Hi everyone! I recently purchased a Dr.Melaxin kit from TikTok shop. I was curious if they changed one of the item to say “Cemenrete Cyano Pink Spicule” to “Serum Cyano Pink Spicule Serum? because Ive seen two different versions or is there a reason for this?

Discussion What’s your K-skincare nostalgic/comfort scent?

Not a scent from a perfume or mist --just regular skincare products that instantly relax you or something that's nostalgic.

For me, Innisfree always hits that gentle, fresh spot, and the ginseng Sulwhasoo scent is pure comfort because it reminds me of my grandma.

Discussion Asian beauty dupe for Becca’s under eye corrector?

Hii
Does anyone know an Asian Beauty dupe for Becca’s brightening under eye corrector? Specifically one that also has light reflecting qualities?
I really like this color corrector, but since Becca exited Sephora it’s been a bit difficult to buy since I live in Asia. Does anyone know of any similar products? Would really appreciate it!
Thank you!

Discussion Sunscreen Phases 😭😂

Is it just me, or do you have phases with different sunscreen brands and markets?

There was a single year where I was obsessed with Japanese sunscreens, love their texture and all… then I went for Korean sunscreens and just wore only Korean sunscreens because it felt like absolutely nothing on my skin… then I had a European sunscreen obsession because of their high UVA protection among all..

I’m Australian so I do occasionally come back to our own, and we’ve been really making advancements with new formulas and cool innovations so I have had periods where I like ours

But… yet again I think I’m going back for the Japanese sunscreens because it just had the single most benefits for me and I think they were the easiest to wear consistently when some others were more or less annoying to me. Korean sunscreens are good too, but there is just something about Japanese sunscreens and how cooling they are for the skin

I stay inside often so I don’t think the minor UVA exposure is going to affect me so deeply when I am only exposed if I am close to a window (not often). If I were to go outside for long periods I’d rely on more heavy duty UVA strong sunscreens

Right now I’m thinking about going back to the Skin Aqua Serum SPF50, absolutely fabulous to wear. It is coming to summer here in Australia so a comfortable sunscreen is better than inconsistent or none for me

Requesting Reviews Curel Oil Control Gel Moisturizer. Do you like it? has it been good for your skin?

Acne-prone and treating mild and sometimes moderate acne. Skin is not oily and not dry, so I guess, skin is normal.

Curel Oil Control Weightless Gel Moisturizer.

Japanese moisturizer - Active ingredient: Allantoin.

Other Ingredients: Purified Water, Glycerin, BG, Dimethicone, Eucalyptus Extract, Hexadeciloxy PG Hydroxyethyl Hexadecanamide, Long Chain Dibasic Acid Bis 3-Methoxypropylamide, 10-Hydroxyundecanoic Acid, Zn Oxide, Stearoylmethyl Taurine Na, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, acrylic acid, alkyl methacrylate copolymer, arginine, parapen

It's so interesting that Allantoin is an active ingredient.

Does anyone really know how things work in Japan? At what % does a brand need to report an ingredient as an active? or does anyone knows what is the % of Allantoin in this moisturizer? I'm curious because it's an active ingredient.

Is it a good moisturizer for acne-prone skin or when treating mild or moderate acne? how is your experience with the Allantoin? does the Allantoin makes a difference or is it a marketing thing?

Please share with me everything about this Curel Sebum Trouble Care Moisture Facial Gel. Is it any good?

Discussion Why iunik beta glucan line has such low concentrations of beta glucan?

Beta glucan is the star of the whole line and IUNIK markets beta glucan as the reason these products are good.

But look at the concentrations:
- Serum: 160,000ppb (note is ppB, parts per billion, not ppm)
- Cream: 60,000ppb
- Sunscreen: 1,000 ppb

Aren't they too low? For example, the 160000 ppb of the serum equals 0.016%
What do you think?

Discussion Looking for a certain sticky, heavily hydrating Japanese lotion

Hi, I know that product requests usually go in the daily thread, but I have asked there before and didn't get any answers. I hope this is okay.

I got some Japanese skincare samples. They came in long rectangular white packets. Each had a different colored floral motif - the lotion in question was pink and rose themed, and I'm pretty sure the cleanser was purple. The lotion was clear and a little thick, rose scented, and it went on very sticky and heavy on that squeaky-slippery glycerin feel. It was really wonderful for the dry winter air and I'd love to find it (or something similar). It may have been from Kracie but I'm not confident on that.

TIA for any suggestions.

Requesting Reviews Oil free sunscreen recommendations?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for to try more Asian sunscreens, preferably water & sweat resistant ones but I don’t know where to start looking, the only one I’ve tried and like is the Purito daily soft touch sunscreen. Oil in my skincare breaks me out so what oil-free sunscreens do you recommend? I’d also love to know how they look/feel on you (is there a white cast, is it dewy or matte, etc.) Thanks in advance!

Has anyone tried this new version that now comes without a pump? Do you feel like it’s very different from the OG? I really love this BB cream but now I’m a bit scared to order it.
