Question Is anyone else finding random subscriptions to channels they didn’t subscribe to?

It’s happened like twice to me in the past month and even more times before.

Literally never once in my 10+ years on YouTube. I can actually look through my subscriptions chronologically and remember what video I was watching that made me sub to each channel on my list.

Sometimes what happens is you subscribe to a channel years ago and never watch anything they post and they stop uploading before returning and relaunching their channel differently from what it was before and suddenly it's in your feed and you have no idea where it came from, this is what usually happens

It hasn't happened to me (that I'm aware of anyway). I'd change your password, though in case someone is using your account. I wouldn't be shocked if someone gained access to a lot of YouTube sign-ins because this seems to be happening a lot.

That's not a thing. You're either hacked, accidentally clicking subscribe, or not noticing when old channels you're subbed to rebrand.

Yup. I get subscribed to bullshit I hate and say not to recommend and unsubscribed from channels that I like. At first, I thought I was inadvertently hitting the subscribe button, but that's not the case. YouTube is a zombie company that needs to be made redundant.
