The first 7 images are from Procreate. I later switched to paper because it felt more natural to me. Images are in chronological order.

Yoshitaka Amano is my favorite artist. I copy his work first, then try to redraw it from memory.

I sometimes go back and forth between thin line art and soft coloring VS thick line art and hard shading… I’ve been drawing in the thick line art style recently to see how I like it (and also using references/bases for poses)

Also, I’m not looking for critique. I’m already aware of what I need to improve on. Just sharing works.

Drawing every day until I don’t suck. Month 3

While some days definitely tested my patience, Im still very happy with my progress!!! My big guy has come such a long way since the beginning! If this is what my work looks like at the end of year two, I can't wait to see what it will look like at the end of year three!!!!
