Good Morning,
I got a code from Amazon when buying a new fire stick for a promo of One Month of Game Pass Ultimate. I dont want it to go to waste.
I unfortunately do not own an Xbox, and probably won't anytime soon. (new dad)
I'm gonna use a random comment generator to pick the winner.
Reddit account has to be older than a day with more than 100 karma (sorry bots)
Meant to say it's gonna close at 12:00pm EST!
Good luck!

:..get to spend 10 minutes clicking on like 20 individual DLC items in the new Xbox 'buy one get two' free sale and over 60 bucks but without getting the base games.
Tough decision.

Low-effort games have flooded eShop and PSN before, now they are hitting Xbox store, this is so bad that how can these platforms allow this sort of abuse??

Finally completed the village RE8 story mode on Xbox series X I had a good time playing it on the Xbox series X, but the quality of the headphones aren’t that good as other brands and right now I am trying to complete halo campaign evolved soo far so good . By the way I got multiple consoles and PC. I don’t really like the Home Screen software part & the design. I had an issue with the elite series 2 controller right bumper doesn’t work perfectly. So I had to buy a new elite core white controller.
I bought my Xbox series x in 2022 so I only paid 500 from the Xbox store online. Hopefully the next Xbox has better sound quality, a better software home page that’s unique “ smooth and easy to use” I went from Xbox series x to ps5 just to check it out because I never had one. I just prefer the ps5 Home Screen software and the sound quality is better. I really want to support this generation Xbox but it’s just not that satisfying as the other console overall. I did buy marathon on the Xbox series x . It’s cool , I like it . It’s just very different from what I’m use to .

Hey I've been considering getting into pc and console gaming for a while now, and i encounter a major problem as opposed to my expectations
I expected to buy the games and play them as I wish for, as opposed to game pass which looks convenient but has limits on play time.
For those who have a gamepass and those who are experienced or have been in my shoes,
What advice would you give me?
And i don't have a problem buying games themselves, but if I find gamepass to be somewhat convincing for me then I would opt for something different. I don't mind spending money, but I do need opinions of veterans
Appreciate the help!
I saw a Laptop which allows me to get the gamepass along with it, for about 2 months.
So I'm curious as to what I'm getting myself into.

Anybody know how one can redeem their rewards for game pass? All the option I see are the monthly options but AI claims that I can buy 12 months somehow

Hello legends
As above I have just purchased an Xbox series X and it’s the first time I will be playing since 2008 (logged into my old account and still had my achievements hahaha)
Anyway how does the backwards compatibility work. Do all games work? Is there a list somewhere
Please explain like I’m an idiot and thanks for any replies
So keen to get back into it

A user asked the official Xbox DACH account whether the Xbox Nano Controller supports vibration.
PlaySouls: Hi! Does the Xbox Nano Controller have rumble (vibration) functionality? I couldn’t find any information about it. Or will it only be available without vibration? I’ve already pre-ordered one, but I’m curious about this.
XBOX_DACH: Hi! The Nano Controller does not have vibration functionality.
It’s disappointing, but I’ve always wanted a well-built controller with the Xbox layout that’s small enough to slip into a small bag or even a pocket, so I’ve decided to get one anyway. Unlike the 8BitDo SN30 Pro(and for Xbox model), the Nano looks like it would be more comfortable to hold, thanks to its small grips.
I just wish they hadn’t left out rumble.

How do you see it? (AX-BY) or (AB-XY)?

Quick one for anyone who's ever plugged a mouse into an Xbox.
Mouse acceleration means your cursor or aim moves further the faster you swipe, so the same hand movement lands in different places. Windows and MacOS both let you switch it off. As far as I know, Xbox has no toggle, and in my experience it affects all games.
Why it matters even if you use a controller: Xbox supports mouse and keyboard in plenty of games, including for accessibility. Consistent mouse input matters for players who rely on KBM, so mouse acceleration is worth addressing.

I just want to start a world on Xbox, and pick it up and continue on PC.
They like, own the game devs. I don't feel this would be too hard. I've bought it multiple times, I just want cross-save functionality.
Am I missing something?

Quit gaming in my late teens as I was getting busy with life and at that time gaming was in a big lull so I got bored as well.
Bought a series x and I’m overwhelmed by what to even play. I get weird choice anxiety so curious what you think the best games I should put on my list.
I’ve heard a lot about control, Witcher 3, Skyrim, oblivion remake, RE4, Assassin’s creed black flag resynced, etc.. I kind of enjoy anything, but I love games with a cool world and lore. I grew up playing RuneScape and dragonwilds looks amazing, any thoughts on that? That genre of survival is totally new to me.

So before you start with first party only on Xbox, make sure there is actual consoles available to buy. Here in Norway there hasn't been consoles available in retail stores for two years, and the only online store that imports Series X sells it currently for 1400$! Please bring back some official channels to buy the consoles, both here and rest of Europe that has no inventory as well

It’s free on gamepass if anybody’s interested, here’s what I’ve taken from this game so far:
- the combat in this game is fun, perfect parries are incredibly satisfying and the swordplay is fast and intense. You can also use magic and other guns to help you kill the undead.
- enemies are extremely unforgiving and intimidating by design, one minute you’re killing regular enemies just to turn the corner and see a giant wielding a massive sword. If you die, you respawn at the last save/rest point, just like dark souls and Elden ring.
- you can upgrade your weapons to deal more damage, but to do that you need to kill a ton of enemies without dying.
- the story didn’t really click with me but it does have a great setting. The harrowing battlefields littered with dead bodies makes it more intense.
Overall I’d give it an 8/10.

So I haven’t played video games in years and just recently got a series S to play Apex and COD with my co workers. I have a gamesir G7 pro controller wired, and power a fusion wired headset. My issue is I don’t hear directional audio with the headset. Among issues with mic and random audio drop in one ear. So I plan on replacing headset I’m looking for opinions on headsets and iems (with mic/ mic setup) and how y’all have them setup. Any and all advice is appreciated. Price cap $350ish US
