Question 2 Norwegians looking for White Sox tickets tonight
My wife and I are visiting Chicago from Norway and would love to go to the White Sox game tonight.
Does anyone happen to have 2 spare tickets? Happy to pay.
We do not know that much about baseball, so it would actually be great to sit with some Sox fans who can explain the game a bit and give us the proper Chicago baseball experience.
Thought I would ask here before just buying random tickets online. If anyone has space for 2 Norwegians tonight, let me know!

Part of the experience is buying them from the ticket window at the ballpark. No additional fees that way, as well.

Try to sit in the lower, 100 level if you can. It's a better overall experience, but there really isn't a bad seat in the house. And, we're all Midwest friendly here, any one will gladly explain the game, tell you what food to get, tell you where to get it, etc. Do not feel uncomfortable asking just anyone sitting or standing around you. As soon as you say your here from Norway you'll be embraced! Welcome and Go Sox!!

Hi Norwegians, welcome to Chicago. Please say "Hi" to Erling Haaland for us. If you aren't doing anything on Sunday morning, make your way to AJ Hudson's pub at 3801 N. Ashland. It is the Man City bar and if you tell people you are Norwegians, you will probably have people buying you drinks all morning!

There's plenty of tickets left on the 500 level. You could walk up to the box office and buy any tickets and either take your seats or look around the 100 level for vacant seats and sit in em. Very common at Rate Field to sit anywhere and wait to get kicked out by the real ticket holders. Seating isn't very enforced. Velkommen til Chicago!

But on nights with big crowds-like this one- I believe they limit lower deck access to ticket holders in that level

Proper experience: Walk up to the ticket window and specifically ask for "2 of the cheapest tickets available please". They'll be cheaper than online. Then enjoy the class and elegance of the 500 level where cheap dads, amped up youth, and Norweigans come to see the best show in the best city in the world!

Sox do not typically sell out so as others have said here you can walk up to the box office and get 500 level tickets. Although Elvis night is tonight? Not sure how popular that is.

So here's the thing. Tornados are always unlikely BUT there is a possibility of severe weather tonight so you should know what to do just in case a tornado comes your way.
First, know the difference between a tornado watch and a tornado warning. A tornado watch means conditions are right to form a tornado to form and the national weather service is WATCHING for one to form. A tornado warning means a tornado has been spotted by a tornado spotter or radar indicates a tornado has formed. A tornado warning means "warning there IS a tornado."
If you find yourself in an area that is under a tornado warning, seek shelter in a building. Preferably in a basement. If you can't get to a basement get to the innermost part of the building you have access to. You want to be away from windows and external walls. The biggest danger from tornadoes is flying debris. You want to put as much building as you can between you and the outside as you can.
Don't be scared but be prepared.

The ones who are saying this to get free tickets. They saw how generous we were during the world cup, and they want to take advantage of it. Not saying this one is, but it's happening.

If you dont get any hits, just go to the park and get whatever tickets from the ticket window. Shouldn't have any issues getting them right before the game.
