I posted a children's sandbox on marketplace for FREE. My kid has outgrown it. Apparently I'm also expected to deliver out of state? And I'm rude for reacting poorly to that absurd request. So I got a bit ruder...

This just happened to me today and I’m pretty sure it counts as a CB.

Every morning my son and I take a walk to some shops nearby our house, this morning we decided to stop in one for breakfast. This lady and her teenage daughter in front of us kept having an issue with the mom’s card declining and it wasn’t expensive so I asked if I could pay for her. It wasn’t a lot, somewhere around 50 bucks, and I just wanted to eat and get my son home. She graciously accepted but shortly after my son and I sat down with our food. While I was FaceTiming my friend, daughter comes up to me and says she didn’t like what she chose and wanted me to get her something else. She didn’t ask- she demanded. Are you joking? She was not. I laughed a little because it was ridiculous and the lady got upset demanding I just get her daughter a new meal because she didn’t know what she was getting and it wasn’t fair. The workers intervened and helped my son and I leave before things got out of hand.

My friend said I should’ve just helped them out and told them to get something else since I eat there frequently and I should’ve known that what she got wasn’t really that good.

For anyone wondering who's not familiar with the USA, Colorado is insanely expensive to live in. I reported a tip to the labor board.

This lady is a repeat offender in a local group. All of her posts are like this or worse. One was looking for someone to let her move into their home, and had a list of demands a mile long, including the religion they MUST be. I’m sure you can guess which one. Another post was looking for a home church but demanded ONLY old time gospel music.

I had a very large rug that I listed for $5 to avoid being inundated by “ith dis uhvailuhbull?¿?¿?” but even wrote “free” at the bottom of my description. This damn woman wasted so much of my time. My partner said I should have been snippier with her after the whole “woe is me” paragraph. I thought at least she was on her way to pick it up. But then I get the “this is too much” message and she has the nerve to block me so I can’t even give her a review. Tempted to make a fakebook just to leave her a bad review and waste her time with stupid messages . I have a feeling she was hoping to resell it.
Eventually the rug went to a prompt and grateful mom who didn’t care about the minor stain and still tried to give me $5 for it.

He apparently wants someone to give him a gas card to use every week. At least people called him out!

I’m giving away perfect condition tv cabinets and a bed frame for free. Decided to give away for free since Im asking for someone to pick up from the 2nd floor and take everything at once. High interest and already found someone to take it but just wanted to share this convo I had with one woman….

People on facebook marketplace are a whole other level of entitled
