Hey everyone,
I’m a Massachusetts dad of four kids under 8 years old, balancing a full-time career, running a lawn improvement side hustle, raising my kids, volunteering as Treasurer for a local autism non-profit and tackling just about every DIY project I can get my hands on.
One of my sons has autism, he is level 3 non-verbal autistic, and being a dad has taught me more about patience, perspective, and what really matters than anything else in my life.
A few months ago, I entered the Ace Hardware SuperDad competition, never expecting much to come of it, and really just as an alternative to applying for autism grants since so many have income requirements that make us ineligible.
With the help of family and friends I made it all the way to the Group Finals and I’ve been in first place for most of the competition, but recently slipped into second.
Now I’m trying to reach a few people beyond my usual circle.
The winner receives $25,000 and a chance to appear in a national Ace Hardware commercial. While I know it’s a total longshot, I’d be remiss if I didn’t try to win this money mainly to support my autistic son’s expensive medical costs.
**I’m not asking anyone to spend money.** The competition allows one free vote every 24 hours, although it does require Facebook verification.
If my story resonates with you and you’d like to help another dad out, I’d genuinely appreciate a free vote.

Voting for this round ends Thursday, October 15, at 10 PM Eastern.
Thanks for reading, and thanks to everyone who supports dads showing up for their families every day.
