Other Clod Update: Claude promoted him after 1 million views
So somehow my original post about Clod, the random rock Claude hired, has reached over a million views lmao.
I've been reading through all the comments and apparently MOST people, love this stupid rock.
A few people even pointed out that Clod is probably more qualified than most actual employees xD
Anyway, I figured Clod deserved a performance review after all the attention he's been getting.
So I asked Claude if Clod should get a promotion.
Apparently he does.
Clod's performance review:
Attendance: 100%
Complaints: 0
Mistakes: 0
Actual work completed: 0
Despite that last part, Claude still thinks he's doing an excellent job.
So Clod has officially been promoted to management.
I even made him a tiny black tie out of paper to make him look more professional. Took me longer than I'd like to admit.
I also asked Claude if Clod deserved a pay rise.
Apparently he doesn't need one because he has no living expenses.
Which is fair enough I guess.
So now I've got a rock with a smiley face and a little tie sitting on my desk, and somehow he's doing better in his career than me.
I genuinely cannot believe over a million people have seen this fucking rock 😭
Thanks for all the love on the original post. Clod appreciates it, even if he has absolutely no idea what's going on.

Productivity Just got access to mythos!
Pretty neat model,
Tried it out on a relatively small but spread out task last night. It was pretty competent and even left a note to opus 5.5 on how it should improve its workflow to stop over-engineering and committing the same mistakes it’s been doing every session.
Very excited to use this model in the future.

Vibe Coding The anti vibe-coding cult is going to be on wrong side of history
Some facts (not an opinion):
- At its best Claude is faster at coding than any human.
- Opus 5.5. is technically more able and more bilingual in terms of programming languages than probably 99.9% of developers coding stuff all by themselves. Were I a tech company boss choosing between a vibe coding expert with a strong portfolio and someone who (as a purist coder) rejects vibe coding as 'slop' after all that has happened in 2026 I know who I'd hire.
- I had a soft body car simulation physics engine in C++ optimised by Fable that performs countless millions of calculations per second - the idea that a model of Opus 5.5 standard can't write optimised code is disproven by all the hot paths. If it only wrote slop - it would show up in the extreme hot paths like that.
- A "slop-machine" is the responsibility of the human.
- Anti AI sentiment is being fuelled online by Russian and Chinese disinformation bots. China especially has skin in the game, and Stasi-led Russia has a keen decades-long interest in seeing a culture war escalate in our countries, they have a proven track record of jumping on the next fertile ground to stir up shit.
- The bots target niche discourse and stuff like vibe coding game dev threads, to make their arguments feel pervasive and credible. They have abused countless threads I've been involved in on Reddit about game development.
- Our politicians are borderline technically illiterate and do nothing about the bot problem. In 2026 the arguments around AI = fertile ground for disinformation and trolling. A few weeks or month old accounts with private posting history and always the similar word-word-long number pattern to usernames is just the tip of the iceberg.
- Those who outright reject the idea of using the most powerful coding tool thats ever been made, for 100% of their coding tasks - are going to make themselves unemployable and before that, are putting themselves in the firing line in their current place of employment. They will literally be on the street if they keep that attitude up into 2027.
- Inexperienced users who do one-shot stuff with Claude and are excited to share it deserve a free pass, not abuse. Sure the repetitive one-shot games and apps get boring quick... especially when spammed all over social media, but what we should remember is how we felt when we first started using Opus 4.5 - that awe of what it felt like seeing that end result from a short prompt for the first time.
Fuck the haters and fuck the Russians.

Claude Code I've spent the last ten months building a project with Claude, and tonight I asked it to show me a bit of the code that he thinks is very clever and he's proud of
I'll pick the barcode scanner listener, src/hooks/useLabelScan.ts. It's about 50 lines, and one of them does nearly all the work:
// A scanner's keys come well under this apart; a person's, well over.
const GAP_MS = 60;
const onKey = (event: KeyboardEvent) => {
if (typingIn(event.target) || event.ctrlKey || event.metaKey || event.altKey) return;
const now = performance.now();
if (now - last > GAP_MS) typed = ''; // ← this line
last = now;
if (event.key === 'Enter') {
const code = typed.length >= 2 ? readLabelCode(typed) : null;
typed = '';
...navigate to the ticket or device
}
if (event.key.length === 1) typed = (typed + event.key).slice(-16);
};
Here's why I love it. A USB barcode scanner isn't really a device the app can talk to. As far as the computer is concerned, it's a keyboard. There's no driver, no AP and no pairing. It just "types" T7001 and presses Enter. So the app can't ask "was that a scan?" It can only watch keystrokes, and a scan looks exactly like you typing on the Tickets page.
Except for one thing: speed. A scanner types the whole code in a few milliseconds per key. A person, even a very fast one, leaves well over 60ms between keys most of the time.
So instead of trying to recognise scans, the listener simply forgets anything slow. Every key that arrives more than 60ms after the last one wipes the buffer. Human typing never gets to build up a code: by the time you've pressed the third key, the first two are gone. A scanner's burst slides straight in, Enter arrives, and if what's there reads as a label code (T plus a number, or D plus a device ID), the app opens it.
There's no mode, no "scan now" button, and no timer running in the background. It's one subtraction and a reset. The T in front matters too: scanning an old legacy label, which holds only a bare number, does nothing rather than opening some random ticket that happens to share the number.
The label test proves both sides: the same T3 sent 8ms apart opens the ticket, and 150ms apart it doesn't.
----------------------------
I thought this was super cute, and I'm thrilled I asked!

Claude Code Claude Code on desktop got a serious glow up, here's what's new
Honestly it's way better now. If you use it on desktop, try these:
Saved environments – save a few folders, an SSH host or cloud as one setup, start sessions there.
Worktree per folder – parallel sessions don't mess with each other anymore.
Nested sessions – ask for parallel tasks, each one reports back to the main thread.
/btw (Cmd+;) – side question opens in its own tab, main session keeps working.
One-click follow-ups – Claude suggests next task, one click, runs as its own session.
Sidebar status – see which sessions are working and which need you.
Recap cards + live to-do list – come back to a session and catch up in seconds.
Hard to pick one, they all sound great. What about you?

MCP 3D recreation of Neo apartment from The Matrix, built 100% using Claude via MCP Blender

3D recreation of Neos apartment from The Matrix, built 100% using Claude via MCP connected to Blender. It’s not a perfect 1:1 recreation due to creative liberties and limited reference material.
Inspired by hirokazu yokohara project, I tackled this workflow with one main difference: mine is 100% modeled by Claude from scratch, no Image-to-3D tools like Meshy or Tripo were used.
It took roughly 5 days part-time. Creating an environment like this traditionally would easily take 1 to 2 months.
I used Claude Opus 5.5 alongside parallel agents with Sonnet and Haiku. Claude handled execution, modeling, UVs, camera, materials, and compositing, guided heavily by my drawn annotations and feedback.
Working within a basic $20 plan was the main hurdle, requiring strict token management and waiting out 5-hour resets. A higher-tier subscription is definitely recommended for heavy workflows.
Producing a scene like this requires solid 3D fundamentals and art direction; a simple prompt isnt enough.
Textures were a mix of external maps and vector graphics generated directly by Claude for posters and monitors. Claude researched set hardware, gathered blueprints, and modeled assets in parallel. Layout was the trickiest step to direct, whereas UV unwrapping was the fastest. Lighting and compositing were handled accurately from my sketch overlays.
Fun fact: I directed much of the project right from my phone!
The pipeline ran locally using Windows MCP and Blender MCP, rendered on an RTX 3070.

Built with Claude Claude let me build something I wanted for almost a decade
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Sooo 10 years ago a much younger self wanted to built a very complicated energy sim / tycoon game. On my original reddit post a bunch did want to join me and the post gained traction but I was neither a developer back then nor did I have the time creating such a game really.
Now? Thanks to claude, my educational path, job history in energy and a lot of feedback from other players and friends I finally was able to built something I can play myself.
Oh another AI slop game
You may be thinking that, but I genuinely believe that what I've created together with the community would have taken a solo developer or even a game studio an enormous amount of time to build, especially for such a niche audience.
And to me, that's one of the best use cases for AI-assisted game development: making it possible to create something incredibly specific for a relatively small audience that otherwise might never have existed.
How I used claude:
I almost exclusivly used claude code for the development. I setup how I wanted to have the initial game to look like and what tools to use then iterativly improved with the feedback I have gotten. The initial game was much much different to what is playable today.
A lot of the mechanics, UI, and overall gameplay evolved through countless iterations and discussions with the community. I think that's where claude really shines. It allowed me to experiment with ideas, quickly see whether they worked, and change implementations without having to spend weeks adjusting / refactoring every little feature myself.
What was most valuable developing the game was setting up a test harness with explicit targets. This is a little bit easier if you have a physics based game in development than a purely new thing though so it might not apply to your usecase. For example it checks that the energy balances are correct with every new additio.
Just wanted to share <3
The beginning is free to play, while the full game is paid to help cover the costs of development and hosting. You can try it here www.powerstate-game.com (but honestly its mostly for energy nerds <3 and a couple of tycoon freaks)

Built with Claude I used Claude (Opus 5.5) to crack a 30-year-old Super Mario 64 mystery: the unreadable courtyard plaque
Side project that got out of hand. The plaque in Mario 64's courtyard is a 32×32 texture that fans have argued about since the
90s ("L is real 2401"). No upscaler can read it because the pixels aren't there.
What Opus did:
- wrote a forward model of how a 1996 artist made the texture (font → canvas → resize → blur → stone), then a
GPU search over fonts, sizes, kerning and words
- built a dictionary search (K-best DP over 17.7k words) for line 2 and a simulation harness that plants known text in fake
plaques to measure how often the method is fooled
- wrote the 40-page LaTeX report and the open-source package
What went wrong along the way: a word-gap bug that let overlapping words double-count ink, and an early overclaim about the
capital S that the joint test didn't actually support. Being strict about held-out tests mattered more than anything.
Result: "Eternal Star / We hope so", in Adobe's 1990 Palatino Bold Italic.

Praise My experience using Claude as a travel assistant
I just got back from a Japan trip and wanted to share my experience with how amazing Claude was as a trip companion.
I used Claude to help plan my trip of course. From there, I asked it to build me a little Claude travel companion app. What it came up with on its own was already pretty good, it had tabs for itinerary, shopping list, bookings, common phrases (tailored to my trip), location cards in Japanese to show to taxi drivers.
From there, I got it to break it down into a tab for each day’s itinerary, with everything I needed on the one page, and got it to add much more info, such as:
- Google map links for every location
- expandable step by step instructions
on each item (e.g. when you get off the train, go to the south exit and get the elevator to level 2, then look for the sign that says X)
- estimated travel times
- suggested times for leaving the hotel each morning to fit the day’s activities
- going through my emails for every piece of booking information I would need, such as booking reference numbers, check in times, whether breakfast was included and what time and also a link to the booking email
- anything from my shopping list that I would be near that day and where I could get it
- restaurant suggestions for dinner each night based on regional specialities and ratings of restaurants in walking distance of our hotel
- taxi location cards for each place I’d need to go that day
Then during the trip I added the following:
- my travel companion was having some issues with all the walking, so I got it to add a low walking mode toggle for each day, which when turned on, would refactor the itinerary to reduce walking. It also gave a total kms walking estimate for each day in both normal and low walking mode.
- an ‘ask’ tab which let me take a photo within the app and then select ‘translate’ or ‘help’. So I could take a photo of a menu page and select translate. Or a photo of the train ticket booking screen and select ‘help’ and it would tell me the correct option to select for the train trip I needed. It also had an option for just asking a question without a photo.
- I also had it checking my email inbox for anything trip related and giving me updates on anything that had changed or needed attention. Which included automatically translating emails in Japanese and drafting responses in Japanese for me.
As always with Claude, I found one of the most useful things was once it has all the information, being able to ask any question you like over the top of that. Things like, ‘I missed my train, work out for me the best alternative option to still make my booking this afternoon’. Or ‘I’m too tired to do this afternoon’s activity, recommend something else that falls within my interests, doesn’t duplicate anything else we are doing, has less walking and is something that can be done on short notice’. Or ‘based on my current itinerary, how much yen do I need to load onto my travel card for the trip’.
I used Opus 5.5 for this and found in incredibly accurate. I can’t recall it really making any major mistakes. Only very small things that were possibly due to outdated web information, such as which floor of the hotel breakfast was on.
Overall, it was insanely useful. I’m sure everyone is already using it to help with travel, but just wanted to share my positive experience and also some use cases that might give people ideas for their own trips.

News Anthropic's third-quarter revenue is said to hit $16.8 billion ahead of IPO
The company also told investors it was cash-flow positive, generating $1.70 in revenue for every dollar spent on computing power during the third quarter, according to the Financial Times.
Investors expect Anthropic to reach $110 billion in annualized revenue by year-end, according to The Wall Street Journal.
For comparison, Google made $120 billion alone in revenue in 3 months in the second quarter, ($112 billion in profit).
How many people do you know are using Gemini vs Claude?
I think the $1.2 trillion valuation is overvalued.
EDIT: adding this if you're wondering about profitability
List of UNprofitable companies when they IPOd:
- Amazon
- Uber
- Airbnb
- Yelp
- Spotify
List of profitable companies when they IPOd:
- Microsoft
Which of those companies are still around today?
The point I'm trying to make is profitability during an IPO isn't the only thing one should be paying attention to.

Built with Claude I turned a joke from r/linuxmemes into a real app with Claude Code: JizzCraft, a local-first media library in Rust NSFW
galleryTwo days ago, someone on r/linuxmemes posted a fake landing page for “JizzCraft”, a parody of the “Craft” app suites. I thought it would be funnier if it actually existed, so I built it with Claude and Claude Code.
It's now a real application, and I've just released v0.2.0 alpha.
What it is
JizzCraft is a native Rust desktop app for browsing, organizing and playing your own image and video collection (adult content, hence the name and the 18+ tag).
You point it at your folders, and it indexes your library into a searchable thumbnail grid. It now includes full-text search, favorites, 0–5 star ratings, tags, categories, playlists, filters, saved views, viewing history, playback resume, video markers and an inbox for reviewing newly imported media.
There's an image viewer and a GStreamer-powered video player with seeking, volume controls, local subtitles and more.
Privacy was a core design goal from the start:
- Offline by default: the Offline edition contains no network code at all. No accounts, telemetry, analytics, cloud sync, update checks or ads.
- Your files stay untouched: JizzCraft doesn't move, rename or modify your media. Library metadata lives in a local SQLite database.
- Discreet mode: a boss key (
Ctrl+Shift+H) pauses playback, mutes audio, switches to a neutral-looking window and minimizes the app. Discreet mode and share-safe mode can also hide filenames and blur thumbnails. - Optional encrypted library: an experimental, opt-in vault can encrypt the library database and thumbnails. It does not encrypt your original media files, and a forgotten passphrase cannot be recovered.
There's also a separate, experimental Online edition for users who want to configure their own indexers, torrents and streaming sources. It is an explicit opt-in build; the default Offline edition remains network-free.
How Claude helped
- Specification: I used Claude to turn the original meme into a proper technical specification and a detailed Claude Code prompt. It defined the architecture (Rust, egui/wgpu, GStreamer and SQLite), acceptance criteria, privacy guarantees and strict rules such as “never claim a feature works unless you verified it”.
- Implementation: Claude Code built the application in vertical slices, from the core library and database to the desktop UI, thumbnails, image viewer, video player, organization tools, privacy features and packaging. Each slice went through formatting, linting and tests before being committed.
- Testing: The project now has automated checks for its offline guarantees, media-file integrity, library operations and playback state machine, plus 18 end-to-end scenarios and explicit performance budgets in CI.
- The hardest part: getting video frames from GStreamer's
appsinkinto egui/wgpu efficiently. Texture handling, frame stride and seek coalescing required particular attention. I also added benchmarks to measure performance rather than relying on “it looks smooth”. High-resolution video playback still has known CPU-performance limitations, so feedback on that part would be especially useful. - Screenshots: every screenshot and demo frame in the repository is generated by the app itself using synthetic, procedurally generated, SFW test media. The repository contains no real adult content.
Status and how to try it
JizzCraft v0.2.0 is still alpha. Linux is the only platform tested on real hardware. Windows and macOS builds are experimental and have not been validated on real machines. There are still rough edges and known limitations, so don't trust it with irreplaceable data without keeping backups.
It's free and open source under MIT / Apache-2.0.
On Linux, you can install it with a single command:
curl --proto '=https' --tlsv1.2 -fsSL \
https://github.com/kerstz/JizzCraft/releases/latest/download/install.sh | sh
The installer checks download integrity and explains any missing dependencies. The README also documents building from source, troubleshooting GStreamer codecs and verifying release artifacts.
Repository: https://github.com/kerstz/JizzCraft
Feedback on the Rust architecture, GStreamer/wgpu video pipeline, privacy guarantees or anything that breaks on your setup is very welcome.

NOT about coding Use Claude to get $$$ back on hotels you already booked
- If you book direct with Marriott or Hilton, have Claude hunt for the same room cheaper somewhere else in the first 24 hours. They both have a best rate guarantee, if another site has the exact same room, dates and cancellation rules for more than 1% cheaper, they give you that price AND another 25% off (IHG gives you 5x points instead). Nobody does it coz checking 10 sites for the exact same room with the same cancellation terms is a pain, but that's exactly what you can use Claude for. You’ll need to use connectors for it, if you ask Claude it will propose some. It usually does 4, for me it was Booking(com), Tripadvisor, Brek and LetsFG. These 2 last ones sell at wholesaler prices so check them.
One note is that Hilton updated their rules in August, and they added that the cheaper price has to still be bookable when they check it and app-only prices don't count.
- If your booking has free cancellation use this: the price of the hotel can still drop after you book. Add a scheduled task (you can ask Claude and it will add one) and every few days ge Claude to check the same room again and if it's cheaper, if it is book the new one and cancel the old one. Hotel prices move way more than people think, I've seen the same room jump 60% in 3 days, so it goes both ways.
- If you’re flexible by a few days check with Claude if there are any events happening at your dates. I’ve seen a summer festival skyrocket the hotel prices by additional $200-300 for the whole stay. And literally 2 days after the festival they dropped down incredibly.
Enjoy :) share your story if you have one!

Other Week 6 update! Using AI to build a game with no dev experience
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Keeping it short and simple. Started building a cozy game with claude in the beginning of September. Having no background in anything remotely like this, it took a lot of error, learning and wasted tokens to get to here, Its far from done but I'm genuinely very proud!
Workflow:
Claude Opus 5.5 to brainstorm, plan and organize. It's the main orchestrator and uses other opus and sonnet agents under it. Claude Uses blender to cleanup assets and builds everything in Unity. I go back and forth with Claude until I'm happy with the result. Rinse and Repeat.
Asset Creations:
Opus 5.5 writes image prompts ---> Gemini creates the 2D asset references ---> Meshy 3D turns the images into 3D assets---> Claude reduces poly count, cleans up and rigs assets in blender.
Tech Stack:
- Unity 6 + C#
- Claude Code (Opus 5.5 leading, Sonnet helping)
- Gemini + Meshy for the art
- Thousands of automated tests (custom full test suite) that play the game for me

Question about Claude Code Anyone solely trying out Sonnet 5.5 this week?
Usually a heavy Opus 5.5 user, and the work I have has that complexity required. But I'm trying out Sonnet just to test and compare once the week is over. Anyone else doing this right now? Thoughts?
edit: blogged it for visibility on my personal breakdown!

Other How I used Claude Code as a travel assistant for 14 days in Japan: planning, a custom trip app, and live re-planning from my phone
TL;DR: My wife and I just spent 14 days in Japan (Kyoto → Hakone → Tokyo). I used Claude Code as my travel assistant from start to finish: planning in my Obsidian vault, building a private offline trip app for our phones (inspired by another Redditor's trip web app; I cared about what ours did, not how it looked), and, during the trip, using Remote Control from my phone to re-plan days and keep everything up to date.
1. Planning in Obsidian
I already keep everything in an Obsidian vault that Claude Code works in, so the trip went there too: a hub note, itinerary, bookings, practical stuff, and a research note with every source and every option we rejected. I had Claude log friends' recommendations with who sent them, which paid off. Mid-trip I could ask "was this a friend's tip?" and get an answer.
The biggest help was asking it to grill me rather than hand me a plan: one question at a time, each with a recommended option, and I make the call. Before each city I asked for a "run check", where it went through every day looking for problems.
2. The trip app
The idea came from a post in r/TravelPortugal where someone shared their trip itinerary as a web app hosted on Vercel. I didn't want to juggle a travel app, Google Maps lists and screenshots, so I wanted our own version: one private page on our phones with everything we'd need on the street, in the order we'd need it. I focused on what it had to do and how it should work in practice, and left the look to Claude. Then I kept adding things as the trip showed what was missing:
- Day cards with times, directions, "where to board" links and opening hours
- Booking QR codes on the right day's card
- Train guides per journey (line, platform, direction, stops), grouped by city
- Taxi cards with the hotel address in Japanese
- Shopping lists with tick boxes, my sister's gift list with pictures, and progress bars for the EU customs allowance
- A short story and some trivia for each stop, with a photo
A lot of this came during the trip itself. The stories and trivia were a mid-trip addition, and the train guides got much more detailed after we got completely lost in a station early on.
It's one encrypted HTML file hosted on Vercel. It works offline, and it has an update button I could tap whenever I wanted to refresh it. Passwords and tokens stay in the macOS Keychain, so Claude can build and deploy without ever seeing them.
3. Live mode
I left the Claude Code desktop session running at home with Remote Control on, plus a routine that turned Remote Control back on if it dropped, and used it from my phone:
- "We only caught the 10:15 train, re-time the day" → new times, app updated, calendar events moved, in a couple of minutes
- I asked for a calendar event per stop, so I could quickly glance at my watch to check the stops
- "Is there a bar our friends recommended?" → found in my notes and checked it was open
- "Remind me in Munich to book a ride home" → done
We didn't follow the plan to the letter every day. These were holidays, not military service. But having the shape of the day a glance away really helped.
4. What went wrong
One day I changed plans on the fly to fit in a store I wanted to visit, and it went into the itinerary without anyone checking it was open. It wasn't. Since then, every stop gets checked on the place's own website before it goes in.
Tips if you try something like it
- Ask it to grill you; keep the decisions yours
- Make it check official sources, and say what it couldn't verify
- Keep one source of truth (we ended up editing the plan in two places and regretted it)
- Keep secrets out of the chat entirely
Happy to answer questions about the setup.

Claude Workflow What is the best way to make prompts?
I have Claude max. Should I?
1. Tell chat gpt or Gemini then paste it into Claude?
2. Do I have opus 5.5 medium write it for lower models.
3. Do I have fable write it for opus?
4 do I have medium effort write it for max
Do I have max effort wrote it for medium
5 do I just talk to the effort and model I want it in.
6 use fable at default but tell it to auto pick smaller agents for work.
Which then leads me to which model do I use when? Right now I’m using it for writing scripts and editing you tube videos and building animations. I do the voice over myself. Building a website using netlfy that has a 57 page, 24 chapter training manual in turning into a semi interactive trading guide for lightning consoles you can follow along with onscreen instead of the booklet. I’m going to use my resumes and turn that to my about me page. Eventually take hundreds of pictures from events and sort them into a gallery and a portfolio section that highlights 3-4 of the bigger events in detail. I burned thru the weeks tokens at first using opus 5.5 at max. At first I had one chat for each different part but now I’m using projects. But projects don’t talk to each other. Or do they? What’s the most efficient but accurate work flow? I prefer accuracy , creativity and usability over speed.

Opened up Claude Code today and saw this. Not really a fan tbh, I can't see how many tokens I have used, and it ruins the simple design. However, I do think the blue text swirl is a nice addition, I just don't see it being practical compared to seeing my token usage. What do you guys think of it?

Other I let Claude hire its first employee. It chose a rock.
I was bored tongihtt and asked Claude what it would do if it could hire someone to help it :)
For some reason it chose a rock lol
Claude said a rock would be reliable, wouldn’t complain, and wouldn’t need to be paid.
So I went outside, found a random rock, drew a little smiley face on it, and sent Claude a photo.
Claude named him Clod.
Now apparently Clod works with us.
Claude told me to keep him near my computer so he can supervise things.
I asked what Clod actually does and Claude said he has perfect attendance, never makes mistakes, and is one of the most dependable members of the team.
Which is hard to argue with.
So now I’ve got a random rock on my desk with a smiley face on it because Claude decided to hire him.
I don’t really know how this became a thing but here we are.
Anyone else’s Claude come up with dumb shit like this?

Corporate Who actually owns governance when AI tools are embedded in your daily workflow?
I work in data privacy at a small Toronto company, and we've got Claude Code and a couple of other coding assistants woven into daily work now. The weird part is nobody's quite sure who owns the governance side. The dev picks the tool, the team sets the norms, the org holds the liability, and if something leaks it's everyone's problem at once. Curious how other small shops without a governance team are handling this. Is it just vibes and a pinned Slack message?

Built with Claude I built a browser extension that's ~2x faster than Claude in Chrome. It's open source and uses your existing Claude and JEV subscriptions.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Most of my daily work happens in a browser, and I’d rather spend less time navigating through pages and filling out forms. Claude in Chrome is nice, but I wanted something that could handle these tasks faster and let me work through voice.
So I built Noa, an open-source Chrome extension. It uses Claude to reason and JEV to quickly find page elements. You tell it what you need done, and it handles the clicking, typing, and navigating in your browser. It asks for your help when it needs you to log in or approve an action.
The entire project was built using Claude Code over a week of endless troubleshooting.
Noa supports voice control through OpenAI’s Realtime API. You don’t need to click the mic button every time. Just leave it on and give instructions while having a conversation with the agent. I'm hoping that this can help with users with limited accessibility.
The extension is free to try with your own Claude Code subscription or Claude API key. Noa adds no charge for that setup, though your underlying AI costs still apply. Voice requires a paid plan.
You can install it from the Chrome Web Store, with setup instructions at noa.bot. The full source code is on GitHub under the MIT license.
It’s still early, and I’d appreciate feedback, especially on the types of tasks it gets stuck on.
Thank you!
Edit: I realize that Claude in the video is using Opus instead of Sonnet. Sorry about that. That being said, surprisingly, Sonnet 5 is much slower than Opus 5.5 (It took ~18s)

Feedback How Anthropic still doesn't have context between Claude chat and Code is beyond me
At this point just create a competitor to Dots/GrokBot or enable context between my chats and CC, so that I can freely talk to chat about my project and what needs to be done at any time/strategize (which includes when I'm away from laptop with it OFF).
