Notes from an Oshkosh, WI born and raised Brewer fan now living in LA from Dodger Stadium Game 3

What an experience, went to their match up in the 2018 playoffs and the feeling was NOTHING like yesterday. Here are some friendly (lol) notes from sitting in the bleachers of Game 3.

-Misssed the Churrio home run due to be blocked by a Dodger fan who was just getting to his seat, which was happneing pretty much all throughout innings 1-6, NOT kidding, people were still JUST getting to their seats in the 6th, in a game 3, of an LDS. No joke saw a couple get there in the 6th, the dude just talks shit THE WHOLE TIME HE WAS THERE, and then they BAILED in the 7th. Dodger fans get a lot of shit for this, but here's the thing, THEY SHOULD!!

-I've never heard so much WHINING from a fan base during the game, wow, and I lived in Chicago for many years. Throughout the game, every time Brewers did something good it was becaues the Dodgers screwed up not because we were kicking their ass.

-With Dodgers up 2-1 going into the 7th, the shit talking really ramped up. Dodger fans crowing, "Brewers Suck" "Brewers have never won a World Series", when they noticed I wasn't really reacting to their insults, they moved onto OTHER sports, "Giannis Left Milwaukee" some other guy said. Ummm ok dudes, we're literally watching baseball here and now you're reaching. It's like they only go to these games to talk shit, none of them are actually watching the game.

-I DID get to see the back to back jacks and wow did I feel great, EVERYONE around me shut the fuck up on the first one, and after the second one they filed out with their heads down. Even with their team down only 2 runs at that moment and 9 whole outs to go, people fucking left, I couldn't believe it, I've never seen a fan base just bail on their team like that, IN THE PLAYOFFS!!

-After the loss, the shit talk turned into bragging about their past wins "Ah well, we've won even World Series this decade" Good for you guys!

So all of this to say I had a wonderful time seeing these bandwagon, stay for 2 innings, shit talking, know-nothing-about baseball losers fall to a 3-0 to my mighty Brewers. They will never understand how hard it is to be competitve in baseball, and their fans act like the spoiled 5 year old brats they really are.

I had to report that everything people bitch about Dodger fans are 100% TRUE!!

GO BREWERS!!!!!!!

Today's game will consist of 2 winning numbers, first to pick either winning numbers will have first card selection. Since nobody won yesterday my wife figured that I should lower the number range so tonight's number guess is between 1 and 2000. I was asked before how I come with numbers and its just me asking my wife or kids and tonight's numbers were given to me from my two daughters that are off to college. And no im not trying karma farm I just wanto do good deeds and support our Brew crew. With that said good luck, thanks for playing and GO BREWERS let finish this tonight. I don't know what happened to my picture but there's 2 cards I will add a picture of the other card when I can

The contrast between handling Yelich and Ohtani is so stark.

Murph having the courage/ability to sit his captain, who has been red hot, because he felt like Vaughn gave the team a better shot says so much about this organization.

So much respect should be given to Yelich for his willingness to put the team first and let his manager do what he needs to do.

My wife was flabbergasted when she saw Garrett Mitchell's ass

I mean give me a break. she doesnt even care about baseball and walks in and saw him during his home run and was shocked. I get acknowledging it but i mean it gets to a point. You dont have to be so blown away. I was thinking of going to a WS game if we make it but at this point I dont think I can take my wife.

We have a chance to make history tonight. I don't want to jinx it and say we will, but I'm very optimistic. RIP UECK

Our cart got way too far ahead of our horse overnight

I’m guilty of it, the timing of WS tickets going on sale is fueling it, national media is fueling it (I.e. Talkin’ Baseball declared the series over)

we still have to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers and I’m afraid we are now considering that a foregone conclusion

deep breaths everyone. or maybe I’m just talking to myself

Can we all stop with this whiney, "the media doesn't love us narrative"?

Seriously, yes, Smoltz is a tool about it. But in the post game stuff last night they certainly were not overtly biased. Ortiz spent a TON of time talking about the Brewers. He called Bauers' two ABs two of the best he has ever seen. Burkhard then repeatedly brought up that Bauers had done that exact same thing earlier in the season. They all couldn't say enough about how great Murphy is. They kept talking about how confident we look and how great we are.

You guys realize though that it's NOT a home broadcast, right? They aren't just going to spend the entire segment talking about us. They have to bring up the Dodgers and paths to come back. That's just how those programs work.

We are up 3-0 in the NLCS against the team that swept us last year. Enjoy the moment and stop worrying about what they are/aren't saying. Also, who gives a fuck who they pick before the game. It's absolutely meaningless.

Brewers Vs Dodgers Interviews

Has anyone else noticed this? There’s been a lot of talk about the Brewers being a true team and how much they play for one another. I genuinely think that culture starts from the top down.

But what I find fascinating is listening to the postgame interviews and hearing how differently players on the two teams talk about the game.

For example, Snell talks about his performance in terms of himself: “I hadn’t given up a home run all year,” “I thought I could make that pitch,” and “I thought I pitched well.”

Then you listen to the Brewers, and everything is about the guy next to them. Bauers talks about the team going to bat for Uribe. Other guys talk about doing whatever it takes to move a runner into scoring position so the next guy can drive him in. There are so many examples.

It's just fascinating as a sports fan to see how a team's chemistry shows up not only in how they play, but also in how they talk about each other.

I'm sure winning makes all of this easier, but there's something really cool about watching a group of guys who genuinely seem to care more about each other's success than their own.

Do not buy on the secondary market today

The scalpers are banking on you panicking and buying right now. The next couple days will probably be the peak in price before they come back down some. They'll still be expensive but do not drop 2 grand on 400 level today.

Brewers fan from Korea checking in! 🇰🇷🍺

I’ve been riding with the Brewers since 2007, from a country that basically turns into the Republic of Dodgers every October 😂

Seriously, it feels like 90% of baseball fans around me are Dodgers fans.

And somehow, after all these years of being the weird Korean Brewers guy…

WE’RE HERE.

Also, yes — I’m a Packers fan and a Bucks fan too.

At this point, I think Wisconsin just adopted me without telling me.

I’m insanely excited right now.

One more step. Let’s freaking go, Milwaukee. 🍺⚾
