Prisencolinensinainciusol is a song composed by the Italian singer Adriano Celentano, and performed by Celentano and his wife Claudia Mori. Both the name of the song and its lyrics are gibberish, but are intended to represent what American English sounds like to people who do not understand English

What’s suddenly so interesting about math and math equations?

It’s always fun to “check the temperature” of the English world by looking at the top reads of the day. But I can’t for the life of me figure out why it’s “mathematics” and “lists of equations”. Anyone have a hint?

Benzodiazepine withdrawal syndrome (BZD withdrawal) is the cluster of signs and symptoms that may emerge when a person who has been taking benzodiazepines develops a physical dependence on them and then reduces the dose or stops taking them without a safe taper schedule.

Typically, benzodiazepine withdrawal is characterized by sleep disturbance, irritability, increased tension and anxiety, depression, panic attacks, hand tremor, shaking, sweating, difficulty with concentration, confusion and cognitive difficulty, memory problems, dry mouth, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite and weight loss, burning sensations and pain in the upper spine, palpitations, headache, nightmares, tinnitus, muscular pain and stiffness, depersonalization, restless legs syndrome, seizures, suicidal ideation, and a host of perceptual changes.

Benzodiazepine withdrawal can also lead to disturbances in mental function that persist for several months or years after onset of symptoms (referred to as post-acute-withdrawal syndrome in this form).

Withdrawal symptoms can be managed by educating patients about the nature and expected course of benzodiazepine withdrawal, individualized taper strategies according to withdrawal severity, the addition of alternative strategies such as reassurance, and referral to benzodiazepine withdrawal support groups.

Reddit is a proprietary American social news website, news aggregator, forum and social media platform. Users (commonly referred to as "redditors") submit content to the site such as links, text posts, images, and videos, which are then voted up or down ("upvoted" or "downvoted") by other members.

Submissions with more upvotes appear towards the top of their subreddit and, if they receive enough upvotes, ultimately on the site's front page. Reddit administrators moderate the communities. Moderation is also conducted by subreddit-specific moderators, who are unpaid volunteers. It is operated by Reddit, Inc., based in San Francisco.

The high school movement is a term used in educational history literature to describe the era from 1910 to 1940 during which secondary schools as well as secondary school attendance sprouted across the United States.

During the early part of the 20th century, American youth entered high schools at a rapid rate, mainly due to the building of new schools, and a shifting focus towards a "life adjustment curriculum" focused on adolescents' immediate and personal needs. In 1910 18% of 15- to 18-year-olds were enrolled in a high school; barely 9% of all American 18-year-olds graduated. By 1940, 73% of American youths were enrolled in high school and the median American youth had a high school diploma.

The United States exceeded Europe and Russia in mass secondary education. The American system of education was characterized as open to many students, forgiving, lacking universal standards, and academic. On the other hand, the European system was closed, unforgiving, with uniform standards, and academic for some and industrial for others. Secondary schools in America were free and generally accessible, while in most of Europe they were costly and often inaccessible with difficult entrance exams.

We turned the Wiki Race into a free multiplayer site with custom settings

Hey everyone,

My friend and I used to play the Wikipedia game the old school way, picking two random articles and trying to count our own clicks manually. We got tired of keeping score by hand and looked for websites to play on, but we could not find a good free multiplayer option that let us control our own lobby settings.

We ended up making Clickipedia (https://clickipedia.io).

Instead of just racing to the finish, we wanted to focus on competition, exploration, and different styles of play. It is 100% free and has three modes:

  • Daily: One shared route every day to see who can navigate it in the fewest clicks.
  • Weekly: A much harder and longer challenge.
  • Lobbies: Free multiplayer where you can set up custom rules and play with friends in real time.

It has been a blast discovering bizarre rabbit holes on the site. Check out today's route or grab a friend for a match and let us know what you think!
