I received my Aeroad and just finished putting it together and noticed this crack. I bought this in the outlet section and even if this was just a gouge in the frame, the photos they had put up never showed this damage. I’m pretty sure it’s a crack/delamination since there’s like ripples/bubbles under. It’s located on the left chainstay.
What should I do? I already emailed them. I will call them first thing in the morning.

Anyone ever put a seat mounted rack on their Endurance Allroad? I know it says not to, but why? I like to carry a small bag on long rides. It was fine on my old Trek, and it had an aluminum seat post too.

Since it’s started to rain in norway and will continue to rain until next year, i’m using the rattle free DEFEND fenders set on my endurace.
However, it has a quite annoying rattle noice when riding, and it is caused by a little movement in the click-release buckle between the fender and the bracket on the bike.
Anyone else with this issue? Is there a fix?

Looking to buy the Grand Canyon AL 7 (2026, size S) as my first bike. I was considering the Grizl, but I have mild kyphosis so the drop bar position isn't ideal for me - flat bar feels much better for my back.
I'll mainly ride trails and gravel in Greece, but occasionally want to do longer rides (50-80 km) on mixed terrain. Anyone here riding a Grand Canyon on longer distances? How does it handle? Any tips?
Thanks!

I ordered the new Grail CF SLX 7 Di2 in XS, but I’m unsure whether I should switch to 2XS before it ships.
My measurements:
Canyon recommends 2XS, but I’m right near the XS boundary in the attached screenshot. I want a sporty position but also want to be comfortable on longer rides. My concern is being stretched out on XS or cramped on 2XS.
Would appreciate any input on how to make this decision, whether you’ve been between Canyon sizes yourself, know about bike fitting, or have experience with the Grail. You don’t need to have the same measurements as me.
What would make you choose one size over the other? I can still change my order and just want to get this right.
Thank you!

Hey people,
on Monday I took delivery of my new Exceed CFR Gravel. I would have loved to post a bunch of NBD pictures, but couldn’t go on a first ride yet.
Sadly the freewheel seems to be broken.
The good thing is, that Canyon customer service has been taking good care of me so far. I started a ticket right after assembling the bike and noticing the problem. Yesterday there was a phone call and I was sent to one of their service partners to have the wheel checked. Today I was at the service partners‘, obvious result: broken freewheel.
Another call with Canyon and now I’m waiting for their solution / the shipping notice for the new wheel.
Can’t wait to go on the first tour with it.
Cheers

Absolute love this gen 3 Grail! Pro 100mm stem is a must for me. I’m 184cm. Aeroad 26 in M with 110 pro stem. Tubes in this is 209 grams each. First time tubeless an love it. My girlfriend has the CFR and that had tpu tubes (much lighter) so she didn’t save going tubeless but hey, 2XS CFR is light vs mine. I need bigger front ring for my fast flat rides and I dream about smaller cassette too, but I can’t go for smaller cassette because of long cage? Ride on!

SRAM 12 speed vs 13 speed.
Hello All.
I can for the life of me not figure out the compatible parts between the two systems.
Background.
Both bikes mentioned is 1x
I have on my current gravelbike ( Ridley ASTR) SRAM 12 speed (AXS). The frame is UDH for the derailleur. I have 3 wheelsets all with XDR driver and 12 speed casettes.
I'm now looking at a Canyon Grizl. It's also with AXS, but 13 speed. And UDH frame.
My thought would be to keep the wheelsets so I don't have to change tires. I have one with 32mm slick for road, one set with 50 mm cinturato all road for hardpack and bike packing. And one set with 50 mm Cinturato gravel M for when it's more muddy and wet gravel.
I'm down to 3 solutions.
( probably cheapest option 350 -400€ and the i maybe can resell the 13 speed derailleur and casette)
Change the derailleur and 3xcassettes to 13 speed. ( expensive as fck appx 1000 €).
Finding an alternative to the Grizl with a 12 speed axs setup from the get go ( but the Grizl tick all the boxes for my upcoming need, bosses for mounting racks front and back and so on).
I'm so annoyed if there isn't any backwards combability from SRAM. It's like apple, making small increments and the rendering a perfectly usable product unusable.
Am I missing something. Is there an easier solution I haven't thought of??

Hey everyone,
I’m currently looking for a solid front light setup for my bike and came across the Canyon Flash 800
Before pulling the trigger, I wanted to ask the community: Does anyone have experience with this specific light, or are there better alternatives out there?
My main criteria are:
Clean integration: I’m running the Pace Bar Cockpit and really want a sleek, integrated look
Easy handling: It needs to be quick and painless to attach and detach for charging or daytime rides, without having to unscrew the mount every time.
How does this light perform in real-world use (brightness, battery life, quick-release mechanism)?
Or is there another setup that looks even cleaner and works better on the Pace Bar?
Appreciate any recommendations or thoughts!

Hi guys, I ride an Aeroad CF SLX 7 DI2 C46 and Im pretty happy with it. However I need opinions on light options for the front. My bike has the CP0048 Cockpit and I already use a garmin mount.
I also already have a light with a go pro adapter, which I want to use but I cant find an option to combine a go pro mount with the already purchased garmin mount from canyon.
Do you have any ideas? A friend of mine printed a few prototypes which combines the mount and a go pro adapter but they where not very durable. If there is a possibility I would like to safe some money instead of buying a new adapter.
If there is no workaround then I would appreciate if you can suggest some good working models.
Thanks in advance!

I couldn't find a clean way to mount my Wahoo radar on the Aeroad, so I designed and printed my own holder (photos attached).
Bike: Canyon Aeroad CFR 2025, pink
Radar: Wahoo TRACKR Radar
Mounting: seat post
Slotted holes let you adjust height and angle

Hey everyone,
I’d really appreciate some real-world input from anyone riding the current Canyon Grail or who has experience comparing these builds.
The Situation:
I just received a brand-new Grail CF 7 with mechanical Shimano GRX 1x12. I actually love the bike itself, but the drivetrain is driving me crazy:
This isn’t my first Canyon arriving with drivetrain alignment issues out of the box, and my patience with mechanical cable stretch and bent derailleur hangers is basically gone. I’m currently deciding whether to initiate a 30-day return or upgrade to an electronic build.
My Profile & Use Case:
My Questions for the Community:
Is making the jump to the CF 7 Speed worth the price bump to finally get a quiet, hassle-free gravel bike or just ask somebody with competence to fix my GRX and forget the Upgrade!?
Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I bought my Aeroad CF SLX 8 di2 2026 in crystal white February this year, and the metallic acid was released some months later.
I really like the metallic acid, and it annoys me that this wasn’t an option when i bought mine. I’ve ridden my bike outdoors around 1700km, but it’s well maintained.
Would it be stupid to sell my bike just to buy the exact same one in a different color? Has anyone been in the same situation?
I’m worried that I’m just overthinking, but this annoys me more than I’d expect.
In general, extremely happy with the bike.
FYI, i have DT swiss ARC 1400, while the current configuration is ARC 1600 on the website. That doesn’t really bother me

Hi all, my 2027 Endurace CF SLX 8 Di2 arrives soon, and Canyon confirmed no tools come with it. I want to carry a multitool, tubeless plug kit, CO2 + inflator, a TPU tube and maybe a mini pump, all inside the frame.
A photo of your setup or the underside of the door would help a lot. Thanks!

Hi everyone!
I’m currently hesitating between the Canyon Endurace AllRoad and the Nakamura Allroad 250, and I’d love to hear your opinions and real-world experiences with these bikes!
My riding would be roughly 80% road and 20% gravel, with some commuting as well. Most of my sporty rides will be on tarmac, including group rides with friends who ride road bikes. I’d like to be able to keep up with them reasonably well, including on climbs, which is also why I’m leaning towards a 2x drivetrain.
At the same time, I want to be able to venture onto gravel paths and forest trails without having to worry too much about the terrain. I’m not looking for a pure road bike, but I do want something that feels efficient and enjoyable on tarmac.
My feeling is that the Canyon might be better suited to my needs, as it seems to have a more road-oriented geometry, whereas the Nakamura feels more like a dedicated gravel bike. However, the Allroad 250 also seems to offer a very compelling spec for the price!
Which one would you choose for this kind of riding? In particular, I’d love to hear from owners about how these bikes perform on pure road rides: efficiency, comfort, handling, and how they feel when riding at a decent pace. I’d also be especially interested in hearing about their climbing performance, particularly when riding alongside people on road bikes.
P.S. I’m also considering the Giant Revolt 1, Kona Rove and Van Rysel Sword. If you have experience riding any of these on tarmac, I’d love to hear your thoughts too! My main concern is that they might be a little too gravel-oriented for my predominantly road-based riding.
Thanks in advance!
