Sharing a City The Levels Park
A bit of a modern day Hanging Gardens behind my city's main library... It took a ridiculous amount of time to make!

Ever wanted building and water reflections on your mac? Or maybe installing reshade is too much and you want an in-game solution? This reflection mod adds reflections to water and to glass/metal/etc... It isnt screen space, so they can be inaccurate sometimes, but they make the game look really pretty. How smooth the reflection is will be determined by your water theme... you can change the texture using the theme mixer mod

So this is my first real project with alot of mods and assets!! It’s a fictional city called Hanford in Ontario Canada!!
The pictures show various cool aspects/ ideas and districts throughout the very unfinished city!!
If you have ideas, critics or general comments I’d love to hear them!!! I’m trying to make this as realistic looking as possible!!
Edit: game pop is 6700 lol. Sorry for the confusion
:)

My CS1 city was created with unlimited money, mildstones and resources. It’s been like that for every city I’ve created in CS1 I’ve never played the game with money or stuff being locked. I’ve always like just being able to hop on and create a city that I like with free will. And now that I have CS2 on PC with a ton of mods I’ve created my first city with unlimited money, resources, and everything unlocked it’s been fun being able to design and create a city to my liking without having to worry about money getting low. I can build till my heart’s content. As a first city I knew for a second one I could do way better. Sadly I’ve tried loading into my CS2 City and it keeps crashing so I think I must move on to create a new one. Even though I still wanted to create so much more for this one.
For a new city I don’t know if I want to do the same that I always do and create a city without any restrictions or problems. But I feel as I should give building a city with normal restrictions so I can play the game normally and have to deal with problems properly. The thing is doing it this way takes more time to build the city you want and I would have to first build a city that functions in order to make one that I want. As for using unlimited everything I can just build the city that I want. What should I do?

I'm not sure if this is well known (certainly not discussed enough IMO) but After Dark includes the Cargo Hub facility and while it has nothing to do with nightlife it's incredibly good for reducing truck traffic if you've got a dedicated cargo rail network. I was expecting to go hard on jet skis and bike lanes but so far this has been my favorite part of the DLC. If you're playing the game for the transit nerding, highly recommend this one building.

It is a masterpiece created by combining two mods.
One mod generates the road network, while the other handles zoning bylaws. I used a road network generator to create a classic suburban cul-de-sac layout and set the zoning to "allow anything to be built." The growables were generated based on vanilla demand. Sometimes towers cluster together because of land value, while other times an entire area is generated with single-family homes.
By combining the two, you can create a low service slop city in just 10 minutes, then let it run idle for a day to end up with this.
Another tip: If the city's density is low during the initial generation, demolish all growables and regenerate. The existing land values and demand will then trigger the generation of high-density areas.

Avid Xbox player here.
I’ve bought a good chunk of the DLCs on Xbox. But curious anyone’s thoughts on some MUST HAVES. My favorites are skyscrapers and emerging downtown. Let me know some of the favorites out there.
