Need some advice
Hello everyone, I have a small oven and a refrigerator in my little flower shop, and currently I only have one small 4-inch baking pan/mold. I’m a complete beginner in baking. I’m not sure what I should try first, and I don’t know what pans/molds and ingredients I should buy first, so I’d like to ask for some practical and sensible advice.
This was my first time trying to make an apple pie, and it was obvious that my technique—from making the dough to assembling it—was very unpolished. I’d like to ask friends with experience: In my situation, as someone just starting to learn baking, what should I practice first? What pans/molds and ingredients should I buy first? Thank you very much!

Final Outcome of the "Dolly's Coconut Cake" from Duncan Hines
galleryNot quite a baking noob as much as a first time making a layer cake :)
This is the Duncan Hines "Dolly Parton's Coconut Cake" that was weirdly thick and only fit in one cake round.
I made it "Dolly's Way" with vanilla pudding mixed with a dash of burbon vanilla and coconut flakes between the 4 layers I cut from the one round. I then frosted with Duncan Hines Lemon Supreme and topped with more coconut.
Tastes really good :)

Ice Cream Cake Advice!
Before I start, I want to say I do not bake cakes. My boyfriend is a big fan of One Piece and I wanted to make him a devil fruit cake for his birthday that looks like this inspo picture. The problem is, he only likes ice cream cake. Is it possible for me to make a homemade ice cream cake shaped like a sphere? If so, how would I layer it?? Please help!!

I made dinner from scratch the other night!!!
I made a cheddar tomato pasta, homemade garlic knots with homemade garlic butter on top, and hot chocolate red velvet brookies🫶(brownie&cookie)
I made the dough for the garlic knots from scratch but unfortunately forgot to measure how much flour I used. I used homemade heavy cream since we were out and followed a recipe I followed on tik tok. And the brookies I made from scratch but don’t remember what I changed about the original recipe.
P.S. this only my 3rd time making dough so I’ll take any tips!

Pie crust always leaking butter and bubbling in oven
Hi there!
Every time I go to par-bake and/or blind bake my pie crust it ALWAYS ends up leaking butter and bubbling. Tonight was the closest I’ve gotten but it still leaked a little butter and even after my second bake without pie weights there was still a sheen melted butter all over.
I’ve been following Erin McDowell’s recipe and I make sure everything is extremely cold (I only use frozen butter), I grate 80% of my butter and then press the other 20% into large pieces to the size of walnut halves as she instructs, I make sure to rest my dough properly and to not rush, I dock all over and use either rice, beans, or sugar as pie weights, and I bake my crust directly from the fridge after resting for over an hour. I then bake at 425.
Does anyone know what might be happening?
Here’s her recipe:

I’m about to give up on pies for good 😭

Banana cake
I’ve made cake with fruit before but I’ve never tried using bananas because I always saved those for banana bread. It’s a very simple banana cake with cream cheese frosting. This is very similar to banana bread so I totally recommend if you enjoy that!

Is banana bread crust supposed to be this dark?
I did the tips everybody recommended, I put a tray in the bottom of the oven, baked it in a lighter pan and heightened the rack, but I think it still might be a bit dark? I just wanna make sure if it’s fine just in case.

Chocolate Butter Cheese Cake! Pity the cream cheese layer didn't stay in the center but the taste blew me away! It's moist, soft, chocolaty, creamy and not too sweet, we are in love! ❤️ This is coming from a person who hates chocolate cakes 😂

4-ingredients Oreo Bloody Cake
I turned Golden Oreos red to make this easy 4-ingredient Halloween Oreo cake! With just a few simple ingredients, you won’t spend all day in the kitchen. Topped with black icing and a cherry drizzle spiderweb, it’s an easy Halloween dessert that kids can help make and decorate! 🎃
🕸️ CAKE INGREDIENTS
• 24 Golden Oreos, including the cream filling
• 1 cup of Milk
• 1 tsp of Baking powder
• Red food coloring (4-5 drops)
OPTIONAL DECORATION
• Black icing for the spiderweb
The cake itself uses 4 ingredients; the icing is an extra decoration.
Would you make this for Halloween? Tell us in the comments!

Pumpkin muffins
I’m so glad I can finally make fall treats now! These are delicious. Also don’t mind the look of some of my mini muffins, I overfilled them because I didn’t have enough muffin pans and I was not about to waste any batter lol

Another cookie cake attempt
I am so proud, I just had to share! I have to work on spacing and do a little better job pre-planning, but overall, I'm super excited to bring this to my cousin's baby shower!

Made my first angel food cake for strawberry shortcake
The instructions said to cool the cake upside down and I felt silly trying to figure that out but I did and it made sense. I’m also so proud of how it turned out

Hopped in on the pumpkin donuts trend 🎃
Took me 3 attempts because they kept being raw after frying😫
Now left with a very smelly kitchen and a burned finger✌🏻
