Advice Wanted Lonely

I’m a freshman and am having a really hard time making friends as it seems everyone already has groups that they are a part of. I’m kind of a nerd and have been going to multiple clubs that peak my interests but nothing has clicked yet. Is it too late for me?

my first year i felt exactly same, took until second semester before i found people i actually liked. clubs are good but sometimes you just get unlucky with the mix of folks there

You're a freshman. It's not too late.

When the clubs have activities -- not just meetings -- go to the activities, too. Participating in activities together helps you build friendships.

You're also allowed to go up to people at the dining hall and ask to sit with them -- that can be a good way to meet new people.
