I'm actually pretty exhausted when it comes to this season. It's not even because of the 2 eps that aired today I thought they were ok, it's just. I feel like they could have done so much more with this season and it being this late into the season, only 3 eps late there's not much left to wonder why it took this long for us to finally get a full understanding as to what is happening. It's like 1-6 was this fever dream of things happening, u wouldn't really understand it until the last few eps. I always been so positive about this season and base off of my posts I made in the past I do have understanding of what they are doing, I don't think it's as bad of a season as everyone on reddit and other sites would say, but it could have been so much more.
The eps being so short, the plot moving so slow yet being all over the place, it's like this season was made with 8 to 7 eps in mind. I don't think anyone would feel the way they do about this season if it was given it's original eps, instead of them cutting these eps into pieces to make it 13.
Now on to 9-10:
9: the ben, constance, devil stuff have been the worst part of this season, but I think this eps was the best involving the 3 because it actually explained everything that was going on. I feel like they should have gave us this explanation early on. Ep.5 could have really used this much plot focus instead of whatever the fuck that ep was. The whole thing with constance was good, but oh my Lord why the fuck did they cast this dude as the devil. I haven't seen this level of bad acting in american horror story since double feature dead valley. Even that wasn't as bad as this dude acting. Having him act side by side with Jessica lange who have to try and carry this dude through a scene because he can't act for shit is crazy. U can tell Ryan put him in that role because of his looks, the ben actor ain't doing that much better but least I can deal with it, this dude wow. The big twist of the devil being constance father can either be really dumb as fuck or really dumb as fuck. I don't have much hope they are going to do this right whatsoever, but I would love to be wrong, god I hope I am.
Ep.10:
Another plot focus ep. I will admit I do like how this ep was wrapped up. They wrapped up everything from apocalypse very nicely in this episode.
Papa legba remembering the events from apocalypse, mallory remembering but not telling although I would have preferred if she got slapped for that because madison did something similar in apocalypse and she got the taste knocked out or her. This was a pretty ok ep thats leading us into the next battle.
I don't think I need to answer any questions for this because if u don't know even after these 2 eps then just drop the show.

Not really sure how the staircase fits being as there no round shaped exterior but I’d make it work

When we are introduced to the witches and the concept of the Supreme, we learn that two complete Supremes cannot coexist. For one to inherit the powers, the other must gradually lose hers, a process that ultimately ends in her death.
This remains the case until the end of Coven. However, in Roanoke, we are introduced to Scáthach, whom Ryan Murphy confirms to be the first Supreme.
And this is where the problem begins. After all, she is still alive. Scáthach is not a spirit, but an immortal being. So how could her powers have been passed down to the witches of Salem?
But let's assume he changed his mind and abandoned that idea.
The problem persists because we are introduced to Mallory, who becomes the Supreme in Apocalypse following Cordelia's death. However, she then travels back in time and remains there. She doesn't transfer her consciousness into a past version of herself, she physically travels back to that point in time.
At this point, Cordelia is still alive and has not lost her powers. Therefore, there is no way for Mallory's status as Supreme to revert to its previous state. And the series has yet to answer, and that's assuming it ever will, whether Mallory simply lost her status or still retains it, meaning there are now two Supremes existing simultaneously.
And then 13 comes along and complicates things even further. Cordelia dies. We know that, upon her death, the entirety of her power should have passed to her successor. However, nothing seems to have happened, and she appears to have been resurrected with her status intact.
And now we have Fiona back, who also seems to have returned with all her powers intact.
So this leaves us with one question: how exactly does the status of Supreme work?

Like Murphy wth? We need her! The Coven needs her! Papa Legba needs her! Literally everyone needs her!

I love how anticlimactic the Apocalypse reveal was - Mallory was like "we've all met before and y'all died, not me tho =P I killed the Antichrist and here we are" and everybody was like "ok =)))))))"

Not sure if it’s a gay premonition but the lack of Mallory for all unused Coven scenes has me thinking they’ll kill her to make Cordelia stronger. Just a vibe.

So I'm rewatching freak show. Stanley threatens Dell and asks him to bring him the body of a freak for his collection. He told him to bring the body to the meeting point that is miles away.
Then Dell tries to kill Amazon Eve. Like that's his first choice? A super tall and strong woman that actually kicks his ass? Why not go for Ma Petite or Pepper or Salty first? It would have been so much easier.
It's like asking him to rob a bank, and he chooses the one with super advanced protection technology instead of the one with the door wide open and no security.
Is it just bad writing or is there some I'm missing here? How did he think killing a super strong woman and dragging her body for miles would have been an easy task?

So in AHS, Pius XII tried to perform an exorcism with Sister Pascalina, but failed, and he caught an illness. That is why Sister Pascalina did a lot of things instead of the Pope... Interesting

Am I alone in thinking these latest two episodes finally brought us back on track?? I’m genuinely curious what other fans are thinking?

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts expressing disappointment or outright hate for this season, and honestly, I get it. So far, it could’ve been a LOT better in many ways. There are definitely things that could’ve been handled differently.
But with all that said, I’m curious: what are you actually enjoying about this season so far? What are some moments, storylines, characters, or little details that have worked for you?
I mean, we’re all here because we love this franchise, right? That’s probably why we’re so passionate and reactive when things don’t live up to our expectations. But we’ve waited so long for this, and I think it’s okay to acknowledge the flaws while still appreciating the things that are working.
Not every season has to be perfect for us to find something worth loving about it. And sometimes, with all the criticism flying around, I think it’d be nice to hear what people are genuinely enjoying, too.
So let’s spread a little positivity! No hate, no fighting, just love. ❤️
Peace out!

Ben's identity revealed and being protected by the Coven maybe because he wants nothing to do with the Apocalypse.
Mallory the Marty because let's be honest this entire season and why the Coven is being attacked is her fault also since she's not in the leaked iconic witches walk my prediction still stands she's dying.
Marie Lavaue and Papa Legba Deal
Cordelia meeting with Mr. Nas
It will definitely end on a cliffhanger
Anyone else have similar predictions?

Her ability was detecting dangers, not just being gluten-free. They didn't have to retcon her ability just because time was reversed. That's my two cents.

So, alongside watching AHS 13, I decided to watch the three seasons I never got around to watching. Those seasons are Hotel, NYC, and Delicate. I'm on NYC now and I'm really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the storyline? I was expecting it to be kinda bottom tier and to just feel cheap/gross/torture porn-y. I'm actually invested in characters and curious to see what happens next. It feels like a departure from previous AHS seasons, but in a good way. I thought the same thing about Delicate, but thought that didn't always work in its favor lol. The killer in NYC feels multi-dimensional, which I wouldn't have guessed was possible...The story has some real weight/heaviness and it's a big upgrade from Double Feature, which turned me off the show for a while. Also super happy to see Patti LuPone and Sandra Bernhard. I'm 5 episodes in... Without spoilers, what are y'all's thoughts on this season?

I just finished season 2, and…whew. Pretty much anything that could happen, did happen. It was a whirlwind of an experience. We had Anne Frank that WASNT Anne Frank. Psycho Santa. Devil possession. Ryan Murphy just threw in a bit of everything 😭. Also getting to see the Name Game in its context was very needed, I wasn’t aware of how dark Asylum was. Really good, but I feel like it got kind of hard to follow. I will say though, I feel like Bloodyface was kind of random in the overarching plot.
As for performance? Obviously I loved Sarah Paulson as Lana Winters and Jessica Lange as Sister Jude, but my overall favorite was Lily Rabe as Sister Mary Eunice, the way she could go from the terrifying, possessed nun to the real, scared Sister Mary at the drop of a hat was absolutely incredible, and I really enjoyed Evan Peters as Kit too.
I will say though, I’m still confused on what the roles of those alien things were. And with Grace, Alma, and Kit, when they raised their kids together…what was their relationship? was it a polycule like thing?
Let me know your thoughts!
