Support - SOLVED! Asus b850m WiFi 7 Bluetooth not Working

• Upvotes

Making this post because I solved a problem that I found hard to find a Reddit post explaining it well.

So if your Bluetooth/wifi drivers suddenly stopped working one day, turn off your pc, unplug the power supply, hold down your power button for 20 seconds draining the residual power, then replug it in. This reset the chip and now I have my WiFi and Bluetooth.

Support issues with my asus laptop's wifi card

so my laptop is a asus tuf Fx505dd that i bought back in the start of 2020 and over the last couple years ive had issues where sometimes i couldn't get back on wifi upon waking the laptop up or where it would disconnect and just not be able to reconnect sometimes. ive managed to more or less still have it be relatively useable through driver changes and device manager power setting stuff but its gotten to the point where i pretty much can only use the laptop hardwired via ethernet and it sometimes taking 6+ restarts to get the wifi showing up again before the driver deletes itself from existence. weirdly if i have the laptop hdmi'd to my tv and just dont move it it stays connected but i cannot open the screen up or move it around at all or no wifi until i restart the entire laptop where it lasts 5 minutes if im lucky. the consensus seems that the realtek 8822ce wireless lan 802. 11ac pci-e nic card is kinda a piece of shit in general but the inconsistency regarding the movement aspect gives me pause that its not some sorta power or wiring issue that would absolutely be beyond my ability to diagnose or fix myself.

ive seen some suggestions on previous threads about replacing it with a AX210 but i get pretty confused when theres like 8 listings for that product and most of them have this massive antennae in the screenshots that absolutely could never fit inside a laptop and really dont know what to buy here. $30 ish bucks actually isnt completely insignificant to me right now so i wanted to ask about this before committing to a decision i dont know is wrong or not.

im not worried about opening the laptop up ive had to do it before because the hdd that came with this thing fucking died and needed replacing.

This ASUS laptop has i3-1115G4 CPU and exhausts air from the bottom of the screen. I am just finally trying to play some games but I saw the LCD panel was turning black by the heat. I still want to play games tho, it runs smooth as butter, any suggestions.

The screen is fine right now btw.

Discussion Asus ProArt P14 128gb in black??

Has anyone found the 2026 ASUS ProArt P14 RTX Spark with 128GB RAM in Nano Black? Every 128GB listing I find is Neo White. ASUS advertises Nano Black and up to 128GB, but I can't find both together in the US. Has anyone confirmed whether this configuration will actually be sold here?

Product Recommendation Need help deciding which is better!!

Hi everyone before I mention the two products i am looking at, I already own the 26’ Asus Zephyrus G14 with the Intel core ultra 9, 16GB ram, RTX 5070Ti and 1TB ssd.

I already owned the Zephyrus G14 and have had it for about five months now and my only real complaint is how low the ram is. 16GB for $3000 is just insane. I do like it for gaming and I do use it for lots of schoolwork, I use it heavy on AI use, lots of claude and GIS agents for big data sets. I do environmental modeling with GIS and remote sensing work too so i need my laptop to handle these things. The 16GB of Ram fills up so fast and I can tell it struggles once I have multiple things going on in the background.

My question is: Should I turn it in for the ASUS - ROG Flow Z13? It is about $700 cheaper than what I paid for this Asus G14 and I really do like the detachable Ipad style plus it has 64GB Ram which is amazing. I will be using it for gaming and the same things I mentioned before for schoolwork.

I knocked my computer off my nightstand. Is it time to buy a replacement or is there a simple fix. The screens very buggy and jittery.

Support ASUS Zenscreen mb165b shows it is connecting to my laptop, as my laptop detects it. But the screen itself remains black and the power button blinks blue. I can connect the screen via usb c into another asus laptop and the screen powers up no problem.

I have the extended warranty. I've installed the drivers via asus. I have tried with usbc as well as usbc and hdmi. None of these stop the power button from blinking blue and allowing the device to turn on. I just bought the screen as well as a proart 16.

Support My ASUS F15 Won’t Open

I’m trying to open my ASUS F15 as I ordered a 1TB stick to throw in to finally upgrade the 512GB. That and I’m finally going to try and clean it regularly as my cat loves the thing.

The problem is mine is different than all the tutorials and manuals I look up. There should be 11-12 screws and one captive to the lid, but I removed all the screws fully and there’s only 6? On top of that, it won’t pry or open easily and I don’t want to force it open.

Any suggestions? I don’t have the right pry tools but the video I watched the guy was able to just pull it open with his fingernails, I’ve tried an old plastic card and a plastic dish scraper thing but it won’t budge unless I use a tiny screwdriver (conservatively just enough to stick the card in before taking it out, I don’t want to bend/scratch/crack anything)

Support Upgrade or fix?

In 2021 I bought :

Asus VivoBook S15 15.6" Full HD Laptop (512GB) [Intel i7]

I have limited knowledge so don’t know what other specs are useful to include in this post.

In the last 3 months the battery life has become terrible, and the computer is running a bit slow.

I can handle that and it’s to be expected, but the most frustrating thing is that the keys stop working randomly on and off.

There’s nothing physically wrong with them, sometimes everything works perfectly, sometimes I have to abandon the keys altogether and dictate / use the on screen keyboard.

I have tried to fix based on recommendations from Gemini but nothing seemed to work.

Does anyone know how to fix this keyboard thing , or should I just buy a new laptop?

If I buy a new one, is it safe to sell old laptops or are there security risks?

Thank you !!! 💻

Discussion Latest Asus router firmware caused me online gaming problems on playstation - ASUS RT-AX86U PRO (reverted to last known firmware)

My ASUS RT-AX86U Pro updated to the latest firmware, Version 3.0.0.6.102_37485, and ever since, our household has been having issues connecting to online services through PlayStation, whether it’s COD or Destiny 2 (marvel rivals works fine tho).

We’ve tried many online fixes, including doing a normal router reset, factory resetting the router, making sure UPnP is enabled, and turning off AI Protection, but nothing worked.

I just downgraded the firmware back to Version 3.0.0.6.102_37436 and it works perfectly fine now. Thought I’d make a post in case someone else is experiencing a similar issue.

Discussion Does anyone know where I can find this wallpaper?

I bought a Zenbook S14, and I would love to find this default wallpaper somewhere that Asus uses to market these laptops.
