My original 360 red ringed year and years ago. I kept it because I love it. This weekend when at half price books, I saw a 360 slim and bought it.

It's wild how you can put a game in and just play. I also found myself enjoying these older game much more than a lot of the more modern games.

I tried black ops 7 a few weeks ago. It was jarring how much crap they push into your face before you can even play the game. None of that friction exists with the 360.

I'd even go as far as to say that most major games from the big name publishers have not change other than trying to figure out ways to take more of our money. They don't care about making things fun anymore. They don't innovate or anything.

My kids are loving the 360 and it's great being able to share something that is not constantly trying to sell them something or show ads.

Took these at the 2005 E3, my very first one. I'd only get my hands on a 360 after getting married in 2006 -- it was a wedding gift from my brother-in-law :)

Yes, that 360 RROD'd. Then the replacement as well. Finally, my 3rd 360 was a Jasper unit (Arcade model) that still works to this day.

It was on for 12-hours straight yesterday.

The camera is a 2004 Sony Cyber-shot P41 (4.1 mega pixels).

Drawing commissioned from an artist found on Wallapop for €30, it's A5 size.

Do you prefer the silver disc drive or the white disc drive. Personally I like both and can't decide which one looks better.

I got it about €35 because seller assumed controller was broken. I just got a battery pack and it's good to go! And with a CRT, I'm larping at finest.

Got it from eBay
Works really well

Got some stuff today. Pretty happy with it all. 😁

Too bad it has the zephyr motherboard

£2 at my local charity shop

Y’all can add me if you want
I really only chat and thats about it
Maybe soon i will get xbox game-pass lol

Hi, I was looking at my old xbox 360 account and noticed a unique profile picture. I remember playing the game as a kid and being rewarded with it alongside a cool helmet for my avatar. I asked GPT what game it was from and it has no clue so hopefully one of you guys know. Thanks :)

i dont have any nostalgia because i wasnt born back at those times, and i do wanna play online is the community still active? and idk anything about the XBOXes am a playstation guy so is it worth it

I used an old diode to roughly drop voltage closer to 2x AAs. Around 2.8v here with vibration off. Vibration drops it to Around 2v but has full power. Controller has yet to die! 4 hours and counting.

I’ve been playing and collecting some of my childhood games for a month now ever since i got my 360. this is what the collection is looking like now, thoughts?

I also just ordered midway blitz: the league 2. i cannot wait to play that 😭😭😭

I believe we have more than just these. I remember we had ALOT of demo discs from something my dad was signed up for. I don’t know what it was called, I’m too exhausted to try to remember. I just thought I’d share this. Have a great night, afternoon, or day! :3

it can now legally drink!

anyways ive had this abso UNIT for such a long time and it still runs like a dream! I can even run Midnight Club LA without any issues!

I have hit a point where there aren’t many games I REALLY want. I just keep getting games to get them or to like complete a set etc.

I’m in a place where I’m pretty happy with what I have. I initially started collecting 360 to regain all the games I had in my collection back home cause my mom sold our old collection (To be fair I did say it was fine cause I didn’t know I’d want them back)

😭

It took me 21 years but I finally had the first real reason to transfer anything over to it!! I’ve had it plugged into my console(s) since launch day and never did anything with it one single time. It was inside of my console for such a long time that when I pulled it out today the little memory card door stayed in the open position (as seen) and it took a bit of work to get it to shut. It felt nice to finally get use out of it! 😂

Green caps strike again. Replaced all nine and console works again! Was hoping it was going to be a blade dash but oh well, I found a good process on how to replace and fix them for me.

Timeline: Friend was playing COD, normal game after random disconnection from another game, dies, and then randomly shuts off, red ring of death. Made him show the secondary error code, 0001, and then after a restart it went from flashing the RRoD to a solid orange light (standby mode.) Friend's brother thinks its an issue with the power supply, but I feel it might be with the 12v rail. Model is a Xbox 360 Jasper with a 250GB detachable HDD. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I’ve only just started and this game is INSANELY good. The music and art direction is phenomenal and the controls are incredibly precise. I’ve heard this game was good but knew nothing about it until I got it.

The episode is season 10 episode 14, Run, Steven Staven! Run!

I found the original receipt inside the assassin's Creed box. It only costed me $6 Canadian while it costed $78.39 originally...
