When we are introduced to the witches and the concept of the Supreme, we learn that two complete Supremes cannot coexist. For one to inherit the powers, the other must gradually lose hers, a process that ultimately ends in her death.
This remains the case until the end of Coven. However, in Roanoke, we are introduced to Scáthach, whom Ryan Murphy confirms to be the first Supreme.
And this is where the problem begins. After all, she is still alive. Scáthach is not a spirit, but an immortal being. So how could her powers have been passed down to the witches of Salem?
But let's assume he changed his mind and abandoned that idea.
The problem persists because we are introduced to Mallory, who becomes the Supreme in Apocalypse following Cordelia's death. However, she then travels back in time and remains there. She doesn't transfer her consciousness into a past version of herself, she physically travels back to that point in time.
At this point, Cordelia is still alive and has not lost her powers. Therefore, there is no way for Mallory's status as Supreme to revert to its previous state. And the series has yet to answer, and that's assuming it ever will, whether Mallory simply lost her status or still retains it, meaning there are now two Supremes existing simultaneously.
And then 13 comes along and complicates things even further. Cordelia dies. We know that, upon her death, the entirety of her power should have passed to her successor. However, nothing seems to have happened, and she appears to have been resurrected with her status intact.
And now we have Fiona back, who also seems to have returned with all her powers intact.
So this leaves us with one question: how exactly does the status of Supreme work?

Not sure if it’s a gay premonition but the lack of Mallory for all unused Coven scenes has me thinking they’ll kill her to make Cordelia stronger. Just a vibe.

So I'm rewatching freak show. Stanley threatens Dell and asks him to bring him the body of a freak for his collection. He told him to bring the body to the meeting point that is miles away.
Then Dell tries to kill Amazon Eve. Like that's his first choice? A super tall and strong woman that actually kicks his ass? Why not go for Ma Petite or Pepper or Salty first? It would have been so much easier.
It's like asking him to rob a bank, and he chooses the one with super advanced protection technology instead of the one with the door wide open and no security.
Is it just bad writing or is there some I'm missing here? How did he think killing a super strong woman and dragging her body for miles would have been an easy task?

Her ability was detecting dangers, not just being gluten-free. They didn't have to retcon her ability just because time was reversed. That's my two cents.

I swear that tower’s where Tattoo yells “the plane! The plane!,” but that it was on the right side.

Ben's identity revealed and being protected by the Coven maybe because he wants nothing to do with the Apocalypse.
Mallory the Marty because let's be honest this entire season and why the Coven is being attacked is her fault also since she's not in the leaked iconic witches walk my prediction still stands she's dying.
Marie Lavaue and Papa Legba Deal
Cordelia meeting with Mr. Nas
It will definitely end on a cliffhanger
Anyone else have similar predictions?

obviously there is no fixing this chaos lol, but if you were given the task to go in and change the storyline/characters so that all the seasons could connect in a easy to follow way, how would you go about it?
I would have it be something to do with the returning actors and how they all tend to play similair-ish characters in each season theyre in. have Elsa, Jude, and constance all be one of the same soul or something in different times, same with the other characters.
the only problem I think would be situations where characters co-exist, like Lana and Ally in cult.

So, alongside watching AHS 13, I decided to watch the three seasons I never got around to watching. Those seasons are Hotel, NYC, and Delicate. I'm on NYC now and I'm really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the storyline? I was expecting it to be kinda bottom tier and to just feel cheap/gross/torture porn-y. I'm actually invested in characters and curious to see what happens next. It feels like a departure from previous AHS seasons, but in a good way. I thought the same thing about Delicate, but thought that didn't always work in its favor lol. The killer in NYC feels multi-dimensional, which I wouldn't have guessed was possible...The story has some real weight/heaviness and it's a big upgrade from Double Feature, which turned me off the show for a while. Also super happy to see Patti LuPone and Sandra Bernhard. I'm 5 episodes in... Without spoilers, what are y'all's thoughts on this season?

I just rewatched the season and I was wondering if there are any theories around the power of the sight she gains when she loses her vision.

The two episodes tonight have made me so nostalgic and have made me second guess my decision to delete all of the stories I had written.

That’s it. That’s the post.
Fiona Goode and The Axeman in Coven, then Elsa Mars and Massimo Dolcefino in Freakshow. Love them as a couple.

In light of the new season airing, I’ve been watching AHS more or less consistently since it started and with the last two seasons being both low-mid to just downright unbearable, convoluted or frankly kinda crap, it puts into perspective the low points of earlier seasons like the cringe dialogue of Coven or the horrific accents of Freakshow. Makes me wonder what everybody has been feeling about the new season, it’s not even a matter of “so bad, it’s camp” like 1984 was, it’s just bad

I don't get it... when an old Supreme dies, a new one rises. Cordelia died, so a new supreme had to rise.
Buut, Fiona was alive when Cordelia was dead, and Fiona is clearly god tier powerful again, so does that make her the supreme now?
There's also Mallory to complicate things further. She was a Supreme for like 0,15 seconds in an alternate timeline before going back in time when Supreme Mallory met Supreme Cordelia...
