Injured Bird Help my bird NSFW

So Ive had my green cheeked conure for about 2 years now and he's 3 years old. Recently he's been keeping one of his eyes closed. Me and my dad thought nothing of it, until recently he's been closing both eyes. We've taken him to the avian vet a countless amount of times and they dont know what's wrong with him. I've noticed he's been shaking and one of his eyes has been tearing up. We've been keeping a heater on to make sure he isn't cold, and have been giving him antibiotic eye drops. I'm really scared, he's still a baby and it scares me. if anybody has been through the same thing or knows about this, please let me know. I love my baby and don't want him to die.

Advice Should I panic? NSFW

First time green cheek conure owner. I'm still trying to get them off of their seed diet so I am slightly panicking this is because of lack of nutrition. The vet can't see them for another 48hrs, so I take it this might not be life threateningif the vet isn't panicking? But I thought I would ask while we wait for the vet. Is this normal for their poo? (Obviously Google told me that they're dying 😂)They seem happy and healthy. Picture of my little dude I took this morning as well. Thank you from a panicking conure parent 😂😭

Edit: thank you guys for all the reassurance. Good to know they saved it all night just to poo on me as soon as I took them out of their cage lol. That's very in line with their personality.

Advice Advice on sudden aggression.

Hello! This is my 4 year old Green Cheek conure Millie. Don't be fooled by her cuteness!

I'm having an issue with sudden aggression directed at me specifically. There are 3 people in my house that take care of and spend time with her, including myself, but she lives in my moms room and in turn spends the most time with her, but we've always made sure she doesn't get too attached to one person.

It started about a month ago, I was laying on the bed with her just watching videos on my phone when she started biting my ear lobe really hard. Normally she gently preen's the inside of my ear. I wear glasses and have worn them for about as long as we've had her and there's never been any issue, but it seems like she's scared of and or simply doesn't like them and ends up redirecting to my ear lobe. It got so bad that she had jumped on me when I was already not in a good mood and bit me so hard that blood ran down my ear and needless to say I yelled at her and put her in her cage for a while.

I'm not proud of that and I know you have to be calm with them, but that's the hardest she's bit me and it was especially painful on that part of my ear. It's at a point now where I can't even pick her up or she bites me either immediately on the hand or after a few minutes of holding. I'm normally the one who watches her, along with my dog (who is also scared of her) when the rest of my family goes out of town. They'll be heading out next weekend and I'm sort of stuck in a difficult position because she wants attention, but I can't give her any if she's going to clamp down.

I'm not sure why she suddenly doesn't like my glasses and there's nothing I can't afford to change them out. I should note my sister doesn't wear glasses, but she's been getting bitey (not as much as me) after she has her for 10-15min, but doesn't bite my mom who does wear glasses at all. She's able to pick her up and do all of the things we were all able to do before with no issue.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to show her that there's nothing wrong with them? I've never been quite sure what to use treat wise for training purposes as she's very picky about what she likes to eat.

Advice Chop Advice: how to store

I am a brand new gold cap caregiver. My husband and teenage daughter really wanted a snuggly, goofy, sweet bird. After spending days at the bird shop, I selected this bird for having a clear bond with us. I did NOT realize that there are varieties other than green cheeks until after I brought him home 😱… I thought they were all just different colors of green cheeks.

Anyway, my question is: how do I extend the life of chop? Even if I only make a little, he doesn’t eat it as quickly as it goes bad. I end up wasting a lot of it. Can I freeze it?

Bonus question: he’s not super snuggly… is that just his personality or will it improve with time and attention?

Nope. Just stinky. Nasty boy took a bath in day old water and had him smelling like cheese. Took him to the sink for a mandatory bath and the cheese smell is all gone 🤣

Advice Rehoming advice

I'm rehoming my friend, I've had him for over 10 years, and I'm currently just unable to sleep. Constant crying.

I never thought the day would come, but I live with family and my grandparent is currently suffering from alzheimer which is making our home situation unsafe. I've not been able to let my bird out as much as he used to, he also gets super scared of my grandparent which never happened before, and I think it's really gotten to him because I can't go near his cage anymore without getting attacked. He went from a bird that wanted to cuddle all day to one who won't even let me touch him anymore, and so far the vet says his health is fine.

In my mind this is the best decision, because it makes sense that he deserves a better place. Hopefully with other birds, so he can thrive and have his social needs met properly. But emotionally I can't deal with it. My family is happy "to get rid" of him.

I guess. IRLi don't have support, and I am really hoping for advice, if this is really the best option, or if I'm making a big mistake. I'm scared he'll be worse off but I feel like he lost a lot of quality of life in the past months at home. I'm aware this is reddit and I'll probably regret posting this
