Hope it’s okay to post this, anything you grab can sound like a lightsaber! I’ve been having a tom of fun with it, it detects swings, clashes, has Action Button support, stays on when you move around, etc…

It works perfectly, its very clicky, i am happy with it. My only concern is that if its actually not supposed to be so far out that might be a point of entry for water. Is it the same on your watches?

I purchased the Series 12 (GPS) 42mm black aluminum and I’m enjoying it so far!

Are there any tips or tricks about the watch I should know about? I just spent about one hour reading the guide and messing with settings in the Watch app and on the watch itself.

My dad had a bad fall yesterday and went into the trauma ER yesterday. Just a couple of hours ago, we received messages that a bad fall was detected through the Apple Watch and when I checked the location of it, it was going down a highway driving near an airport before his watch died. We locked it and put it in lost mode and rang the ringer before it died. I messaged the emt that took my dad into the hospital (he called me earlier to tell me what was going on) & he told me he saw it on my dad before he left the hospital. The charge nurse only noted that it had my dads phone on him. What more can I do to figure out what happened? Do hospitals have cameras?

I don’t have any but am curious if there are some good ones. Which do you all like. I have a bunch of Apple Watch bands and love most of the quality on them all.

I have a Series 8 GPS + Cellular (aluminum) that is at 76% battery health. So, it should qualify for a battery replacement, which would be a refurbished model, for $135 CAD. A new Series 12 would be $749 CAD. I am happy with the functionality of this model, but sometimes the battery isn’t lasting a full day at this point.

Does it make sense to do a battery replacement now or save that money towards a new watch purchase when this one dies?

Just needed to say how surprised and happy I am with this cheap $10 magnetic sports band I got off Amazon. Had been using the default Apple rubber band and thought it was comfy but never fully fit perfectly. I found myself always switching between using the 4th or 5th hole, cause sometimes I wanted it looser and other times more tight.

But then I randomly decided to buy this cheap $10 sports band off a whim, and after half a day can already tell a huge difference. The fit is so much better and more comfortable that I can hardly tell I’m wearing my larger S11 watch, which is amazing!

Hi everyone! I recently bought an Apple Watch Series 11 42mm.

I'm experiencing inconsistent battery life:

• Overnight battery drain varied significantly: 19% over approximately 6 hours on the first night, but only 4% drain over approximately 9 hours the next night after updating to watchOS 27.0.1.
• One day, it dropped from 37% to 5% in around 10 hours of usage, with AOD off and three Outdoor Walk workouts totalling 56 minutes.
• Charging from 3% to 80% took approximately 55 minutes using Apple's 20W adapter and supplied charging cable, when compared to Apple's advertised claim of 0 to 80% in 30 Mins.

Battery health shows 100%.

For other Series 11 owners, are these results normal? Have you experienced similar issues with watchOS 27.0.1?

Hi everyone

Is there a way of getting Siri to show something without having to change the watch face and then back again? Is this a bug?

Years ago I got an Apple Watch Series 6 as a gift, and it's what got me back into sport: first a few easy runs, then some bike rides, then some bodyweight workouts. Over time I came to appreciate the sport itself far more than just tracking my progress. Time went by, and my Apple Watch helped with everything, from work reminders to sports metrics to controlling my AirPods. But the battery started to give out, and since I'd become a passionate cyclist by then, I switched to a Garmin Forerunner. It's a solid watch, especially for sport, but definitely limited for everything else, though I have to admit the battery lasted a week or more.
Then I moved on to the new Google Fitbit Air, which was also quite nice (mostly because it let me wear my mechanical watches), but despite the excellent app, it didn't fully convince me either. So I decided to go back to Apple with the new Apple Watch Series 12, and it honestly feels like coming home. The battery is surprising (for an Apple Watch), and now I have to dig into all the new features. I have to admit it's a really nice product.

My series 10 button is stuck (pressed down permanently), I have AppleCare+ will the staff replace it for me for a fee or will they just repair it on the spot?

I had my 8 since it came out and worked fine most of the time with a few hiccups. I use it daily for fitness tracking for which HR readings are pretty important.

Quite suspiciously since the new “improved HR sensor” came out, this one barely tracks my HR, like 40% of my runs have missing readings. I’m not doing anything different, I clean them after every run.

Anyone else noticing the same thing?

So, I decided to wear my Apple Watch to sleep, and yes I had a rough night, but that doesn’t really matter. However, I just checked my sleep scores and there’s a quite weird issue, it doesn’t seem to be the same between my iPhone and my Apple Watch. My iPhone’s showing a score of 43/100, while my Apple Watch added 30 extra points. (Ignore the state of my watch btw).
Does anyone know what may be causing this?

After lot of research finally got the Series 12 46mm GPS. Need some help finding bands for it, I am thinking of getting the nike sports loop or the apple watch ultra desert alpine loop. Would Apple Watch Ultra bands work and fit fine on 46mm.
