It's a disgusting mess

We're all just watching a fat fuck make every normal person's life worse.

I'm thousands of miles away from the fat fuck in question as well.

My mortgage is about to take a giant leap thanks to this moron half way a world away.

Interest rates were on a lovely downward trend and then Mr NoMoreWars decided he wanted loads more wars. Orange moron.

u/mrekted 5d ago edited 5d ago

The rest of us sure did screw up by hitching our economic wagons to the Americans.

Oh well, lesson learned.

72

u/Defiant-Plane4557 5d ago

Don't forget oil. Being addicted to fossils has enabled the worst pieces of shits in the world to ruin everything for everyone.

1

u/eclecticaesthetic1 3d ago

And the Orange AH paid the fossil fuel companies to stop their renewable programs.

He REALLY wanted to make money on oil! (or earl as he really pronounces it with his Queens Germantown accent)

8

u/pm_me_your_f4u 5d ago

Let's hope we are correct that as quick as possible, knowing it's measured in years

Here in ca ads there has been a big push to do so

3

u/EnvironmentalOwl6882 4d ago

Unfortunately it's not a certainty that that lesson has been learned. There's a real risk of leaders going "well it was just trump and he's gone now", and missing it's that whole half of the country that are the issue.

18

u/kiki1492022 5d ago

Yep mine due in feb to be renewed, looking at about £200 extra a month thanks to that orange pedo

2

u/Madgick 5d ago

Exact same. I’ve already locked in a shitty rate 6 months ahead, because you can back out 14 days before and get a different rate at anytime.

So, 5 more months to go, regularly checking if there are better deals to move onto. But who knows, maybe by then there will be US troops in Denmark and my shitty rate from September will suddenly look very nice.

6

u/nowwhatdoidowiththis 5d ago

No no! He SAYS he STOPPED 8 wars!!!

He is the bestest war stopper ever. Bigly stopping even.

😭

6

u/Stirams 5d ago

Remember its the USA that does this

3

u/Mean_Joe_Greene 5d ago

He decided to distract from him being in the Epstein files. I guess it worked

3

u/ttraband 5d ago

He broke the “no new wars” pledge to prevent the old news of his Epstein ties coming into full view.

2

u/Successful-Doubt5478 5d ago

Still people everywhere keep voting right. For the parties this guys supports.

1

u/bot-TWC4ME 4d ago

That's just the short term pile of manure.

Long term stuff like "War Crimes are Fine", "Law of the Sea means Nothing", and "Invading others for land and resources is cool" is going to ramp up wars, atrocities, and piracy for decades.

North Korea has nuclear weapons now. Iran will get them because of this guy as well using the same tactics (peace deals mean nothing: we'll tear them up and keep threatening and attacking you until you get nukes, then we'll back off and treat you nice). Saudi Arabia and their allies are probably is already well on the way because of backroom deals for US nuclear tech.

Our system failed us

Time for a new one, pe rhaps

54

u/HGpennypacker 5d ago

Our system failed us

The system relied on a series of checks and balances. What it did not account for was what happens when a single political identity takes over those checks and balances, and to a further degree CATERS their role to serve that political identity.

4

u/Nematode_wrangler 5d ago

When all this is over, how do you suggest that gets amended? Because, obviously, it has to change so it can't happen again.

15

u/HGpennypacker 5d ago

Honestly, I have no clue. Anyone who thinks that Trump administration officials are going to be held responsible are living in a fantasy land. Truthfully I don't think we are going to go back to a level of checks and balances that was seen prior to 2016, the cat is out of the bag and too many people are getting insanely wealthy.

2

u/eclecticaesthetic1 3d ago

End the electoral college and the filibuster.

5

u/TheDevil-YouKnow 5d ago

Term limits. It's the only thing that'll turn these career fucking pieces of shit in The Congress to actually try to fix the country.

The political identity was a means to an end for these lifer fucking House & Senate members. They wanted to ensure election success. After that, they catered to the lobbyists that would make them millionaires.

Knee cap that from happening, all the sudden lobbyists aren't as powerful, and if you wanna win your full term you have to, I don't know, maybe ACTUALLY push the nation forward. Not just your savings account.

4

u/Zerthix 5d ago

The people failed too. There's no excuse for why that many millions of people can all be such dumb, arrogant fucks that they can fall for the emperor with no clothes.

82

u/RookieGreen 5d ago

It’s happening all over the world. Authoritarian, right wing parties are gaining traction everywhere. Social media boosts all our worst tribalistic impulses.

48

u/TrainingJellyfish643 5d ago

True but most modern democracies have some semblance of a functional public education system so theres more of a buffer

40

u/Chesapeake_Hippo 5d ago

Two generations of eroding the education system precisely so the peasants are dumb enough to fall for the propaganda. This has been in the works for decades.

8

u/Emu1981 5d ago

Social media is only amplifying the issues. The root cause is being screwed over by the 1% with worsening financial security, worsening social security (e.g. terrorist attacks, etc) and worsening job security (e.g. AI, less permanent employment, etc). If you don't look too deep then fascism and other authoritarian forms of right wing governments promise more security so people tend to flock to it when times are getting bad. It is why fascism broke out in Europe last century.

1

u/ventingandcrying 5d ago

Also there was a worldwide pandemic that a lot of countries but especially the USA never recovered from, and in times of crisis people turn to radical ideas. For some reason most people go with the hate filled ones first but yknow, some of us can read I guess

19

u/5hawnking5 5d ago

As far as I know, it's been very difficult for many people to vote in the U.S. elections. What the hell even is a 'Super Tuesday'?

In every civilized country other than the U.S. the voting day is always a Sunday. And there's no gerrymandering. In most countries, you don't even have to register as a voter. You just get your ass there, show your ID and vote. Simple as that.

There are no hours-long lines voting in extreme heat, where it's not even allowed to anyone get you a bottle of water so you don't faint and fall down in the line.

2

u/guilen 5d ago

And people endure that to fuck over their neighbours and the world. It's nuts.

3

u/C47man 5d ago

People will always be, on average, fucking idiots. It requires a culture that idolizes intelligence and merit to overcome this fundamental fact. And the US has been pulled away from that ideal over the past 50 years. We can't be surprised it turned out this way.

5

u/guilen 5d ago

Venerates, not idolizes. Idolotry is part of what made the right so vengeful.

3

u/C47man 5d ago

That's a much better word choice!

3

u/Nostradumbass_WEEN 5d ago

This was the goal.

3

u/C47man 5d ago

Yes, it absolutely was. And it's infuriating that we don't seem to have the collective ability to stop it any more. It will take an actual civil war to save the country at this point, and that would be such a tragedy.

1

u/MossGobbo 4d ago

A lot of people did fail. Some of us tried for two years as the election cycle was starting to speak out as much as we could. That isn't our faults that other people didn't listen.

35

u/kilters 5d ago

Keep trying. It's not obvious from the outside.

6

u/Meattyloaf 5d ago

Its because our media is heavily right winged so your not going to hear about the efforts being done to put an end to this mess starting with the midterms. Dems are polling decently well and are showing they may take back both houses. However, you wouldn't know because the media doesn't talk about it.

9

u/Gilith 5d ago

I love how you guyz think the midterms will solves everything you do know you had very big problems before Trump, from my point of view Trump is the symptoms not the cause, you fucked your school and teacher you fucked your news you fucked hospital you fucked your mental asylum you rawdogged your citizens with medicine made with drugs. So now you got a bunch of unneducated lunatics who can vote and BOY DO THEY VOTE and they sure do love their weapons.

2

u/Meattyloaf 5d ago

I didn't fuck anything. The 2016 election was the forst Presidential election I could vote in. I think some of yall fail to realize that there are people who are in the early 30s and younger that had virtually no say in where this country is currently. Also no one expects the mid terms to fix everything but we can atleast try to right this fucking ship and hold people accountable for their actions.

5

u/Spartan_Mage 5d ago

What do you think we have been trying to do since 2016? Do you think we have been doing nothing? The apathetic party of people only react when they are personally affected and nothing more. A large portion of American people are very selfish because we have been taught all our lives to "figure it out on your own" and not get or offer help. Most people who don't care simply don't give a shit until it hurts them, and will never vote a day before that. That is what we are dealing with, a nation of hyper individualistic workaholics who have been taught since birth to only care about themselves, completely in the capalist grind.

4

u/MindMonitor 5d ago

You’re right. The american culture is exactly like you described, and it’s a failed experiment.
I personally think the majority of you done exactly fuc* all, with reasons rooted in that predatory capitalism your country is founded on.

1

u/Spartan_Mage 4d ago

A big problem is that because of our complete dependence on our economic system, Americans don't actually have that much more of a support system/ safty net other than their money. If they get fired for attending a protest or trying to convince people through political discussions there is a very real chance that they will go hungry if they don't have close family. Or even if they have friends and family to support them, they will basically be starting from zero financially putting them back years.

I would not call it a failed experiment, because it directly produce the most richest country in the world. I would call it a cold and heartless way to live that values money or genuine connection to people and morals. A place where every bill that is proposed is that could actually help people must have some form of financial benefit to be considered. A place that was so divided on basic human rights that they tore each other apart in a bloody civil war over it, and have been ready to do so again.

American culture is one of selfishness and "fuck you I got mine", where you worth to many people is what you can do for them and how much money you make.

3

u/MindMonitor 4d ago

u/011100010110010101 4d ago

Issue is money and organization.

Protesting means most Americans are not working, which means if we do it for longer then 3 or 4 days we'll starve. Similarly, we dont have anyone willing to both pay for the cross contienent transportation and housing most Americans need.

Jan 6th happened in a large part because Trump and dozens of other Oligarchs paid for it. We had Charlie Kirk literally paying for the Bus Fare of traitors to the capital. It was a planned coup that due to bureacratic tampering couldnt actually get the men responsible charged and found guilty before the presidential term ended.

We do like, twice a year, plan big nationwide protests. It's just exceptionally hard to do because of the financial burden laid on us for protesting.

1

u/Rokea-x 2d ago

No.

Issue is people have not suffered enough yet. Physically and financially.

1

u/Yuli-Ban 2d ago

I don't mean to be a doomer pessimist; the problem I always get out of "the reckoning is coming, the revolution will come" is it's always by the same left of center """radical socialist""" types who likely are not part of any real organization, not even the DSA, and revolution is treated as "we overthrow the rich, everything is better." Basically a Pink Rapture.

When everything I'm seeing on the ground is that the only group seriously organizing to exploit a collapse is the Groypers, and there's no real expectation among the youth to anticipate what would actually happen if an uprising DID occur

No mass movement, no contingencies, many are still staunchly anti-gun or believe "physical fitness is Fascist"

Which just tells me if a reckoning does come, it'd be "mass general strike unseats the government, Groypers march on Washington facing no real resistance, we now have an openly Fascist government instead of a hyper capitalist nationalist one."

I hope actual organization occurs, because otherwise we could get Italy instead of France very very easily

1

u/Rokea-x 2d ago

There is always a reckoning. We’ll see if it takes them 6months or 10 years

1

u/Mister_Ape_1 1d ago edited 1d ago

Italy is the black pilled country. It just realized there is nothing it can do and does not even waste time trying. It is also pretty much a 3rd world economy now, and its political class is made of the most ridicolous, treacherous, sad and greasy human beings ever seen. If America is plagued by one very bad politician at the top, Italy on the other hand can not find a single good one wherever it looks. And is not even perceived as a plague, but rather as a grim normality.

And while at least there was not either any particularly dangerous individual seeking power around since italian politicians only want to rule to get more money and status, since the arrival of General Vannacci we also have a real threat who wants to ideologically change the country - for the worse - and mold it around his ideas.

The only reason it is not the very worst country to live in, out of those that are poor but not actually that poor, is that people just do not care about politics and do their own thing.

Indeed, in the land where the very concept of far right was originated, maybe people should just not care about politics. The more they do, the worse they make it. It is a horrible advice in general, I believe people should actively partecipate in public life in order to defend their rights, but when it comes to Italy...is better to just go on.

Bad luck living in a two-party system of ~340 M people. From outside, this is beyond ridiculous, the scale, you know?

For me, living in a small country with coalition administrations for generartions, it's sometimes a pain in the a** as well. But, at least we know there's max. 4 yrs and we can vote the morons out. And we know their names, and their affiliations. Then we don't vote them again.

I think that's called a real democracy. Of course there are bad seeds everywhere and some kind of a systemic corruption, but at least there really are checkes and balances.

For me, it seems that those checkes etc. are long gone in the U.S. Isn't it always about me, me, me, my gas, my guns, guns, guns, my money, money, and my 'rights'? Isn't it?

Then, sometimes, you find yourself in a situation where you have no rights whatsoever, because your rights were based on money, basically. Like, now in 2026, am I right?

Even if the election is legit, it doesn't address the rot deep within American culture that allowed such a man to get to the Whitehouse in the first place, and will allow the next to get in after.

We do indeed, and I openly advocate that we should do something about it.

This has been a problem since pre-1865 and has been the long term project of the neo-confederacy. The decendants of the confederacy got to keep their cash so they used it to play the long game and corrupt the government from within. Well the wound has split and spilled the pus everywhere.

It's kind of too early to tell for sure, but it kind of feels like that's exactly what Hungary did.

4

u/pietroetin 5d ago

We did it in Hungary

Those who can’t are struggling to survive, those who can are on vacation (congress). We are limited in options until next month.

Last time there was a maniac running a country into the ground and starting wars and literally screwing the entire world over, other countries stepped in to help.

u/leavemeinpieces 5d ago

How would you want other countries to help?

Realistically if we disagree with something he says or does sanctions pop up. He can fuck with everything.

I personally think the entire world (sensible countries) should pull together and sanction the living fuck out of him or do whatever it takes to make him feel the pain.

I also think leaders (and I realise this can't happen for real) should be calling out all the bullshit all the time.

Nobody pulls him up and he gets away with so much bad shit. He needs to understand how stupid he is, but obviously that would be catastrophic for global economies because he is a child.

Yeah, nobody is coming to save us. They'll wait for us to tear ourselves apart, and come in and take the scraps.

21

u/dwninswamp 5d ago

Because that’s what we’d do (and repeatedly have done).

6

u/Fickle-Inspector-354 5d ago

Exactly. We reap what we sow. I'm just sad I have to be part of this.

u/ElPampel 5d ago

Do not forget that only happened after the 2nd World War was already on it's way, and it took an immense death toll..

u/jstilla 5d ago

We are just waiting for him to croak at this point.

This would be the final confirmation Trump is a Russian asset

We need the previous tenants to die before we can take residency. I'm living in the rafters.

You all must be so proud of yourselves as moral champions of the free world.

BUT SHE LAUGHED WEIRDLY AND WOULD HAVE BEEN WORSE ON GAZA

1

u/WillfulKind 5d ago

We couldn’t agree more.

1

u/1bourbon1scotch1bier 5d ago

Easier said than done unfortunately. It’s exhausting

u/nodrino 5d ago

A house doesn’t get dirty on its own; it’s the people living there who do.

1

u/VectorB 5d ago

Gotta tell you all, you really can't wait on us. You have left too much to trusting the US government to do the right thing.

1

u/Thatsockmonkey 5d ago

A few dozen billionaires and thousands of pedophiles and millions of white nationalists have free range to do whatever they want. Nothing will change here until something uncomfortable forces them to stop.

1

u/dantedoesamerica 5d ago

It’s going to get a lot better in November. That’s when grand theft auto 6 comes out.

1

u/Stredny 5d ago

We agree

1

u/you-farted 5d ago

There is shit everywhere!

1

u/valar12 5d ago

Prepare for that to not happen. Honestly.

1

u/nsk_nyc 5d ago

All I can say is I am sorry. I didn’t vote for him, but I am truly sorry.

1

u/goochgrease2 5d ago

My brother in Christ I hate this as much as you do. I didn't fully grasp how shitty and stupid most of my country is.

1

u/Ytrewq9000 4d ago

Ukraine if you are reading this, keep blowing up Russian refineries so they can’t produce anything.

1

u/MiawHansen 4d ago

Yep. And please fucking convict pedos in your country, its honestly insane to watch, you elect people that tries to over throw your own democracy, and that same person and all of his cabinet is also pedos. Fucking hell america, do something now stop fucking sitting on your fat asses.

1

u/loglighterequipment 4d ago

The election is in a month and every indication is we will fix the mess.

1

u/benethopper 4d ago

We’re all trying. Watch come November. Either democrats take back the legislature or we see the biggest election interference plot come to life.

1

u/Future-Suit6497 4d ago

Not going to happen. They're busy watching Netflix.

1

u/Outers55 4d ago

As an american, sorry about that. In all fairness a lot of us have been trying for a long time. If you've got any thoughts on how to stop the rise of right-leaning authoritarian governments , I'm sure the world could benefit from your wisdom. It's hardly a problem that only the US has faced.

1

u/ItsDobbie 4d ago

We’re trying, boss. Probably is there’s a bunch of MAGATS we can’t seem to get rid of 😔.

1

u/BadgerSmaker 4d ago

Americans run their vehicles on dead Ukrainian school children, they say it gives good mpg.

1

u/mikeyb777 3d ago

Live report from the USA: everything fucking sucks and most people that voted for him can't see the correlation to everything sucking and Trump/Maga being in charge of making things not suck. I'm trying my best to hold others accountable, spread love, preach about being good people but accountability has left the country.. day to day we get by but things keep getting worse here. Midterm elections could help but there's no guarantees on who will win an election. I pray we find our way

u/fat_kaiju 5d ago

Apparently the best they can do is spam that stupid "now imagine the us is trapped in the car while the alarm is going off" meme or whatever the hell it is.
