timeline: I had a spot start peeling on the bottom edge of my palm. It wasn’t painful or very itchy, but the edges would dry up and flake and sometimes hurt if I pulled them off. After a few weeks maybe, that spot seemed to heal up. Then a small dark hard spot under the skin formed on the middle of my palm. It eventually turned into a flaky patch that grew until current size (maybe size of a quarter?) This current patch hasn’t changed for a few weeks now.
Symptoms: it’s not itchy or bleeding but it is tender (like if I drag my nail across it, it hurts a little bit compared to the rest of the palm). It definitely seems pretty dry.
Treatments tried: Moisturizer at night, also put some Aquaphor on it for a few days to keep it moist. It just doesn’t seem to be healing up or regrowing that tougher outer layer of skin like the other spot did.
As a note, I have scalp Psoriasis that occasionally pops up elsewhere like on my legs, but this is not acting like that does. I can also get dry/cracked/bleeding knuckles in the winter but this doesn’t seem to be the same either.
I thought it might be some sort of contact dermatitis from the corner of my phone case which was peeling, but I changed phone cases and it’s still not gone away.
This spot has been present for 2+ months noticed on 8/1, today is 10/15. It is the left toenail. There is some foot pain noted but not site specific. No itching, bleeding, drainage. It was evaluated but dismissed and am looking for a second opinion. Additionally, there is a swollen neck lymph node. Person is on mycophenolate for sarcoidosis.
Alright. I’m gonna repost because I realized that I posted my entire dick in my previous post and I realized how that could make people uncomfortable, so i’m just gonna explain it all again.
I have these “bumps” or whatever that has been on the tip of my prized possession since basically forever. I am 18, freshly turned, and may be getting spicy with this new girl soon, so I’m concerned about this.
I’ve searched for what may be the exact cause, but none of my search results granted me absolute certainty that it is what I have, so I just thought “hey, reddits always useful right”
Any response is greatly appreciated, and if anyone is my penis twin, or anyone has encountered a twinsie. How was the experience?
(I know this last part isn’t really a dermatology question, but if anyone could add it would be greatly appreciated)
Thank you for taking the time to read and look at my abomination
Okay so a couple days ago I got there weird bug bites and it just itched and that was about it, but today I woke up and around my bicep there were these raised bumps, they BARELY itch but they are a little more concentrated around where the bumps are. Theres also a line of bumps on my forearm and its weird because its a small perfect straight line of bumps that only just appeared like an hour ago. Every other part of my body is fine though.
I would include a picture but my phone isnt picking up on any of them. And also im not allergic to any animals or anything and I dont know whay bit me.
Reference photos, not mine or a before-and-after sequence. Photo 1 closely resembles my pitted scarring; photos 2 and 3 resemble the persistent bumps; photo 4 illustrates the inflammatory episodes.

This started during puberty, over two decades ago. The bumps gradually extended from the base towards the top along the shaft’s underside, also affecting the upper side near the base.
I have numerous persistent, skin-coloured bumps. Some occasionally become inflamed and discharge material. Squeezing them can release a white, thread-like substance. Some have left pitted scars after opening spontaneously or being squeezed.
It’s not an STI. Dermatologists have suggested either folliculitis or Fordyce spots, but I’ve struggled to get a clear explanation and treatment plan.
A 5% benzoyl peroxide wash and copper/zinc reparative cream seem to make the underlying bumps flatter and less noticeable, although their number remains similar. Clindamycin 1% gel, applied to individual inflamed spots, seems to settle those episodes. None of these has solved neither the bumps nor improved the existing scars.
This has seriously affected my self-esteem, and I’ve often felt my concerns were dismissed by the dermatologists I went to. I’d like to address both the persistent bumps and the scarring.
What would help, and which medications or procedures could realistically improve both on penile skin?
Its been around 3 days since my lips have been dry and flaky, Hurts alot and is oozing out pus
my skin is sensitive and i am on vacation, hence used the soap and towels provided
Happened before but the derma just gave me Mometasone furoate which did work but i am more curious about the reason why im breaking out to prevent it
My fingernails have been like this for the past 5 months. Brittleness, mini divots, and some slight discoloration (don’t mind the spots of blue, I was painting earlier today.) Wondering what this is and how I should treat it. I thought it was a lack of vitamins at first, but after changing my diet, it’s been the same months later.. any suggestions? One doctor told me it was not a fungal infection and looked more like eczema? Let me know, thank you.
I am on a remote island with no doctors around so I’m asking here.
Got 3 scars from an Injury 6 months ago on my Nose, Arm and Shoulder.
Applying Dermatix Ultra twice a day from 3months on the Nose and a thick moisturiser on the Arm and Shoulder.
Over time the scar on my nose has not changed much, but the arm and shoulder ones have flattened around 30%.
After the injury, I was not given stitches.
Questions
1. How long do you think they would stay?
2. If permanent, is there any treatment I can administer for the nose specifically?
Let me know if you need more information. Thank you ☺️
29 F just noticed this mole on my back. Haven’t been monitoring it cause I can’t see it, so I’m not sure if it’s always looked like that. Second photo is a comparison to my other moles. Doesn’t itch or hurt. No bleeding or scabbing.
I have these very small raised bumps on my glans, I do have ppp around the edge and have seen a doctor about these said small bumps but was told that it was natural but I’m not sure if they were just too small to diagnose at the time. They seem to be almost unnoticeable after I shower but throughout the day they become more noticeable. Should I be concerned I’d like to handle it before it increases in size if possible. Is it irritated skin?
I had a boil on my temple for about a month. Now I have a scar. It's still itchy and peeling. I found out my glasses have these bubbles and one was leaching an oily chemical the whole time. Could this have caused it? The optometrist said the manufacturer will only replace the frames with the exact same ones I suspect caused the issue. I'm arguing that this goes way beyond a simple warranty replacement and I don't want more goop glasses. I have a dermatology appointment set up for next week. It's itchy and dry.
I had one bump on my pointer finger for over 2/3 years. I thought it was a skin tag or something. About a month ago I was messing with it and tried to pop it. Nothing came out, but I noticed almost a month later I was developing a second one super close to the first.. then a couple nights ago the 3rd one popped up.. I thought the third was a mosquito bite because it was kind of itchy. And I had been bit up pretty bad the night before by mosquitoes.
Now I am less sure of what it is, any ideas?
Had it for 5 years on the back of my neck and I don’t know the actually cause of it. The only thing I can think is bc I’m fat that it causing friction of my skin. I’m currently using BenzaClin, Tretinoin 0.05% cream , and clobetasol propionate 0.05% cream
. It barely working like it less red and inflammed.
Photo is attached but I only recently noticed how red my nose is (within the last few days).
The left side of it (part circled) is raised slightly and I can see the pores so clearly.
It isn’t itchy, painful, or bleeding. It just makes me feel self conscious. I am also slightly concerned it could be cancerous?
I have also started over the last month using a new mineral sunscreen which is quite thick.
Anybody see/experience bumps on their hands like this before? It does itch.
The last time this happened I was in Yosemite for a week and now I’m in Italy and it came back… I thought I might be allergic to the shampoo/conditioner at the hotel im staying at, or I touched something to trigger this, such as the wool I’ve been knitting with… I even suspected sunlight could be causing it. Idk, what could this be? It starts small and has been spreading over the past two days.
I’ve been putting Antibiotic ointment on it which does seem to help, but not fix the issue.
42M. I have several raised skin lesions near the base and along the side of my penile shaft. They first appeared around age 20, after I became sexually active, and have been present for approximately 20–22 years.
They have remained essentially the same size, shape, and appearance throughout that time, without any noticeable growth or multiplication.
The larger lesion is pink, soft, fleshy, and somewhat squishy. It can be lifted away from the underlying skin and has a folded, lobulated surface. There are also several smaller, darker raised lesions nearby.
I have not previously had these evaluated or treated.
I’m wondering whether these look more consistent with genital warts (HPV), skin tags (acrochordons), or benign papillomatous moles.
Does the fact that they’ve remained essentially unchanged for over two decades make HPV less likely? I’d appreciate any opinions, particularly from dermatologists or other medical professionals.
The black shirt is the before (left photo) and the other is after (right photo). I asked my doctor and the only thing she gave me was Benadryl gel. I tried Destine but I think that only dried it out.
But I woke up this morning and it is just extremely itchy. I’m not trying to scratch or anything but dear god the itch is so fucking bad…
I had it once on my armpit before and it went away with Destine, and a few time under my breasts but my mom told me that since I have such large breasts, sweat got trapped under it and caused it.
