I even, low-key, have the idea of Death wielding the Eclipse Scythe XD

Hey guys, I am trying to platinum darksiders 2 And I'm trying to collect the stones for the Misson " stick and stones" and I am in this place but I can't find out how to solve the puzzle. Please if anyone knows how to solve it help me.

I recently revisited Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition on PS4, and honestly, I was shocked by how good the combat still feels. The core mechanics have largely stood the test of time, and I genuinely think this is one of the closest games to capturing that God of War-style combat I’ve been searching for.
Sure, the story can be a little corny, but for me, that’s almost irrelevant when the gameplay is this satisfying. The combat has incredible versatility, brutality, and weight behind every strike. Even the pistol combat feels surprisingly fluid, with lock-on, strafing, and dodging all working together seamlessly.
Then there’s the sheer depth of the RPG systems: the huge variety of weapons, armour, gear, stats, and upgrades that constantly give you new ways to build Death.
I’m genuinely surprised this game doesn’t get more recognition for its combat. Games like Assassin’s Creed lean more towards tactical, methodical fighting, whereas Darksiders 2 delivers that aggressive, fast-paced, hack-and-slash satisfaction I’ve been missing.
I’ve only seen a handful of people share this opinion, so I’m curious: am I overlooking something, or did Darksiders 2 deserve far more praise than it received? What exactly did people dislike about it?

Finally got the platinum after many resaves and leaving my console on over night with. Rubber band for the dark rider trophy 😂

Especially in Death's case, when you consider how Death deals with Watchers during the Abomination Vault

I literally can't find anything. i have went to all merchants and bought them but enemies and chest just drop gold. no health potions at all only mana ones and i am literally stuck because i have to fight a boss and i can't progress with only one healthbar

Darksiders 1 got the ps5 upgrade im missing two trophies improvised kills and horseman. I was using the ps5 trophy counter to track my progress and they just randomly stopped counting im stuck on 113/150 for the horseman trophy and 82/150 for improvised kills. I’ve tried a lot of thing I deleted and reinstalled I loaded earlier saves I u locked other trophies to see if they popped nothing did. Does anyone know a fix or are the just bugged.

i already finished the game im missing a couple achivements one of them being the creatures cores achivement i’m only missing the leviathan core and i just can’t do it even with 40% game speed

In fact, I very much like to envision/imagine Death using his scythes in a similar manner. Especially for my Fanfiction

Replaying the game getting the platinum playing on apocalyptic and my god this is the most lazy and boring area I’ve ever had the displeasure of playing I forgot how bad final areas are in Darksiders games same goes with Darksiders 2 and 3.

I’m aware that they were on a tight budget and most definitely didn’t have the time or funds to flesh out end game areas that’s why they feel so rushed but man this is so rage inducing like u have to do the same rinse and repeat long ass puzzle to get to a mini boss 3 times do the bosses then do more puzzles to get the beam back to azreal plus the most annoying enemy waves I have seen and if u die to the enemies u have to restart the puzzle.

Now yes im aware that im raging on a game almost as old as me (i am 21 btw) and ik that is pathetic but it seems to be a trend in these games where the bosses are cool but the actual route and what u have to do is so boring. Anyone agree or feel the same let me know

Me personally, I pick Ostegoth. The "Keepers of the Void" DLC made me start to dislike Vulgrim a bit.

I'm starting to work on an APWorld to make a randomizer in Archipelago out of Darksiders 1. If any modders here is interested to work on the client side (the mod for the game), let me know

And if that is the case, I am sure that they would have been on better terms with the Void Keepers than Vulgrim was.

Hey guys!, I hope you all have a good day. I recently finished darksiders 2, and I really like it. So I downloaded darksiders 3 and really excited for it. What do you think about the game, is it good? Cuz I don't know anything about it. ( Please without spoiling )

During my fight with Wrath, I wasn't able to use the Wrath Shard. But it does make a little more sense and it turns out to be a nice detail after the fight, when wrath says "How can you fight without anger?!"
