My original 360 red ringed years and years ago. I kept it because I love it. This weekend when at half price books, I saw a 360 slim and bought it.

It's wild how you can put a game in and just play. I also found myself enjoying these older games much more than a lot of the more modern games.

I tried black ops 7 a few weeks ago. It was jarring how much crap they push into your face before you can even play the game. None of that friction exists with the 360.

I'd even go as far as to say that most major games from the big name publishers have not change other than trying to figure out ways to take more of our money. They don't care about making things fun anymore. They don't innovate or anything.

My kids are loving the 360 and it's great being able to share something that is not constantly trying to sell them something or show ads.

Do you prefer the silver disc drive or the white disc drive. Personally I like both and can't decide which one looks better.

Yes, that 360 RROD'd. Then the replacement as well. Finally, my 3rd 360 was a Jasper unit (Arcade model) that still works to this day.

I got it about €35 because seller assumed controller was broken. I just got a battery pack and it's good to go! And with a CRT, I'm larping at finest.

I was wondering how much my XDK is actually worth? I've seen some on eBay in the "sold" section that were sold for numbers in the high hundreds up to 5k. What makes certain ones more valuable than others? Everything on mine seems to work just fine. It has Halo Wars installed on it accessible through the dev menu, is running the blades dashboard, and connects to wireless controllers just fine. Any insight is much appreciated! Thanks!

Hi everyone!

I have the full source code of Overcooked, and I want to port it to the Xbox 360. To do this, I need to downgrade the game from Unity 5.5 to Unity 5.4.
However, I'm stuck with two main problems:

1. Broken Scenes: When I open the game in the older version, the scenes get scrambled and the cameras stop working.

2. Script Errors: Some code files use newer features that don't exist in Unity 5.4, blocking the game from running.

Has anyone ever downgraded a project between these versions? What is the best way to fix this without breaking the game?

it keeps popping up on certain games. tonight, i formatted the hdd, redownloaded my profile, and downloaded a few games but, it keeps happening. i've tried changing my region and it didn't fix it. i bought this as a refurb from gamestop years ago but used it very little so, i don't know if it has always had this problem or not. it's a falcon motherboard.

Hi, I saw this Xbox 360 on sale for 15€ (the disc drive is broken) and thought of buying it for Peer Pressure. But I asked the seller to provide a photo of this sticker so I could see what motherboard it would have, but I’m confused, it says MFR November 2008, but it doesn’t have HDMI and power is listed as 12V - 16.5A, so is this a Xenon? If so, how likely is it to fail, and should I buy or keep looking? I don’t mind that it doesn’t have HDMI, it’s the motherboard I’m concerned about. Thanks in advance.

saw that sd vs raw 2008 game is region free and PAL will work on NTSC console but the disc i see is italy region . will it work

As you can see on the video, it just starts blinking in sync with the console and then doesn't connect. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I just recently bought an Xbox 360 as a gift for a friend and I'm trying to set it up for them right before their birthday so it's ready to go but encountering some issues. I made an account but when I try to make an Xbox live account it's telling me that this action cannot be preformed at this time and giving me an errors message of: 807B0194 I did do some google and supposedly it could be that there's an update but I haven't gotten a notification that an update is available. Is it that or may it be for some other reason. Help is deeply appreciated, would love to get this sorted before their birthday comes. Thank you again in advance.

Timeline: Friend was playing COD, normal game after random disconnection from another game, dies, and then randomly shuts off, red ring of death. Made him show the secondary error code, 0001, and then after a restart it went from flashing the RRoD to a solid orange light (standby mode.) Friend's brother thinks its an issue with the power supply, but I feel it might be with the 12v rail. Model is a Xbox 360 Jasper with a 250GB detachable HDD. Any help is greatly appreciated.
